2003 Ontario UFO Sightings

Princeton Ontario - Oxford County                      Dec 26th/27th 2003 First noticed 9pm

"My husband Bob was returning from doing chores at the barn and came into the house and told me to grab the binoculars and come and see this thing in the sky... I went out and looked and saw a circle with lights all around it flashing which is also what he saw..we then went next door to my mother-in-laws because she had bigger binoculars and looked with them and saw the same thing.. It stayed in one spot yet moved around erratically and would turn on its side. then we called some neighbours about a 1mile and a half down the road because they have a telescope and they got it out and looked and saw the same thing although even with that telescope they also could not see it clearly.. but in fact did see all the lights going around this object and they did see it moving as well.. And I should also mention that the lights on this thing in the sky were able to be seen with the naked eye as well..you didnt need binoculars and it was also there the next night as well in exactly the same spot. we thought at first it was maybe a satellite but then we know that they move around and dont stay in one place. We were a little freaked out by the whole experience. "

Our personal thank you to the witnesses for this report.

I was driving to work in the early hours of the morning. The street I drive on Bronte st. has very little lights in areas of it. There is also a known air travel for planes. But I looked up and this plane was not a plane it had no blinking coloured lights. And it looked somewhat like a fat plane sideways but much much bigger, with 3 bright lights. How it moved had me staring at it, I almost pulled over. It was slow and just hovering, waiting. It would go up and then down, and then after a few minutes I seen to other objects in the morning sky. These were planes Jets, heading towards it at opposite sides. The UFO, quickly just disappeared leaving the two jets just to cross eachother. I felt as if I was crazy, I just seen a UFO, and two jets trying to get to it. Wow. I am still in awe at what I seen. At least now I know. NO matter who tells me that can be easily explained, honestly that one can not be, this was way too huge, too high and too low in the sky and far to quick.

I received an email from a gentleman today, December 6, 2003 in which he explains both in an email and in a video clip of what he witnessed. I also telephoned the witness to find out a little more about the sighting. I had a nice conversation with him, and he went on to explain exactly what he saw. On December 5, 2003 (in the video clip the witness tells that the sighting took place on December 6, 2003. The sighting actually took place on December 5, 2003, a simple mix mistake) he saw a pair of unknown objects at 5:43 p.m. while out Barbecuing. When he noticed the two objects, his first thought was a couple of satellites were flying side by side. But he starting thinking this was really strange looking because one of the objects would quickly move past the other, then the object which then followed behind, would make the same moment and fly up a head of the other. The witness said it looked as if they were racing across the sky as each one tried to pass the other. He mentioned that the speed of these two unknowns was incredible as both moved so very quickly. The two objects eventually went into a cloud bank and disappeared. They were a very bright orange in color. An example he gave for the color and size of the two objects were that of the brightness and size of the planet Mars when it was at it's closet to earth.

The fellows son, at a different location from where his Dad was saw a single unknown object traveling south at a low rate of speed, it quickly sped up and was gone. The reported time for the son's sighting was between 5:50 - 5:55 p.m.

Thank you to the Dad and son for their reports. Also the video clip will be placed to my website once the new site is completely sometime after Christmas. There are tons of updates and new material to be posted at that time.

Guelph ON                                                            Nov. 19th 5:30pm approx.

I was walking through a wooded area near my home - I walk with my dog in this area nearly every evening. It was between 17:30 and 18:00 hrs., and I had stopped to search the sky for meteorites. Although I am not even a very amateur astronomer I do enjoy looking at the night sky through my binoculars, and I try to keep track of upcoming celestial events, such as allignments, eclipses and the recent close pass of the planet Mars. Anyway, on this particular night I was hoping to catch sight of the tail end of the Leonids, as it had been far too overcast on the previous two nights to see anything. Suddenly, I was aware of a large, V-shaped craft coming from the Southern sky. I was immediately struck by the fact that, although there appeared to be no lights of any kind on it, I could see the object very clearly. It seemed to be giving off light but there was no halo or aura visible. As it came closer, i.e. moved overhead in a direction that was almost due North, I could see how fast it was moving, and that it wasn't a large craft at all, but rather several smaller, bronze or copper-coloured eliptical-shaped objects flying in a V-formation. As I watched, and I had an excellent view of it for at least ten seconds, some of the crafts flying on the right hand arm of the V started to change places within the formation, while keeping the V-shape intact and maintaining a constant speed. I couldn't believe how fast and maneuverable they appeared to be as they moved around within the V; I have seen many acrobatic air teams perform and no aircraft I have ever seen could move like these did. These craft seemed to be flying at about the same height of a small plane like a Cessna. We have a small airfield nearby and we are on the approach path for Pearson International in Toronto, so I am very familiar with the many ways aircraft can appear in the night sky. I also was struck by the fact that there was absolutely no sound emanating from them as they flew overhead. I watched the formation as i! t flew overhead and out of sight over the Northern horizon. However, there seemed to be an unusually large number of aircraft in the area on this night, and the buzz of the small aircraft engines and the whine of the larger jets approaching from the Southwest were making rather a large din and could have drowned out any noise it was making.

I probably wouldn't have reported this sighting except that I saw this exact object in the night sky almost one year ago. I was in my backyard at the time, again scanning the night sky for constellations, when it flew overhead from the Southwest.

"One night, around November 17, 2003 I believe, I was gazing up the sky over Toronto at around 3am. I saw a large cylindrical flow of white cloudy smoke moving rapidly from east to west. It then concentrated itself before reemerging as a large blue explosion. I have never seen anything like this before, and it definitely did not look like a natural phenomenon or trick of light on the eyes. It was massive, and seemingly moving at light speed. Did anyone else see this?"

London ON                                                            Nov 8th 8pm

I am the partner to the person who filed the anon report from London Ontario on this date, I am willing to be contacted after being informed by my partner that other reports of a similiar behaving object were also reported on this date in the geographic area at on or around the same time.

