Ontario UFO Sightings 2002
Toronto ON Nov 12th 12:30am approx.
I saw in the early morning of November 12th [2002] (after 12:30 am) an unusual object flying back and forth in an area northwest of the Steeles Avenue and Bathurst Street area. I suppose it was in the sky over Thornhill. I viewed it with another person from a high-risebuilding (located between Finch and Steeles) for at least 10 to 15 minutes. (The other person saw the object before I did. I was woken up from my sleep by the other person to see the object). The object consisted of a pulsating red light.With a pair of binoculars, I saw only the red light (no other colours) and did not see any structure or wings. The object was moving abruptly and rapidly back and forth, as though it were surveying the area. I don't know if it was moving in a linear path back and forth, or in some kind of circular or quasi-circular path. I did not hear any noise associated with the object, but it was far away. Due to the fear that I experienced, I did not open the window to try to hear if there was a noise. This object changed postion several times in an abrupt and rapid manner that was not characteristic of conventional aircraft (plane or helicopter). This object was definitely not a meteorite, the planet Venus, or a pelican. It disappeared from my view at about 10 minutes to one in the morning. Perhaps technicians at the airport recorded something unusual on radar? This experience was upsetting. I would be interested if there were other people who observed this unusual object, or who might know what it was.

"Live in the Jane and Wilson area of Toronto. Im writting to
report a similar sighting on Oct 20th 11:30pm. On November 10/02 9:30PM, my girlfriend and I were driving north up Jane to Steeles when a bright fireball like light broke through the clouds four times heading due north. From what I know, meteors when they come into the atomosphere do not break through clouds, but burn up on entry. The object was moving to fast to be a plane, topping speads of at least 2000-2500 mph. Clouds were at an elivation of 500-1000 feet. The object disappeard into the North end of the city in a matter of seconds. Shortly after the sighting, about a 5 - 10 minute time span, it clouded over a bit more and started to rain."

Toronto ON Oct 20th 11:30pm
Live in the west end of Toronto near High Park south of Bloor Street. Sitting in my backyard having a cigarette. Fairly clear night but it did cloud over after the sighting. Glanced to the north and saw a
bright light shoot
straight down. Looked odd. It could have just been a really huge shooting star. But I don't think it was. It looked like a big bright white headlight of a car, but it was in the sky and it did not have a tail like a meteorite. Plus it was quite big and it looked to be at a low attitude. Much bigger than a shooting star. About the size of a small pea in the night sky. Moved very fast - disappeared from view behind neighbour's rooftop. From my vantage point the light appeared to be falling straight down but it might have been shooting across the sky in a northerly direction.
Don't know what it was. Just saw it for a second. I thought that I would post this just in case anyone else saw something more that night as well.

We were getting some
fresh air on the balcony at a wedding reception, when all of a sudden we both saw what we thought was a shooting star in the eastern sky going from south to north. The object shot across the sky very much like a shooting star, but part way through its flight, it suddenly made about an 80-degree turn and continued very quickly in a westerly direction across the sky. It then went in a circle and seemed to zig-zag before it shot off across the sky and disappeared in the light pollution on the western horizon. The object moved very quickly, and appeared to be very high up, leaving a faint tail. It was bright and appeared to flash briefly once or twice.

Brockville ON September 12th 1am
We decided to walk our usual
route home, through a path. As the path came to an end, my friend shouted "Look, there!" and I ran ahead to see what it was, and to my surprise it was definitely a UFO... because I have no idea what it was that I saw really. But I can describe it. It appeared to me as a horse-shoe shape at the front, and my friend claims it was a triangle, but I only got a glimpse of it. It seemed to be Invisible. The only way I could tell that it was there, is because I could see the space around it glowing a bright white/blue. There were no lights, no jet trails, and no sound. It was moving quite fast, and disappeared behind a house after I got a glimpse of it. My friend that got a better look at the thing claimed that it was going about mach 5, I couldnt' tell the actual speed, but it was very fast. I explained to another friend what had happened, and he suggested that it was probably "cloaked" like 'Predator', or a 'Klingon' spaceship'. I am a 20 year old College student, and the other witness is a 23 year old Cook at a local restaurant.

