The Brechin Light Brechin Ontario is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Toronto on the eastern shores of Lake Simcoe. Whilst there hasn't been any reports in a long time it was home to a series of "ghostlights with the first known sightings occurring at the turn of the 19th century." Reports included a "football sized" light that was accompanied by a loud-buzzing sound. Similar to reports of what we now call ball lightening. The "ghostlights" appeared to favour railway tracks and crossings - once apparently stopping the Grand Trunk train! It was also blamed for entering a room in the Brechin Hotel and terrifying a guest. It has been described by those who have claimed to witness it as a "ball of fire that plays along the shoreline of eastern Lake Simcoe." Have you witnessed The Brechin Light? If so we would appreciate hearing from you. Please email your report to reports@pararesearchers.org Please include Brechin Ontario in the subject line of your report.