It was just before the full eclipse, I know the time approx from reading prior when the full point was to be reached just after 8pm local. It was in the final of eclipse. I had been outside in a dark area of the yard, I had been observing the moon, mars in the south, air traffic, and was looking also for sattelites by this time, which i have several times seen after my eyes get adjusted. Looking east at the moon, at a point 10 degree south and 1 o'clock high to my position i detected movement very far up, at first i filtered it out cause it was unlike any other movement i have seen in the sky before. I had nothing to compare this too and initially dismissed it. It came from very high up, outside the atmosphere i would have to say. It moved oddly..a translucent trail..it shifted/wobbled/fluttred its way to a point se at 30 degree altitude and settled a few degrees lower. I have observed aircraft since a child at boing feild in Renton, seen the harrier, sr-71, f-18's tail dance on the tarmac at airshows, and i recall being unable to identify what i was seeing cause i had no real world anything to compare it too. I was thinking..thats not civilian, and then out loud to my partner I said "Is that military?" Can you see that thing, Can you see it? and she responded to an affirmative, and she asked what is it" and i replied i dont know, keep your eyes on it. I was standing all this time and i forced myself to move so as to take bearing on it. I was having difficulty judging its size. It was either footballs feilds in size about a mile away or Really big farther away. I noticed two things right away. the whole area...just lost sound and when i made sound it went into the direction of the craft. WHat I saw was the Back end of a craft. There was a length to it forward that i was unable to get clear veiw of, but the back end of it showed as a wide thick rectangle. there were three round areas spaced evenly apart where light of changing hot colours emitted on the extreme ends, twinkling. I could see detail of the ! structure. the surface showed no indication of conformance to aerodynamic principles of smoothness, intead it showed angular extruded surfaces. It was white surfacing. The craft reminds me of battlestar galactica craft it was flatish white and some areas were highly illuminated. The whole craft semed to shift and then it could be seen sitting where it was, or its lights went off, like it blinked or the light was bending/flashing around it. There was more than one moment where everything was black and just the six round hot lights in the sky and I thought of ballons when i realized this craft was floating in the air stationary. It took over a minute for it to come down from up high and settle where i could see itlike this and I got to see it like this for about 10 seconds at least. It did a wiggle quite visibly and it started to ease forward and then it darted ahead, I called out behind me " It's leaving" to my partner and sked if she was seeing it taking off and she said yes. this craft was big, very big for us to have observed it as it travelled across the southern most/east, or south portion of the sky. It increased speed in jerk and I exclaimed verbally how fast it was and got a ya from my partner. It sped south and then angled/deflected west into clouds or ?. About a minute or two later a thing i have also never seen before came flying at low angle from the east. It was bright, lite yellow/white glowing object in or out of the clouds the light of it showed, it was not round but an angled shpe of "glow". it travelled in a straight line. I was moving accross the horizon so fast i puzzled if it was up close, I accept the fact that this was a large object far away travelling at very high speed. I felt rather than heard its passing, it was radiating but not at what my ears pick up maybe. i think,it too did something to the sound. It travelled from east to west like the first craft and was gone.. We waited outside listening and looking. The moon was gone and the area was now clouding over and after anothe! r 10 minutes went inside to warm, my partner started to talk about it and i said stop, you go draw what you saw and ill go draw what i saw.

We drew and had saw the same rectangular object, we both agreed it had fluttred down. She clearly recognized it to be machinery/craft, but was unsure initially of size and distance. we both saw the same set of three lights and the rectangle backend of the craft and some structure forward. When the craft moved forward the pair of three round ligt areas remained constant in spread apart and facing direction.

We kept asking ourselves if we had just seen what we had seen. And the answer was always yes, we were not intoxicated and the drawings proved to us we had both seen the object, which I cannot deny was clearly an intelligent or purposeful moving craft that I SAW come down from very high up hover and do a systems check or something and then move south in quickening/blink/shudders/hops forward. My Partner is a Doctoral Candidate in information sciences, I am a late 30's software consultant with a background in oilfeild exploration and commercial diving. I have good eyesight. I know that what i saw was big, came from way high up, hovered so i could see the round engine ports of some sort, and that after a breif time, it moved out at very fast speed. It was soooo obviously a space craft that i was left knowing somehow that I am primitive, stuck on a planet of socially primitive beings. Additional details and impressions. I saw or had sense that a number of things or objects were moving around in the air, but got no clear site of them if there were, but feelings that i get when bats or birds or bees, mosquitos, came up at the time and i tried scanning a bit with my eyes, the returned to trying to focus on the craft, which could be only for a second before it twinkled, blacked out or twisted light around itself. I also felt scanned, or as if i was being watched, that is a clear unmistakable fact that i felt that, and we both expressed the fact to each other of having felt it..being looked at.

When the second craft, the glowing object, I gotta confess, I was all senses lit up and very spooked and ready. I kept us outside, quiet for long enough to establish that there wasnt imediate nearby detctable action then went in and did best to establish to myself what i had seen. After we agreed that what we saw was a spaceship, we both got quiet, she went onto the internet, I made some more checks on the night sky that was now cloudy, then sat down and went over everything I had just saw.

I am known to have a photographic memory. We both know what we saw and we are both wondering what kindof peoples are we that interplanetary society is ignoring us, or blatantly moving about so. We are evaluating everything we know in respect of implications on our ...human society with respect to why a clearly advanced society or intelligence is not being acknowledged in our common daily understanding or is about the planet and ignoring us. Are we observed to be unsociable? Clearly this planet was visited by a spaceship on the above date and time, it is now a fact that I am going to have to live with. Being as I am relatively young something tells me that this is not the last time that I will have direct knowledge of these objects, and the implications will some how be made manifest.

I also realize now that the object moved in such ways that my brain kept trying to interject that it was not there, as it moved in speeds/shifts that i had no prior knowledge to confirm it too. I am confident now that having the experience that i can anticipate the movements of these objects and tune an movementy awareness for them, much like training the eyes to see sattellites as opposed to aircraft or stars.

Rectangular shape, white, fluttered out of a cloud, descended, then sped off very quickly.

My partner and I were outside watching the lunar eclipse. He was standing, I was seated. A large cloud was moving in just prior to the total eclipse. I saw what I thought was a large bird fluttering down from the cloud. I followed it as it slowed, and turned to see if I could identify what large bird it might be. It was very bright, a rectangular shape, like a row of white vanity lights over a bathroom mirror. My partner counted 2 sets of three lights. It seemed to have some sort of rod sticking out the front. My partner called to me to see if I was watching it. He kept exclamining aloud and it seemed almost to sense us and fly away very fast and very smooth. It headed south and then curved west. It seemed to change shape and texture when it curved. It seemed almost translucent and plastic-like. Still a rectangular shape. It just disappeared. It seemed to suck in the sound around us as the entire event was very very quiet. More quiet than quiet.

Burst of green glowing light in the night sky

what i saw i don't really think it was a ufo, but i know it was something!! I was driving down the hwy 427 north in toronto canada, towards the meeting of hwy 401 east. The time was at 21:00hrs and there was two witnesses in the car at the time of the sighting. What was in the sky was a burst of glowing green light and then it flew through the sky till the light burned out. It was almost as if it seemed comparable to a falling star or a comet because of it's speed in the night sky.

I've tried to listen to the news for any comments on the occurance but i've heard nothing. So i'm wondering what it could be? It might have been something burning, and in our orbit? I don't really follow too much space stuff but one thing i know for sure i'm telling the truth and i know what i saw and what i saw is not normal to me.

So maybe you might be able to help me solve this mystery, any guidence that would lead me in the right way to solving this unknown sighting would be greatly appreciated.

Hamilton ON                                  October 31st 7pm

Oddly lit large craft over Hamilton at or shortly after 7pm on Halloween.