My sister-in-law and myself were sitting in my back yard with a cup of coffee, chatting, when she yelled and pointed to the shy above my head. "look at these lights" There was 3 lights that were
crossing the sky very fast! They were definitely not planes because of their speed and the way they were acting. They were flying and they regrouped and they separated themselves again to finally disappearing
in the horizon. They were very bright. When I went to work the next day, other people from my area saw them too.
Sauble Beach August 24th 10:10pm
I was looking at Polaris and then two bright objects appeared right where I was
looking. The two objects seemed to be round, and were very bright (white). The two objects began to spin in a clockwise circle together as if synchronized and tethered together, they did 4 rotations, then they stopped the rotation and traded places vertically very quickly, the top one going to the bottom, and the bottom one going to the top, they did this three times, and on the last time they did not stop, they kept traveling apart from each other until I could no longer see them.

Belleville-Area August 25th 11pm
I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle with my mother, sister, and nephew. We were sitting on their screened in porch, in their backyard.Because we live in the city and their is alot of light pollution we were looking at the stars.At 11pm my mother had commented on a strange star in the sky to the NW and questioned whether or not it was a star. We all looked at it and noticed the different colours. My uncle being and avid bird watcher brought out his binoculars and we all took turns looking at this object.It had muliple lights that flashed yellow, red , green, and blue. My sister and I being the only ones who don't need to wear glasses got the best view from the binoculars. We couldn't see the craft in great detail but there was a row of lights in the middle of the craft that were alternating colours. With the naked eye you could see the pulsating of the lights.But with the binoculars you could actually see the lenses of the lights, each was dim then would light up in series. It hovered for quite sometime then would make very erratic movements. It then disappeared into the tree line. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. My uncle had fallen early in the evening and my aunt and mother decided to take him to the hospital to get it looked at. When they were leaving we noticed two objects in the sky where the first one was. We, my sister and her son and I went back into the backyard and continued to watch these objects. They zig zagged back and forth, then we noticed three more. I then looked to the north and saw one hovering by itself. It was quite a distance from the others. We then saw a plane in the sky flying from east to west in the direction of the lone craft, when the plane was in the general area the craft shot up very qiuckly,but still remained visible. The plane just continued on a westward path. We still continued to question what we had actually seen, even making jokes about aliens coming to take back a cup that my nephew had purchased, it was shaped like an alien. At about 2am we heard a noise coming from the woods. I turned to look at my sister and she looked behind me to where the noise was coming from. At that moment looking to the front of the house through the windows I saw a flash of yellow light, it lit up the front of the house. At the same time my sister saw a blue light flash in the backyard. She later said it was like a spotlight shining down into the backyard. The roof of the porch is made of a green coragated plastic. She said she could see where the light was coming from . It was directly overhead, if it was a helicopter I'm sure we would have heard something, like I said it was a clear calm night and we had just had a full moon three days before. We quickly ushered my nephew inside and checked the front of the house. Nothing. We locked the front door and decided to go back out to the backyard. Just before 3am we both heard a noise from the woods again, this time it was much clearer. Whatever it was made this vocal noise that was 3 syllables long. We ran into the house.

Ottawa-Area August 25th, 5pm
It was approximately 17.00 hours Sunday afternoon, August 25th. in a back yard 40 miles west of Ottawa. I had been working all afternoon and decided to take a rest on the lounge in the back yard patio. I had just laid down and was amazed at how clear and blue the sky was. I noticed a jet in the far distance going north to south and could see the jet stream behind it when all of a sudden a object going west to east caught my eye. It was going at a incredible speed that I barely had time to sit up and watch it go out of sight. It obviously was metalic as it was glowing and flashing in the sunlight and appeared to be circular in shape although I'm not sure as I only saw it for a instant before it disappeared. There was absolutely no noise from this object as you would normally hear from an airplane or other conventional flying apparatus. Being in the country I often watch planes or helicopters going over at different heights however never in my life have I ever seen a object move that fast and disappear out of sight so quick and not make a sound. It didn’t appear to be that high however I can't truthfully say although it was well below the jet I was watching and in comparison appeared to be small in size. It went in a straight line and disappeared out of sight in the east.