In response to the report from BC on this date. I actually was checking to see if anyone saw what I saw on the same night in Hamilton, Ontario. I saw a similar craft, from a great distance (at least four miles), over Hamilton on Haloween night (friday). There were thousands of people in the streets at this time, so others may report it. At first I thought it was an airplane, as there is an airport in Hamilton. However, this craft was lighted all along the length of the craft, unlike an airplane, and it had some blue, red and white lights, flashing, within the overall white/blue light of the craft. It struck me right away that this may be an aircraft..but I've never seen one lit up like that before, and we have them here all the time. I attempted to get to a better vantage point quickly, but had to proceed with caution since the streets were filled with children. When I got there, the object was gone. Our airplanes do not have blue lights? Our airplanes do not light up so you can see them at night...only their nav lights and headlamps. Aura is a very good description of the type of lighting I observed.

I saw a saucer shaped object with red blue and yellow lights above a cornfield one night on my drive home from work.

I was driving home from work on October 23, 2003, when I saw two bright lights in the distance above a corn field. I first I thought it was a plane, but as I got closer I began to see more lights that went in a circular shape. The lights were red, blue and yellow. It was really low and I could see the bottom of the saucer shaped object as I got closer. It was too low and to quiet to be a plane. I just watched it because I was too scared to get out or my car to get a better look. Since I was almost home I watched it through the side window of my car and when I got home I jumped out and ran inside completely shaken up!

Richmond Hill ON                   Oct. 18th approx 12am

Last Night - October 18, 2003 just before midnight. I saw a light travel through the sky from my southern exposure window located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

I have travelelled extensively throughout Canada and the United states as well as travelling to Europe on occasion. In other words somewhat experienced  with travel and planes.

This evening I was staring out the window in a night of insomnia. I saw an oval light, quite bright and yellowish white in colour travel horizontally accross the scpoe of my window. The light travelled at an extremely high speed, a speeed that I immediately understood not to be of normal airplane speed.

We ' ve all seen the passenger lpan flying over head. It usually is travelling at about 6 or 700 miles per hour and usually over 30,000 ft. From this distance a plane is easily trackable and seems quite slow from your vantage point. Having flown in a cesna 172 at 2500 feet you might experience the same amount of sky coverage to your eye given the speed and perspective.

What I saw I have to report as very different from what I am very used to seeing. The oval light very much the colour of a car headlight Travelled at a speed at  which I have never witnessed before and at a hieght that I estimate to be between 2500 and 5000 feet. I would have to estimate the speed at about 5000 miles per hour given my own experience with speeds travelled. The other peculiarity of this sighting is that there was no sound. Our area is very often travelled by planes looping for their turn to land at Lester B. Pearson Airport (YYZ).

The night was a drizzley night and I immediately thought the light must be a reflection from a vehicle passing by. I rose from my bed to look from my window to try to find an explanation for the light. There was nothing that I coulld see that would immediately explain what I just saw. I understand that reflection speed of objects can be multiplied based on their proximity to objects. I could not eliminate this in my own mind.

So - I find myself completely puzzled as to  what I may have seen. Not even a Lear jet  flying at 2500 feet could cover the amount af real estate that this thing travelled.

Our personal thank you to the witness for this report. We would be interested in hearing from anyone else whom may have witnessed this. uforeports@pararesearchers.org

Bolton ON      October 13th 8:15pm

Same object I've reported on Aug.28th. This time I seen it in Bolton. Off of HWY#50 approx 14 km north of HWY#7. Was with my brother looking at the night sky and saw the same star like object moving north. Once again we both stood perfectly still and noticed that it did not fly in a straight path but wobbled. No flashing lights at all and definatly not a satelite because it was going to fly between two stars and we noticed it wobble and slow down as the stars were in the background. The object turned right and headed east. We watched it until it faded out of site.

Several days ago I noticed another star like object. This time brighter than any star. It was so bright that it looked like a ball of plasma, pure white. Heading south then turned and flew eastbound. Again, no flashing lights as an aiplane would have. I was on the phone with a friend and he also witnessed the object as we talked.

I saw the object in the Keele/HWY#7 area. He saw it from Jane st./Major Mackenzie. ( a few intersections n/w from my location)

Mississauga ON   October 13th 7am

My wife was travelling to the gym when a red fiery object broke through the cloud layer. My wife described the object as being a red-orange fireball, with a noticable smoke trail. The object descended from a height of approximately 15,000-20,000 feet. The object descended for a period of about two minutes while she drove to the health club. She parked the car and went into the health club and brought out an attendant to witness the object. The object was visible for another ten seconds before it went behind the tree line. The impact point would likely have been Lake Ontario. No impact sound or vibration was felt by either witness.

I showed my wife the picture of the recent UK fireball and she attests that her sighting was identical.

((
NUFORC Note: The object almost certainly was not a meteor, if, in fact, the witness observed the object for 3 minutes. Our next guess would be that she witnessed a high-altitude contrail, which was brightly illuminated by the rising sun. PD))

Triangular "v"-shaped object with 3 lights that looked like a plane and slowly descended in a downward "zig-zag" motion

I was staying at a friend's house sleeping on a couch in their living room in front of a long panel window. I was periodically waking up throughout the night. The phone rang once which awakened and startled me. I sat up slightly, looked at the VCR and saw that the time was 4:37 a.m. Some flickering lights caught my eye and I sat up some more and looked out the window. I saw a triangular "v"-shaped object with three lights, 2 red on each corner and one white light in the middle. It looked like a plane, however I noticed that the object was moving strangely, slowly descending downward in a "zig-zag" motion. I began to feel a sharp pain in my heart and sat paralyzed looking at the object for what seemed to be 3 minutes. I lowered my body onto the couch and started praying to God, which was very unusual because I don't usually practice religion. After lying there for a few seconds, I sat up again and looked out the window and the object had disappeared. Eventually I went back to sleep but I did not sleep well. My friend told me in the morning that she had answered the phone around 4:30 a.m. and that there was no one on the other end. There was no number on the call display and it seemed like an odd coincidence that the phone had rang at that specific moment in time.

Woodstock ON           Sept. 18th 10:45pm

Last night (Thursday Sept. 18th 2003) at around 10:45pm I was driving with my girlfriend on a dark country road about ten minutes south of Woodstock Ontario and saw something I cannot explain. We came over a hill and at first I thought it was the lights of a farm behind the trees but as we got closer we saw a bright orange/gold triangular shape in the distance(Like a teepee with the top cut off) I said "Look at the moon it looks amazing". But it was not the moon. It was huge and we saw it from a distance. We stopped and looked at it and it seemed to move farther away and change to more of a rectangular shape but it never once lost the vibrant colour. The colour was like the sun rising or setting but not so bright it hurt your eyes. It didn't pulsate either it was just consistent the whole time. I drove towards it. It was straight ahead of us. I could see it out in the field maybe a mile or two. I could see trees silhouetted in front of it at points. We sat still and watched it for a couple of minutes. It than seemed to get smaller so we decided to follow it over towards 59 highway. As I got over to the highway It was on our right horizon and I lost sight of it behind a hill for 30 seconds but as we came out at the highway it was straight ahead of us again but smaller. I think it must have been farther away by than. It was a weird rectangle. Then it looked like it compressed into this little sliver of light grew again for one second than shrunk back to the sliver and than in to a little ball and disappeared. We drove over towards where it looked like it had been but saw nothing even close to that. It was not moving around erratic it was smooth and calm and didn't even look like it was moving until we got closer and it was in a different spot. The whole thing took place over about ten minutes and it was like nothing I have ever seen in all my years of living here. It was not the moon or stars or any type of aircraft I know.

Two oval circles splitting into four at times

We witnessed what first appeared to be two oval lights both circling each other. The two oval lights then appeared to 'double themselve' and break into four at times and become two again very quickly. In some areas of the sky it was cloudy, but we noticed that the lights would continue on, whether they were on top of the clouds or on the clear portions of the sky, so we concluded it couldn't have been 'lightning'. We also concluded that the sophistication of the movement patterns at times were too controlled to have been spots of lightning, as the lights would go in perfect cirles at 180 degrees from each other, and then one would catch up with the other and they appeared to almost be dancing. The colour of these objects was white and we watched them for forty minutes, before retiring. I don't know how much longer they were were visible after that. My friend is quite a skeptic around these matters, so for her to have seen them as well proves I wasn't 'seeing things'.

We were staying at the Canisby camping grounds in Algonquin Park, and one clear crisp night we (all 4 of us) decided to walk down to the beach to watch the stars. It must have been close to midnight, and the sky was completely clear and all the stars were blazing bright.
We walked down and stood on the beach for a while looking up and watch everything. A few shooting stars had gone over head and so we were really watching closely for anything .
I had looked over to the ridge of hills on the far left side of the lake and I thought there was a radio tower with a flahing light on top of it.
I pointed it out and then we realized that the light was far too high above the ridge to be a tower.
The light wasn't moving and there was no sound at all.
It was flashing white, red and green, but did not move or get smaller or larger..
We actually stood looking at it for a few minutes trying to figure out what it could be. And then to the right of the lake the full moon had come out from behind a small cloud, we all moved further down the beach to look over at it.
About 10 mins later when we were about to leave the beach and go back to our camp, I looked back over to the ridge and the lights were gone completely. There wasn't time enough for it to fly away, if it was an airplane, we still would have seen it. The sky was so clear that any direction it would have gone we would have been able to track it,,, but the sky was clear.

Lanark/Beckwith ON       Late Aug./Early September

One night, a buddy and myself were heading from Perth into Ottawa for a night at the bar. It was approximatly 10 pm, when we had left, and I believe it was sometime in late August to early September of this year(2003). As we were about ten km's away from Carleton Place, my lights suddenly went out. I was fairly upset, and decided to drive on to Carleton Place, as I thought that maybe only a fuse or something may have blown.(Mind you, I still had fog lights, which were not strong, but you could still somewhat see)
When in Carleton Place, I had bought new headlights, both high beams, and low. I checked all of the fuses, which I could find nothing wrong. I came to the conclusion that I would turn around and head home for the night. At this point it was nearing around 11:30 pm to sometime around Midnight. I decided to take the "back" way home, because I did not want to get pulled over by the police for not having headlights. I took a road called Tennyson(*sp) that links up to another road that comes out on HWY 15. (I apologize for not knowing the name of the line that turns into Tennyson)
This beginning of this road (about 10 km) is very straight, with the first 5 km's having houses along the side, and the latter being swamp on both sides. I began driving down the road at a lot slower pace than usual due to not being able to see. I was gonig about 50km/h in an 80 zone taking it fairly easy. As I was still in the straight stretch where the houses were, I could see in the sky where the swamp would be, two large lights in the sky. They were a brilliant white, not blinding or anything, but bright. As I kept driving closer, it appeared the object had not moved and inch, and I jokingly said to my buddy, what do you think that is ? A UFO ? Little to my knowledge, It could have well been one. As I approached the swamp area, the "object" was still in the same spot as it had been when I was ten Km's away(give or take a few feet obviously) I came about 50 metres away from it, and I noticed that all I could see were the two same lights. No red or green lights you would normally see on the wings of a plane or the tail of a helicopter. Also, the "object" was about twice the hieght of the trees. (About three Telephone poles high. I apologize as I am not good with distance or height)
As I came to a complete stop I notciced it was still hoveringjust over the swamp to the right of me. About 20 - 30 feet in. It was definatly not an Airplane, as it was too low, and could not have sat as still as this thing was. I also knew it was not a Helicopter, as you would have heard the noise that it makes and the breeze that a helicopter would make at that low to the ground. If I recall correctly, there was no noise at all. At the same time that I came to a complete stop, the craft began to move. As I stayed parked it moved about 30km/h down the road about half a KM. I thought that it was very strange, and didn't really think too much of it, as all of this time was passing by fairly quickly. When the "object" was about half a KM down the road I began to drive again, however, I kept my eye on it in my rear view mirror. As I started moving again, this time I was about just less than half a Km further down the road, the "object" made its way back to the spot where it had originally been. I stopped imediatly again, and bizzare as it may sound, the craft did the same thing again....slowly moving away and as i started driving , it went back to the same spot.....I thought it was very erie, and decided to take off down the road, and pretend it never happened. Needless to say I have only driven that road once since it happened, and I did not get a very good feeling driving down it. I am just hoping someone else may have seen or heard something in that area around the same time.
Sorry that my account is not gramatically great, or the story I told may jump around and be hard to follow, but i am trying to explain first hand what I remember.

Toronto ON                                                                   September 6th 11pm

At about 11:00 pm on September 6 2003 my wife and I were walking our dog by the lake at Queen and Woodbine in Toronto. I had been looking at Mars and the Moon with a pair of binoculars, when just to the east, above the treeline, I noticed three white pulsing lights. I looked again through my binoculars and noticed that these lights were changing colors quite rapidly from white to amber to pink to purple then yellow and white again. The lights formed a triangle shape. I was amazed at what I was seeing and called my wife over to witness it as well. She was amazed also . The object stayed stationary about 30 seconds, not making a sound, and then just turned and headed north, disappearing, almost as soon as my wife got a good look at it. About 40 minutes later, we saw what we think was the same object moving rapidly north just above the treeline.

Our personal thanks to the witness for this report. This event is currently under investigation.

London ON                                                                    August 22nd 10:30pm

It was the night of Friday, August the 22nd, 2003. My friend and I were in my backyard just talking and watching the stars waiting for a bunch of friends to arrive so we could all go out. The time was around 10:30 when i had noticed the lights in the sky. Up until that point I had noticed a couple of shooting stars but these lights were different. When i looked up I first noticed them appear right above my house but I couldn't tell you the distance at which they were at. There were 5 large lights in a V-shape form traveling from south towards the north. I know what the planes look like in the sky, and helicopters as well since I've seen a lot of them but this was totally different. The lights were really big and had a really bright colour. As soon as i saw this, i told my friend to look up and i was pointing to the lights so he could notice because they were traveling at a great speed and i knew they would be out of our sight really fast. Neither I or him could believe how fast these light flew over us and were gone into the distance. They didn't make any noise nor could I see any triangular shape form around them since they were formed in a V-shape object. If you could reply back and tell me if there is some explanation for this, or if this is seen often by others I would really appreciate it.