Brampton, ON August 3rd 8pm
“Today, my family and I were coming out of the Grande theatre at Orion Gate on
Steeles. We hadn't watched a movie, we were just trying to book my boy's birthday party. The parking lot was bustling with cars and people.. which put me on alert in case one of my three children decided to dart. That is the only reason perhaps why I noticed such a fast moving object above my head. I am a skeptical fellow. But I am left with questions after this incident. The lights, blue and white, are normal navigational lights and perhaps rocket exhaust. This is why I still believe what I saw is terrestrial. However, that was about the only normal thing. I have lived near the *******, England; A place where they tested low level fighter pilots at speeds exceeding sound. I have watched them go by silently and heard the boom and engine noise that follows. This object travelled directly, like a rocket, without shuddering. It effortlessly passed over my head and a distance 1-2km further east in a matter of 4 or 5 seconds. Then, as I was comprehending what would fly so low, so fast .. the lights turned off.. I could not see it anymore.. whether it changed pitch, switched off or what.. I do not know. My first thought was that it was a cruise missile.. only by the slicing ease of flight and the apparent absence of wings. I found it hard to believe that something flying so low could disappear from my view in 4-5 seconds just by switching off; Usually planes can be viewed for quite sometime on a clear day like today.. as I noted when I looked south towards Pearson... about 2km away.
Secondly, the inevitable boom was not heard.
The sound my daughter and I both heard was ironically, a whirring.. a low tone rocket engine or a warbling hum. So it was not going faster than sound... which meant that in order to cover the full arc of sky that I saw it for in such a short time.. it was flying quite low. A fact that wasn't apparent when it was directly overhead but became more evident as it approached the horizon in the east. So why wasn't the engine sound louder?.. Why did we only notice it afterward?
In any case, I guess this event will remain something to ponder.. just like the gray shape hanging in the air that my wife and I watched last month... completely unconventional.”

Lake Huron at the mouth of the Thessalon River July 19th
I have some records that I have just started to keep the past little while.
People report to me from various locations in the area.
Oddlights in the north channel which did not appear to be another boat or airplane too low. They were clear/white in color and appeared to be on the
surface of the water, these lights suddenly shot
skyward similar to the reverse action of a shooting star. There were three lights and 2 went eastward, the other went westward at a very fast speed. One of the boaters thought it was American military activities; others thought they had witnessed something unidentifiable.

"On Tuesday July 9th me, my dad,my uncle and aunt saw 3 flying rounded shape objects in the sky. They were glowing. when this happened I was on my uncles deck outside just looking into the sky when my uncle noticed these crazy phenomenon.The first thing that made me realize the object was the glowing of the object and they were flying high in the sky. They moved sooo fast, they were faster then any kind of plane because there were planes flying around at the time.They moved at different angles. Well first they flew parallel and then they made 90 degree angles and started to cris cross. It was the scariest thing Ive ever seen. Right away we called the airport to see if they had seen anything on their radar but we never got through. we were all left in amazment. We then lost sight of it when they left into the sky like they disappeared, and the sky was a clear night so they certainly didnt go behind any clouds."

Go Home Lake - Muskoka July 6th, 9:30pm
This past Saturday night,July6/02, my wife ****** and I experienced an intiguing
phenomenon up at our cottage on Go Home Lake in Muskoka. After dinner, at about 9:30 pm, we decided to take a little cruise in our boat. It was a beautiful evening, just about dusk. We had our running lights on and proceded in a Northerly direction very slowly.It was a quiet calm night. About 10 minutes into our cruise I noticed a very bright light off the port side of the boat in a Westerly direction , about 35 degrees off the horizon. I asked my wife if she thought it was a star but then I noticed it was moving. I wasn't sure at first but then realized it was moving, and in the same direction as us at about the same proportionate speed. It was passing some treetops in my line of site which indicated the movement.
We of course didn't know what this could be (I'm a
skeptic) but as an exercise I sped up the boat to about 30 mph and sure enough the lighted object did the same thing, just enough to stay with us. My wife and I were amazed that it reacted. Was it a fluke? We slowed right down again to almost a stop and it did the same. I sped up and turned 180 degrees and watched it turn the same way in the same direction. It turned like in a banked turn as opposed to an instant change of direction on a level plane. I came to a stop and turned the lights out. It sat in the sky in one spot. I couldn't leave the lights off too long because another boat was coming along and passed me going South about 200 feet off my starboard side. I thought the lighted observer might then pick up on the other boat but it stayed still. My wife was feeling a little spooked so we decided to head back to the cottage. During this 5 minute trip our friend stayed with us. We tied up the boat and the object drifted slowly out of our site over the trees.
We went to bed thinking this was quite an experience.What could it have been? Was it some new secret craft the Government was testing and the pilots just wanted to have some fun? Or could it have been a
visit from an extraterrestrial just doing some studies? Who knows.
The next
day I thought maybe I should have tried to signal it in some way. I have a 3 million candle power spot light that I could have shone up towards it or blinked it on and off. It wasn't in the boat at the time so I couldn't do it but I wanted to see how far it would go with either mimmicking our actions or initiating its'own.
We're going back up next weekend so we'll try again to see if we can see it. We'll take a digital video camera.
If you can help try to explain this experience we would certainly appreciate it.

Mississauga ON Summer 2002 approx. 3pm
I was in Mississauga on the 18th floor of a condo, it was approximately 3 pm and I was having a cigarette on the balcony. I only noticed it because I was looking at Pearson airport at the planes. I had no idea what it
was when I saw it, I did stay there for a few minutes after to see if I could see it again, but no luck.
My feeling were of confusion, I have watched several TV shows on UFO's and havent heard of anything similar. The object
looked like a silver ball, I could tell it wasn't too big but big enough to see from a few kilometers away. It looked as if it shot straight up from the ground and after approximately 3 seconds it dissappeared in the clouds.

After reading this issue of the Filer's Files, I submitted my experience to MUFON tonight because my experience happened at almost the same time as one of
the other sightings (near Aurora) and is also in Ontario. I live in Simcoe, Ontario just north of Lake Erie, which is about a 40 minute drive from Brantford where the other report happened. About 11:10 p.m. on June 6, 2002, I stepped out onto my balcony facing west-and looked up into the night sky. A very bright streak of greenish light moved across the sky in silence and disappeared in a second. The ribbon of light moved west at 30 degrees above the horizon. Just shortly after this I saw a plane whose lights very tiny compared to the size of the ribbon of light. Last summer I also saw a white light move slowly o south while on the north shore of Lake Erie. I described it to a neighbor who flies for American Airlines and he said it didn't seem like any plane he knew about. I really appreciate the effort you put into your newsletter. we were sitting in the car and then out of no where, this greenish white egg shaped thing flew accross the sky. it moved too slowly to
be a shooting star, and too fast to be a plane, it sored downward to the ground, in almost a round line; like a semi-circle.

At 3:20am June 3rd a very bright object travelling slowly southwest just south of URSA Major was seen for 20 seconds
At 3:20am June 3rd, a very bright object appeared just south of URSA Major. The bright
object just appeared from
nowhere and glowed very brightly and moving slowly southwest. The object was 2 or 3 times brighter than Jupiter or Venus and was a white/yellowish colour. It stayed bright for only 3 to 5 seconds than faded to a point of light for another 15 seconds untill it disappeared. There was no noise at all. I was with a pet cat and the cat seemed startled as well.

last night i was siting out and enjoying a fire and just watching the stars, when i see what i first thought was a falling star,(from west to
east)..... but what cought my attention was the varing speed at which it travelled moderate to hovering to full boogie) many many times faster than any plane i have ever seen, then it stopped and hovered then sped off, came back west a little, then i could cleary see it go completely verticle in a spiral then headed south. I have never really believed in UFO before last nigt. also i kept a more carefull eye on the sky aftward and noticed about six more very very high speed things all going southernly at one constant speed, and looked like a more straight or direct route,??????.......

I saw a large glowing triangle speed across the sky,
and it was really bright. It kept flashing, but it was huge. Every now and then, huge balls of flame seemed to come out from one of the points of the triangle... it was really freaky!