Our personal thanks to the witness for this report.

North Bay, ON                                                        August 6th, 12:32 a.m.

HBCC UFO Note: Before I start I would like to thank Mr. Joe McGonagle at www.ufology.org.uk for passing along this sighting to me for investigation. Without Joe being kind enough to send the report, we may have lost this one.

HBCC UFO Note: I telephoned the witness today (August 8, 2003) at his home in North Bay Ontario. The fellow was kind enough to share what he and two other friends had witness on August 8, 2003 at 12:32 a.m. Also I will be hearing from the other two witnesses who were there. I will update the sighting with their information after I receive it. Also pictures are going to be emailed to me so one might determine what this thing was. The witness I talked with said he has the pictures already developed and had them handy when chatting with me. He also mentioned that the pictures did not come out all that well, but you can still see something sitting in the night sky.

The witness told me that he and a couple of close friends had just dropped off one of their buddies. As they continued down the road they came to a full stop at the street light. The witness I talked with said while at a complete stop he turned his head to the right and saw a really strange object, he then pointed in the direction the object was sitting to alert his friends what he was looking at. All the fellows at this point were stunned at what they were seeing, so they pulled the vehicle over at an arcade business to watch. Due to this object being so low they wondered if it was attached by a cable, wire, etc.. because it sat stationary in one position. At this point they grabbed the camera, got out of the vehicle and took three snap shots of it.

He told me while they stood watching the object it started to pulsate then disappeared, or blinked out. The object was sitting at approx: 250 feet (or close guess) off the ground, it was also very close to the witnesses as they estimated it to be about 6 to 7 blocks away from their position. It was cigar shaped, and solid grey in color. The total viewing time was approx: 3 to 5 minutes after they first spotted it. Also I was told that stood out from everything around them, meaning it wasn't extremely bright, but you couldn't miss it sitting in the air. I asked if any sound could be heard coming from it, the witness told me they could hear a very faint humming sound after the object blinked out. The skies were clear.

After the fellows lost sight of it they jumped back into the vehicle and drove quickly to where the object had been sitting, thinking they may be able to get another look at it. But it had vanished. He also said there is a plant, (industrial complex) and this is where the object was hovering over top of. According to the witness the object was not seen flying in any direction as I mentioned above, it blinked out after sitting stationary for the few minutes.

Thank you to the witness for the report, and again thank you to www.ufology.org.uk for forwarding the sighting to me.

Whitby ON                                                                      August 1st 9:30pm

I was at home on the evening of Aug. 1 2003, around 9:30pm watching TV when I noticed a light outside. We are on an approach to the Oshawa Airport, so I immediately thought it an aircraft. The light was quite bright though - solid, not blinking, but was streaming what looked like sparks and traveling from East to West. Most air traffic fly's into Oshawa from South to North over my house. I got up to have a look and kept my eyes on it. As it got to the halfway point over my backyard, the "light" then faded out. Interesting I thought, and sat back down to watch TV. A few minutes later, my son noticed another light and we both got up and went outside and watched this one do exactly the same thing. Each event from beginning to end (when the light went out) was approx. 30 secs. A couple of minutes later, another one came over. Then another. My next door neighbor came out to have a cigar, and I heard him yelling to his wife to come and see these things in the sky. I went up to my bedroom and grabbed my still digital camera and binoculars. We actually saw two at once on one occasion, cris-cross each other. When I viwed the object through the binocs, all I could see was the solid white light. As it got to the halfway mark in my backyard, the light faded, but I could still see a shape (squareish and appeared to be tumbling, slowly end over end). I took a couple of pictures that are available. In total, we saw about a dozen of these things over a 45-60 minute period.

Northeast of Kingston, ON                                            July 24th 11:10 p.m.

A witness called today from Ontario to make a report of a sighting he and his wife had witnessed. The husband and wife had just got back from their son's ball game, his son had caught a ride home with his friends. When the couple arrived home and were going about their business, they noticed none of the telephones were working in the house. The fellow wanted to contact the phone company, but of course couldn't. He wondered if the phone in the barn might be working so he headed outside and was on his way to the barn, looking up through the Pine trees and across the highway when he saw an extremely bright white light. The witness said it was so bright that he could not even look at it without placing his hand up in front of him. At the point where he first noticed it, the light was approx: a kilometer away coming from the west and his neighbors farm.

The witness mentioned to me that after he first spotted it the first thing that popped into his head was "camera". Although due to being fascinated with the object he soon forgot about the camera. He ran back up from the barn area and banged on his home's door to catch his wife's attention. When she ask what was going on, he said to her, 'you have to come out and see this".

He explained that he is not a man who gets rattled very easy, but what he had witnessed did shake it up a lot.

When the object came up close to his property it was not traveling very fast at all and had four bright white lights at the front of it and one red light in the middle, or center of the craft. He also said as bright as the lights were, they did not illuminate any of the surrounding area. He and his wife both thought it looked like a boomerang in shape. Also the fellow said it looked as if something was sticking out of the front of it. As the object left their property moving into the distance they lost sighting of the bright lights, but they did say the lights which were at the front of the craft were still lighting up the front end of it. (HBCC UFO Note: The witness said when he first saw it he thought it was landing lights on a large jet aircraft. He also wondered if it was going to crash due to it being at such a low altitude and no airport close by). There was also sound heard coming from the object. A very low rumbling sound to it, like a throbbing sound. As he pointed out, that if it was a normal aircraft and being as low as it was. The sound would have knocked his socks off due to it being very loud. But it wasn't like this at all. The object itself was dark or blackish in color. The fellow gave a "guess" at what the size may have been, using his home as reference of 74 feet long. He figured the distance between the first light to the second may have been roughly 70 feet in distance. So between the first light and the last the approx: distance would have been just over 200 feet. This would have been how wide the object was, or appeared to be.

Hopefully the other witnesses across the lake will talk with me over what they saw, which was the same object.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

3 people, myself included, sitting in our backyard. We saw a line of 4 lights moving very quickly through the night sky, heading north. Beside them, but with certainly enough distance so as to not be attached to these four lights, another cluster of three lights, possibly in a triangle formation. They simply headed north and out of our view. Writing this now, I realize that it could easily sound like a plane. But having lived in a major city for 20 years, watching planes fly over constantly, I can only say that this was not a plane. It moved much faster than a plane. It was a series of all white lights, and it was accompanied by another series of lights.