PM AT MALDEN PARK WINDSOR ONTARIO CANADA ME WITNESS 1 AND WITNESS 2, WE BOTH SEEN A TRIANGLE CRAFT WITH WHITE LIGHTS IN EACH CORNER AND A RED LIGHT IN THE CENTER. WERE NOT SURE IF IT WAS A STEALTH BOMBER OR THE COMMONLY REPORTED TRIANGLE UFO WITNESS 1: I BELIEVE I WAS LOOKING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CRAFT BECAUSE IT WAS TURNING. I WAS LOOKING AT THIS WITH MY TASCO 10X50 BINOCULARS AND MY BAUSCH & LOMB 60X60 DISCOVERER TELESCOPE.
(WITNESS 2:) well I was with WITNESS 1 their were 2 passes and one other air craft that had no sound in the first pass I was just setting up my equipment and I was trying to set up my
equipment a fast as possible I the air craft was coming from east to north west it looked like this and it did not make a sound If it had I would have to say it was a stealth bomber but it was silent and moved like a plane this first sighting was at 9:20 PM - 9: 30 PM and at 10:00 PM a 2nd sighting ocured same style air craft this time I was ready I have a minolta XG1 shot off 6 exposers and hopping that they will turn out I had 400 asa film and i guess this air craft was about 1/2 mile away but looked huge about 200 feet span I could only go by the the smog to get a depth on how far it was the third sighting the air craft looked like example B it had no light on the back of the plane but yet silent I could only get 1 exposer of this one it was about 3/4 mile away and arrived form east to north west just like the others and at the same time other military air craft was passing over head ps: my film was destroid ether poor loading by the heat in my car I found this out when I took it to blacks photo finishing.

Brampton ON May 24th, 4pm
On Friday, May 24, 2002, at 4 p.m., Tony Dickson "was sitting on the back deck" of his home in Brampton, Ontario, Canada (population 268,251), a suburb six miles (10 kilometers) west of Toronto, "just west of Highway 10, just slightly north of the Williams Parkway," when he saw a UFO approach from the north.
"While sitting on my back deck, looking northeast, I spotted a jet way up, about 30,000 feet (9,000 meters), and directly below it at several
thousand feet (approximately 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) at a guess--T.D.) a silver,
reflective, cone-shaped object" that "traveled from north to south at an extremely fast speed, faster than normal jet speeds," he reported, "It was reflecting bright silver to dull. It was very clear, although the bright sunlight was behind me. I wonder if anyone else has seen this other than my wife and I."

At approximately 23:50 on 21 May 2002 I was driving north on Highland Road between Maxville Ontario and highway 417. I noticed some light to the west moving north in a downward direcxtion. The object
was between highway 138 and Highland road over a wooded area. At first I thought it was a meteorite but noticed it left no trail from atmospheric friction. Looking at the object I saw two red lights beside each other with a white light above and between the two red lights. The object then levelled and headed north very quickly. It travelled approximately 20 to 30 kms in about 5 seconds when I lost sight of it due to trees. I am a technical specialist.

Brampton, ON May 10th, 10pm
At least 10 aircraft with very bright lights circling the Brampton area with no set pattern and altitudes.This is the third time we have seen these in the past two weeks.
I observed this a few times in
the last two years and once one was
very low and very large flat craft with flashing lights and no sound there is always a large light in the distance which appears to be stationary. All the craft fly to this light and then everything disappears.
Since this is so
close to Pearson International airport it would seem reasonable that they would know what these are and be monitoring their movements,however in my estimation these are not passenger aircraft.This is happening now as I type this. What this is I have no idea.

Two balls of light with illuminated contrails flying in
formation at a constant altitude and heading.
We were flying west bound 50nm south of Sault Ste Marie Ontario, Canada at FL390. The sky was clear with the odd cloud formation
below us. We noticed at our 1 oclock position, at approx our altitude two balls of light flying towards us. The balls of light were flying in a continuous formation and constant altitude, and each had an illuminated contrail. The lights continued on what seemed to to be a constant heading until they went by our right wing 10-40nm away. As they passed, the second light split into two separate lights, as if up until then one light was obscuring the other. When the lights reached our 5 oclock position they all disappeared. I would estimate that each light was 200-400 feet in diameter, and each contrail was illuminated for 2000-4000 feet. We notified ATC and they had no other aircraft in the area, or anything on radar. Also, another aircraft 100nm behind us at FL280 stated they had seen the same lights. Both myself and the other pilot have been flying for more than 25 years with over 10,000 hours each and neither of us has seen anything like it before.

with the other cockpit crewmember, who submitted a report, as well. Each person has flight time logged that is measured by the tens of thousands of hours, and both of them have decades of experience in the cockpit of an airliner. As witnesses to the event, they are superlative, in our opinion.

"It was Friday
April 26, 2002, time was around 6:45am and I was coming to work in a taxi. I work in the Dufferin and Steeles area. As we were coming to I believe the park's name is G.Ross Lord Park on Dufferin. I was looking out the window into the park and at the clouds in the sky when I noticed it. It was just sitting in the clouds not moving this grey looking object. I knew it wasn't an airplane or a weather balloon and to be honest I wasn't sure what it was. I just keep looking at it hoping to see it move be it didn't. It looked like grey metal and it looked like it might have been square in shape. But it was hard to tell in the clouds it didn't move it just sat there. On Saturday, April 17, 2002, at 12:30 p.m, the male witness was on his lunch break at his workplace near the intersection of Montreal and St. Laurent Roads in Ottawa, when he spotted a strange object approaching. "I was on my lunch break at 12:30 p.m.," he reported, "I looked up to see what looked like a small airplane coming from the northeast. As it got closer, I noticed that it was oval-shaped and changing colour from black to silver. It was rolling or rocking side to side as it changed colour. It was travelling about 300 feet (90 meters) high as it flew behind a cloud and disappeared."

Mississauga/Toronto ON Spring 2002 (no time given)
TORONTO -- Cindy writes, there seems to be more activity up here in Mississauga,
just west of Toronto, than I´ve been aware of in the past. My son and I saw something strange about three weeks ago now. Last night, I struck up a conversation with a couple of ladies in a restaurant. Anyway, they told me that on Saturday night (April 6), they both witnessed an object shoot down from the sky. She said, it was red and after it landed, she saw smoke. She tried to tell her husband about it, but he discounted her. From her description, it sounded like a meteor hit not far from her home.

" Right now I'm still, quite excited, as today I saw a HUGE flying saucer(this is exactly what it looked like) right over downtown Ottawa today at
approximately 2:00pm. I asure you I'm not even joking(and would never fabricate a sighting). I was visiting a friend at a hospital in Hull (Gatineau now), Quebec for the afternoon today. He went back to his
room, to get changed because we were going to go outside for awhile. So
I stayed in the smoking room, with a man that I had talked to a few times before. This smoking room has a panoramic window view of downtown Ottawa, and the hospital is located close to the Ottawa River(cross the street, enter a park and you're there). Anyway, I was sitting there, watching tv, when all of a sudden the man said something to the effect of "what the hell is that flying over there?" I look expecting a kite or something, but it was this massive saucer! It seemed like at first it was hiding in a lower cloud (the sky was cloudy), the it moved towards completely revealing it's self. My view was very clear and amazing. Right there, over downtown Ottawa, was this huge craft! It's colour was dark grey metallic, it's shape was round. It's just, you know, the sort of thing I always read about in UFO sightings. You could call it a classic flying saucer. The sighting lasted for about 30 seconds, when the object disappeared out of view due to part of the hospital blocking the way. It's size was a little bigger than an airliner, there weren't any lights that I saw. I noticed when I last seen it, it was going either north or northwest. It couldn't have been much over 400 ft. above the skyscrapers of downtown Ottawa! This thing had to have been seen by at least .......a lot of people. I'd be VERY surprised if you don't here more about this sighting form other people."

i was outside, when i looked out into the sky an a bright white light was up in the sky. I said "look its a UFO" for a joke then it stoped then went flashing red the took off. it was about 10 seconds long.

long-duration fireball with well-timed sonic booms occurred over southern Ontario" province in Canada.
"Reports have come in from three ground-based observers--two in Michigan (USA) and one in
Ontario."
"The fireball was east
of the Detroit (Michigan)/Windsor (Ontario) area and west of the RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) observer station at Fingal, Ont. The sonic boom delay puts a portion of the trajectory some 65 kilometers (40 miles) west of Fingal. This fireball was also reported by three separate commercial air flights."

I saw a large triangular outline of red and white lights that seemed to hover and then move very slowly pass my car.
I was
driving westbound on the King sideroad and as I approached the traffic lights at Jane St. I saw a large, stationary, triangular object. I could not actually see a solid object but rather the impression of an object was created due to a triangular pattern of lights.
The lights were white, red and a third color (blue or green). The lights seemed to be over a major highway (Hwy 400) so I thought it was a traffic plane. When I stopped at the traffic lights and the
object didn't move I thought it might be a helicopter. It was the large outline (roughly hand size) and the triangular shape that made me wonder if it was in fact something else.
As I left the traffic
lights and continued to the overpass I was able to watch the
object pass from my front to my driver's side window. I was driving very slowly and the object may have been moving very slowly in the opposite direction. I lost sight of the object as I decended the other side of the overpass. All of my window's were closed but my radio was not on. I do not remember hearing any noises.