I was coming in from outside looking up at the stars. I glanced over to the western horizon and saw a very bright light. At first I thought it was a planet and was going to go get my binocculars to look at it, but it seemed even to bright for a planet. As I watched it for about 30 seconds it began to moved to the Northwest and very quickly became smaller and smaller until it was not seen anymore. It was gone in about 10 seconds. Why I do not think it was an airplane is simple. It was too bright of a light, non flashing, It was stationary for about 30 seconds and moved very, very fast until it disappeared and in a very short frame. It wasnt just that I lost sight in the horizon. It was a very clear night, no clouds. I am reporting this in hopes that I may not have been the only one to have seen it.

I first thought it was just a airplain but the craft's lights flashed a dim red, white and orangeish colour, then it started to hover and then picked up speed heading towords the sky. The craft then headed south but then it started to fly towords the ground at a 45 deg angle heading north, the craft then went back in a stright line heading north and then i saw i bright white light which took up the whole ship, when i dimed the ligh I lost sight of it behind some houses.

It was about 2.00 am I took my dog for a walk before going to bed. As I walked out of the building I looked up at the sky like I do every night. But this time I could clearly see something out of the ordinary... I looked around to see if there was anybody else seeing this but there was no one in the area. Even if it was a clear nigh I could not see any stars around the moon. Except for this very bright white light. I stood there starring at it for a few minutes before I noticed it seemed to be moving very slowly and was changing color from a white pulsating light to a bright orange then back to white. I ran back into my apartment to get my camcorder and digital camera... I took nine pictures but you can't really make out anything except a small white dots. But I managed to take about 40 minutes of video before my battery died. I had a hard time zooming in on it because of the moon being so close and so much brighter my auto focus kept zeroing in on it. After my battery died I stayed out there for awhile to see if anything else would happened. It just kept doing the same thing over and over. I then went back to my place to view the tape. I could clearly see on the tape the white light change to a bigger brighter orange light that seemed to pulsate for a few minutes then it went back to the white light and started the whole thing all over again.

SAW 3 UFO's in 1 hour. In the middle of the day.

The first was this little thing way up in the sky, it was round, and was turning in different directiions, and looked like it had one big wing on it.. it was changing colours, from orange to pink, then almost a silver colour as it rose up and moved left and right, then slowly across the sky.. until all i could see is this tiny white speck, that looked like a base ball in the distance.

The second one was a tiny white base ball figure moving up and down and left and right in the sky wayyyy far in the horizon- And the third was a rather large sphere that looked pink colour, then almost a yellow, moving west wards in the sky, really slow. no wings, no perpellars, no basket.. just a sphere.. it almost shook up and down while tracing the depths of the sky. This all happened within 40 minutes.

While driving north on Hwy 4 north of Hensall Ontario, I spotted a cigar shaped object crossing the highway.

The object was white. It travelled from right to left across highway approximately at the horizon, just above the treeline. The left-most side of the object was slanted downwards and the right-most side was slanted upwards. The angle was about 15-20 degrees.

I remarked to my wife (sitting next to me) what I saw and if she saw it too. She did not see it. I lost sight of it as it continued on it's course behind the trees. I did not see it again, but continued to look for it. I'm not sure how far down the road it was from our car but it had to be at least 10km (about 6 miles). It did not look like a plane, balloon or anything else I have seen in the sky. It had to be quite large. I say this because I watched it cross the road in clear view and from my position and it's entire length was visible between the trees on either side of the road! Someone else must have seen it.

If this turns out to be something easily dismissed, then I'm sorry I wasted your time, but I cannot reconcile what I saw. If someone can explain it, I would be interested in knowing what it is that I did see.

July 12, 2003 My wife and I were eating our dinner this evening at a restaurant at the corner of Renown Road and Dundas Street West (northwest corner - just about 1 block east of Kipling Avenue)in former Etobicoke, now part of Toronto.

We were sitting at a table facing an east window. I was sitting in a south direction. The window was quite large and I was enjoying looking out the window in a southeast direction towards the lake.

Between 6 and 6:30 pm, I noticed in the distance, in this same southeast direction, over the lake a hot-air-balloon-type object or a blimp-shaped object. Sometimes, it even looked eye-shaped or oval-shaped. It didn't look a plane. It caught my attention because it seemed to stay stationary for a number of minutes.

I asked my wife what she thought and she agreed that it didn't look like an airplane. I was keeping an eye on it during our dinner conversation. I noticed that it moved slowly eastward and out of view due to a southeast building a couple of times, then back into view. Again it appeared to stay fairly stationary for a few more minutes. Eventually, it moved westward out of my view.

I sent an email to the Toronto Island Airport this evening to find out if maybe there had been a slow-moving object over the lake towards the Etobicoke area of Toronto around this time, but I haven't received a reply.

It was dark black to silver colour against the clouds on the horizon. It didn't appear to be a cloud because it was staying somewhat stationary. The wind was gusty at the time. I could see the upper tree branches moving around Dundas Street West along with the clouds (they appeared to be moving south). I'm not sure what it was, but it made the dinner conversation more interesting.

There's a 50-50 chance I saw a genuine, unambiguous UFO over Hamilton at about 2:45 am last night. This one was directly overhead. It was a brilliant white disk, about 1/6th of the diameter of the moon. It showed its extreme brightness for about 5 seconds after I looked up and noticed it. It then took another 5 seconds or so to dim and shrink to a point of light like an average star, (not bright like Venus). It moved slowly north but disappeared after a third 5 second period. I would estimate this "craft" was at least 1,000 feet high, and could have been higher.  No noise, and no rotating beacons which are fitted to helicopters.  It did not give the impression of a police helicopter. There was haze and widely scattered but very thin clouds which were thin enough to let stars shinethrough. The quality of the white light was not as if it was a helicopter shining light down - this was an object that gave off the brilliant white light from its entire bottom surface.

I was wearing my sunglassess too, and while I was looking at N/W I saw an object, circular, going straight (W to N) at adouble speed at least than normal aircraft approaching the InternationalPearson Airport of the GTA. This object was not following at all neither the descent route of other carrier, nor the takeoff way used by planes that morning. Was brownish, kinda oval. The altitude around 5.000 feet. After 5 seconds circa, this flying object has done a sharp turn to its right,
than, after 3 seconds more, return on the previous direction. Suddenly after,
have disappeared nowhere. It was not a plane, nor an even "gigantic bird",
since after a couple of minutes, I saw on the same portion of sky two big docksflying. They were so different ... ! I have no clue was it has been, but, trust me, was so "weird."

It seemed just above a line of houses to the north of me, but i couldnt get an actuall determination of distance since it was high up, and there were no large buildings around.  As i made my way into Tecumseh, Ont i could tell it was no plane, since there was an actuall plane near the same area, with flashing lights, and the glowing ball was about twice the size, and did not flash.  The object seemed to be moving in a westerly direction and it started to speed up, as i checked the road to make sure i didnt hit anyone, i glanced back and it was gone, i have seen this object on two seperate occasions, in different locations.