Burlington ON Feb. 13, 2002 9pm
Was out smoking on the porch and noticed an X shape high in the sky, hardly visible until it looked to have burst into flames. Quickly flew down far in the distance, with a white flash, no sound was heard.

We came out of a clothing store on Mavis Road in the north part of Mississauga, my son my wife and my sons friend, were getting into our
car when we all (except my wife who was already entered the car) saw an amazingly bright green/blue fireball. It dropped for about 15 seconds from what must have been a great height. It caught our attention because at first it was so small (a pin prick of light) yet amazingly bright, as it dropped/moved downwards it got bigger and very much brighter, it hurt your eyes to look at it. We were almost under the approach path to Toronto Intl. planes were stacked up in a line approaching the airport, this was much higher than the planes. Ultimately it became a bit bigger than the size of a dime at arms length. It dropped from a height of about 80 degrees to approx 30 degrees in a spastic jerking manner, this took from 12 to 18 seconds. This was not a firework or a flare, the colour was truly very odd, just before it disappeared it moved/jeked sideways and flashed a blindingly bright orange colour, then nothing. We discussed it amongst ourselves afterwards and feel it must have been something burning up as it entered the atmosphere, but as to why it should jerk around and twitch as it fell, we can only speculate

MY DAUGHTER LIVES 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SMALL TOWN OF ESSEX ONT. SHE WALKED INTO HER KITCHEN OVER TO THE SINK AND HAPPENED TO GLANCE OUT HER WINDOW. THERE
ARE TWO FIELDS BETWEEN HER FARMHOUSE AND THE NEIBOROUGH(ABOUT1/4 MILE)SEPERATED BY A DIRT ROAD. WHAT SHE SAW WAS THREE SMALL DAZZELIGLY BRIGHT LIGHTS THAT WERE CLOSE TOGETHER ABOUT 20 FT. ABOVE
THE GROUND ABOUT 30 FT. INTO THE FIELD NORTH OF HER MAIN ROAD.BELOW THESE BRIGHT LIGHTS, CLOSE TO THE GROUND WAS FAIRLY NARROW BUT VERY WIDE BAND OF RAINBOW COLORED PASTEL LOOKING LIGHT, THAT SEAMED TO FLOW FROM LEFT TO RIGHT.
WHAT EVER IT WAS SEEMED TO KNOW SHE WAS LOOKING AT IT BECAUSE IT STARTED FLOATING ACROSS THE DIRT ROAD AND ACROSS HER FIELD TOWARDS
HER HOUSE. SHE WAS FROZEN TO THE SINK WITH FEAR. SHE COULD NOT MAKE OUT ANY SHAPE BECAUSE OF IT BEING SO DARK AND THE LIGHTS BEING SO BRIGHT. BUT SHE FELT THAT IT WAS HUGE. FIFTY FEET WIDE OR SO BY 20 FT TALL.SHE HEARD NO SOUND. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AND THE THING WAS GONE.

ABOUT THE EVENT THE NEXT MORNING ON SAT. FEB. 03/02 AND HER LAND LADY TOLD HER THAT HER AND HER HUBAND(THEY LIVE TO THE EAST SIDE AND BEHIND MY DAUGHTER)SAW THE SAME THING IN THE MID 90'S SHORTLY AFTER MOVING THERE, WHICH LEFT WOVEN CROP CIRCLES IN THE SUMMER WHEAT FIELD.
THE FARMER THAT OWNED THE (SAME FIELD MY DAUGHTER FIRST SAW THE LIGHTS IN)PLOUGHED UP THAT FIELD 2 DAYS LATER.
THIS GETS INTERESTING. ON SUNDAY NIGHT, TWO DAYS AFTER MY DAUGHTER'S EXPERIENCE THE LAND LADY WENT TO THE BARN TO
FEED HER ANIMALS AND NOTICED LIGHT COMMING INTO THE BARN WINDOW. WHEN SHE LOOKED OUT SHE SAW THE SAME THING MY DAUGHTER HAD SEEN, BUT IT ONLY HAD TWO LIGHTS ON TOP THAT SHE COULD SEE. THIS TIME THE LIGHTS WERE FARTHER BACK IN THE FIELD. THEY TOO STARTED MOVING TOWARDS HER BARN AS IF KNOWING SOMEONE WAS WATCHING THEM. SHE ABSOLUTELY FREAKED OUT AND RAN TO THE HOUSE TO CALL 911. THREE ESSEX POLICE CARS RESPONDED TO THE CALL. THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING, BUT TOLD HER TO HAVE A CAMERA READY AND TO CALL RIGHT AWAY IF IT RETURNED. AFTER THE POLICE LEFT SHE CALLED MY DAUGHTER(WHO SAW THE POLICE CARS)AND TOLD HER THAT THE "THE BASTARDS ARE BACK".SHE THEN TOLD HER WHAT HAPPENED.THIS IS NOT A HOAXAND IS TOLD TO YOU EXACTLY AS IT WAS TOLD TO ME..THANK YOU.