I was driving home very late on May 3 2003.The time was close to midnight and we were driving home from downtown Toronto. I was going east on lawrence avenue in Scarbourough (east GTA).Once we reached the Port Union , Lawson rd area something strange happened. A bright light was shining down on the car from a height above, I noticed it because it seems the road was lit up around the car as we moved the light followed. It was as though driving under bright lights. I tried to get a look above but was unable to see the location of the light source. Scared I kept driving and didn't stop the vehicle. At first I thought maybe there was a truck behind or even large halogen road lights above but as I used my mirrors to check none of the above was there.During the ordeal my reaction was bewilderment as to the source of the light, after the light vanished I had to regain composure and calm down. There were no trucks or over head lights that could illuminate in such a way. What I am describing is a strange light source which came from above. and then vanished. I don't believe in U.F.O. stuff but I cant explain what i had experienced. The light came from something in the sky and was very bright. Brighter than anything I have seen while driving. It also vanished in a flash. My husband showed me this web-site so I told him the story as well. As a regular person with no real interest in this type of thing, has anyone else seen any thing in the scarb east in early May ?.Lawrence avenue goes east and west Bayley avenue is the continuation of Lawrence after the rouge valley. I would be curious if anyone else had this same experience. Thanks

Scarborough ON                                                          May 7th 3:16 AM

I was coming home with my brother and was on Lawson road in Scarborough and sighted an object at 3:16 A.M. My brother was driving the car and I was in the back seat. He first noticed a V shaped object that was extremely bright hovering farther ahead of us and showed it to me. First we thought it was a plane but since it was not moving, we concluded that it was a helicopter. But as we drove towards Port Union Rd, we actually passed the object and when we came right below it, it did not appear that bright. It looked like a triangular shape with only 3 lights at the 3 corners. It was at that time moving south towards Lake Ontario(I don't think it was moving fast). I could see it from the rear window. I could see it till we hit Port Union, but it wasn't as bright as before. After that, we lost it because of the houses there. Once we hit Lawrence, I tried looking for it but was unable to see it again. There was a minivan in front of us when we fist saw it and I am sure that person saw it because he slowed down as well.

Our personal thanks to the witness for this report which is currently under investigation. Please note that the primary witness believes this object to be terrestrial in origin.

Scarborough ON                                                                April 27th  11:30 AM

My wife, niece and myself witnessed 8 large white disk shaped objects traveling in a straight line in the Toronto, Scarborough. Bridletown and Finch area.

These objects were noiseless and traveling at an extreme slow pace.,north to south. What's weird is that I was sitting in front of my house enjoying the beautiful weather and I don't know why but I put my head right back over the chair looking straight up and bang there they were I freaked out.

The objects were perfectly round from bottom view but shaped like a mushroom meaning there seemed to be depth in the centre not flat like pancakes.

Color was white. No noise.about the size of a dime held out by your fingers.

My wife looked through house for the camera but by the time she found it, they were far away and near the sun so I snapped about four pictures while holding my hand to block the sun from blinding me and managed to get one of them only as a white dot so much for that.

If I had managed to get pictures of these objects when straight above us, every ufo magazine would use it as there front cover page. I hope that kind of gives you an Idea of what I was seeing, and for those who start thinking airplanes etc please don't insult my intelligence.

Our personal thanks goes to the witness for contacting us. This report is also under investigation.

Ottawa ON                                                                        April 28th 7pm

This event happened Monday April 28th 2003 at around 7pm.
While driving back through the residential streets from Elmvale mall area to Russell Rd and Haig St., my fiancee and I saw a silver disk hovering in the sky noiselessly, The Silver shining disk was just west of our position. It was difficult to see because of the sun. My fiancee strained to keep site of the UFO while I drove towards the object. I turned off of Othello Ave and down Hamlet St. and drove down to the very end where it intersects with Dauphin St.. We stopped at a park or school; believe to be Lynda Lane Park. It was 7pm and the sun was bright in the sky making it difficult for anyone to see it. From our vantage point though, a large tree blocked the sun allowing us to see the craft clearly. My impression is the craft was using the sun as camouflage preventing most of the city from seeing it. We observed the UFO for 10 minutes it was hovering left of the sun at the exact same angle of incidence, not moving away or toward but just keeping a relative position, after which it disappeared instantaneously. We drove home knowing that we had a very unique experience. I have noticed planes and helicopters in the sky before and have easily identified them as such by engine noise and motion. This was definitely something very different. I hope that if anyone in Ottawa has seen this UFO to definitely post your report as well please.

Our thanks to the witness for this report! If you have had a similar experience we would like to hear from you. uforeports@pararesearchers.org

I received info on a UFO seen over Ontario yesterday afternoon (a daylight sighting) by several pilots.

Date: 28 April 2003      Time: 2000Z

A pilot flying between Buffalo and London reported seeing a "very large stationary metallic object beside the Moon, at a high altitude." The pilot was flying at 43,000 feet and said the object was "much higher." He watched it for at least 30 minutes.

ATC at Pearson noted that several other pilots reported the same object.

Doing a check on star charts for that time and date, it turns out thatgood old Venus was within a few degrees of the Moon right at that time, high in the sky. Normally inconspicuous, it's likely that Venus was noticed because of its brightness and position so close to the Moon at the time, even in the middle of the day!

Toronto ON                                                           March 27 6:23pm

Martha F. writes: I live in downtown Toronto, and upon returning from the variety store, I went inside my studio; and glanced up through my street level window, and noticed an object moving east to west towards my direction. I thought at first it was probably a helicopter or a blimp, as we have a number of hospitals and a sports stadium in the downtown area. As it moved closer, it appeared to be a dense black object moving at a steady pace. I went outside, and my view from the sidewalk was an egg-shaped (oval) black object up in the sky. The time was Thursday, March 27, 2003, at 6:23 PM. It was still light outside and there were no visible lights on the object as it moved out of sight over my building. At arm's length, the object was about half my thumbnail in size. I would love to know if anyone else reports anything similar. Best regards, Martha

Ajax ON                                                                March 17 7pm

On March, 17, 2003, at 7:00 pm, I was driving home from work in Ajax to Oshawa. I was driving along Bayly street, just a few minutes before Lakeridge road when I looked to my right (towards lake Ontario) because I saw something in the corner of my eye. First I thought it was a blimp, but the whole thing lit up with a gray foggy bright light. It got brighter and brighter then the light slowly faded until it looked like it had just disappeared. It was not moving at all, it was staying in one place. There had to have been other people that saw it because the road was packed with cars.

Our thanks go out to the witness for this report. We would like to hear from anyone whom may have seen something similar in the East Toronto/Durham area.

Shabaqua (Thunder Bay), ON                                 March 11 3:00 p.m.

An orange fireball flew through the sky, outside of Thunder Bay in Shabaqua. We've seen the firball occurence before at Shebandowan Lake about 40minutes from Thunder Bay. Was a streem like with a fireball floating in the sky at great speeds. We have seen these at the lake Shebandowan. It was reported in the newspaper by other witnesses.

((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate, but it may have been March 11, 2003. Please see related report for that date. We have amended the date above to March 11, assuming that to be the correct date, indicated by the second report. PD))

Thanks to the NUFORC for this report.