boomerange shaped, white, red lights, no noise heard, rose straight up from behind trees
it was about 9:00 OR 9:30pm my boyfriend and i went out to
look at the stars as we often do, he had the binoculars for about 2min when i heard him gasp i asked him what it was and he just pointed, so i looked and i almost couldnt believe what i saw, there was an object with bright lights accending from the tree`s when it got above the trees it just hovered there for about a minute or two then it slowly (i know this sounds out of the ordinary)flew above the house making no noise, although the wind seep rose, and just as it was over the house it picked up speed and within a minute or less it was out of sight. the ufo was triangular shaped more along the lines of the shape of a boomerang it was extremely dark out so i couldnt catch a specific colour but i would say it was black or grey and the lights were something else they were white alonge the top and one red one on the bottom, idrew a picture of the spacecraft but dont know how to send it in. thank you for your time just needed to tell someone who wouldnt think i was crazy.

lights in a seemingly semi-circle pattern; an 'X' outline on the vessels underbelly with white lights and a red light
I was partying at a friend's
house on Friday January 18. Everyone had fallen asleep by about 5:00AM and i was the only one left awake . I decided to clean up my friend's rather attrocious house and this required taking the garbage outside to the garbage bin. It was a somewhat clear night with only a few clouds in the sky. There wasn't anyone up and the streets were silent. As I placed the garbage bags into the bin I noticed a bright light far away on the horizon. I remember only glancing at the sight as I assumed it was merely a plane or chopper. It should be noted that I had previously been a skeptic when it came to UFO sightingings. As I turned to enter the house the light began an unbelievable ascent into the sky. I say unbelievable because of the rate at which the object could climb. It was at this very moment that I first entertained the notion of this vessel being an unidentified flying object. The light seemed to be emanating from one source but if I glanced away for the briefest moment the light appeared to be made up of mutiple lights that were arranged in a semi-circle pattern. The object had risen to an enormous height in the sky and I thought it was going to disappear into the night when suddenly it began a descent with the velocity at which it had previously risen. I remember a feeling of fright coming over me. As a rational person I was terrified at the notion that something inexplicable could exist, and yet here it was before me. The object appeared to be coming in my direction as it descended. I lost sight of the object for a second and then it re-appeared directly overhead. I estimate it must have been about a mile-and-a-half above the ground. It sliced through the clouds effortlessly and as soon as it had appeared overhead, it was gone. The underpannel was marked with an 'X' and had white lights outlining this shape. There appeared to be a red light moving around the object in a circular pattern. I remember hearing a low buzzing sound that accompanied the vessel as it flew overhead. ! I was co mpletely overwhelmed and spent the remainder of the morning debating whether i had actually seen what i had thought i had seen and whether or not it would be worth telling anyone at all.

Bright light splitting to 3 lights "blitzing".
Me and my wife were in my porch, when she told me to come quickely. Then i saw her looking up in the
sky,
i looked up to see what she was looking at. I then saw a bright orange circle suddenly, very quickely, it splited into 3 other circles. The three Circles sort of floated in the air, suddenly one of them "blitzed" to the left, and left a bright tail. around 3 seconds later, the other two circles "blitzed", but to the other side, one, a little farther then the other. The buildings blocked us from seeing any further. It was something I've never seen. Very interesting.

We spotted red and green light in the sky. Pulled the car over and got out to observe. The object was quite low coming closer and lower you could see it in a spinning manover one way it would flash a bright red glow the other way it would flash green.It slowly started to move away the light would cahnge to a whiteish yellow light. As it moved away it got higher and you could see the red and green glow flashing then it disappeared.