Thunderbay ON                                                           March 11 3:00 a.m.

I myself did not see this event but eye witness accounts say that their snowmachines stopped running when they spotted this craft.Other people were saying that it was a orange fireball ( comet) that crashed in the area known as shabaqua corners.Just outside of Thunderbay this area is known for strange events such as 6 to 7 plane crashes in the last 10 years. Me myself i have witnessed a craft which was on the west side of the city of Thunderbay just above the airport. It seemed rather strange that i could see this object just above the airport. It did not seem to move it simply stayed in one area.It was v shaped, red in colour, and it seemed to cloak itself, yet i could still see the outline,it seem to blend in with the clouds but yet i could still make out the v shape. This went on for half an hour untill it seemed to cloak for the last time and i could not make it out anymore. That was in 2001.In 2002 i was on my way back from a gig,Im in a band,it was 3:00 am i was with my guitar player. We were heading north on what we call our expressway going home.Directly in front of us was a huge orange ball. The best way i can describe this incedent is,to put your thumb up in the air behind the wheel of my car would be the size of the moon. This craft would be the size of my fist.I stopped at the 7-11 to buy something to eat,and asked the worker to come outside and look at this thing to make sure i was,nt seeing things. And yes he as well as my guitar player ((name deleted)) saw this thing it was huge i couldn't beleive it.Nobody has ever reported this untill now.

((NUFORC Note: Date and time may be approximate, althought the witness does not incate that fact. Please see other report, which indicates a possible date of March 10, 2003, from Thunderbay. We will attempt to confirm the date of the event. We do not know if the witness implies a daytime, or morning, sighting. PD))

Thanks to the NUFORC for this report.

Scarborough, ON                                                  February 21 3:16 am

My bedroom window faces northwest and I frequently see airplanes even though I'm way out east. But this wasn't an airplane or a helicopter in my opinion. It simply moved too fast.

I was awakened from sleep at 3:16 AM (I don't know by what) and sat up and put my glasses on. I looked around the room and listened for my toddler, but everything seemed fine so I glanced casually out of my bedroom window.

What I saw was a while light, fairly large I would say (from my window it appeared roughly dime sized) with the light diffused around the edges. At first I thought it was an airplane headed straight at me, but it didn't move for almost 5 minutes. (4 minutes and 45 seconds from when I first noticed it). Then it suddenly moved straight up. Didn't fade, just moved up. Hovered there for a few seconds then dashed to the North I would guess given the lay of the land. Maybe northeast. Got fainter and fainter very quickly, but the color never changed."

Our personal thanks to the witness for the above report. This report is under investigation and we would like to hear from anyone whom witnessed similar. uforeports@pararesearchers.org

The following report is in response to the Scarborough ON sighting listed above.

Scarborough ON    February 21st approx. 8:30pm

"I recently witnessed the same light at an earlier time. I was sitting in my living room with my girlfriend and her grandmother at approximately 8:30 pm. We were watching TV when my girlfriends grandmother noticed a light out our front window (that faces North-east). It was just above the tree line, I would say 200-300 feet off the ground and maybe 2 or 3 km away. It looked to be a round light that again was diffused around the edges but bright in the centre, extremely bright. It hovered there for several minutes, I turned my head to look at something on the television and turned back and it was just gone."

Our personal thank you and appreciation to the witness for sharing this report.

Hamilton ON    February 16th 4pm

Oval shape. Duration:2 minutes the object was flying for a bit than vanished

There were blinking lights on the object and it made a noise a bit like a siren. Some bubble like ojects were coming from it.

((NUFORC Note: Paucity of information provided by witness. PD))

Sudbury ON February 2nd  7:10pm

Duration:1 minute blinking light moving very fast across the sky , faster than jets do and satellites don't have strobe lights

I often look at the night sky with binoculars. It was very clear this evening and not to cold so my wife and I went out to look at the stars. We do this quite regularly and are getting to know the constellations fairly well. I saw a blinking light through my binoculars and followed it for a few seconds before pointing it out. We often track satellites but this was different. It had a blinking light, and was moving very quick. I first spotted it between the constellation Orion and Pleiades and it travelled straight as an arrow towards the big dipper then continued out of site. I frequently watch passenger jets as they fly across the sky but this was moving much faster. I do not think you would expect to see a strobe light on a jet at 30,000 feet, definitely not as bright as this one.

Harcourt ON    February 2nd 5:30am

Duration:30 minutes Bright white diamond with red lower surface

Object appeared just over tree line. Very bright with red light on lower surface.

Within minutes moved erratically left and right, up and down. Within ten minutes it had moved further into the distance. Still visible at 6:00 am in the south eastern sky.

((NUFORC Note: Both Venus and Mars are in the eastern sky at this time of the morning. We do not know what the witness observed. PD))

Hamilton ON                                                                Jan. 29th 9pm

I just came from visiting my mother who lives in the East end of Hamilton. As I was leaving I stood with her while she had a smoke. We were talking about UFO's and were looking up in the sky. She pointed out something that at first I had trouble finding, then my eyes find what was unmistakably a V shape formation very high up in the sky. It reminded me of the formation of birds, but this was at about 9:00 at night and they were very high up, moving very fast and were lit up. That was the strangest part. They looked like lights. Then my dad came out and we were telling him about it when I looked up and saw another formation, but it was in a line rather then a V and I said "could it be birds?" He said no because they were travelling too fast and they were all light up. I have never seen anything like it at all and if it was a UFO, it was the very first siting I have ever had. Did anyone else see this tonight???

Update March 10th

My mother and I are still so baffled by what we saw. It was so high up and it looked like it was beyond the stars, even though that is impossible. I just couldn't believe my eyes. But, they weren't three lights as described above by eve, there were about 10 lights in the shape of a V, maybe five on each side with one as a point, so 11 lights!! It really looked like the formation of the Canadian Geese, it was quite amazing and then the second set to follow was in a straight line of about 5/6 lights. The lights were tiny, but it could explain why it appeared so far away. I mentioned this one night to the girls at work and they looked at me as if I was crazy. Now, honestly, I wouldn't mention it if I thought it was explainable, like a plane, but there is no way this was a plane, no way at all and to have the second set of lights following it not even a minute later, impossible. Also, I have never seen a plane in those shapes before.

Our personal thanks to the witnesses for the above report.

Kingston ON                                                                January 24th 6:13pm

Duration:approx. 2 min. black equilateral triangle with 3 glowing white dome lights at tips... directly above my car

On Friday evening, January 24, 2003, I was driving north on Hwy. #15 near Kingston Mills Road. It was a cold still night, and I was singing along to a cassette of the "Mamas and the Papas" on my car stereo. I just passed over"Stephentown Creek Road," when something in the sky caught my eye. Ahead of me and to the right, just above the tree line, I saw two round white lights. They were much bigger than any stars and they appeared to be coming towards me in a south-west direction. I checked my car mirrors to see if any other vehicles were on the highway. There weren't any, and I immediately slowed my car down to about 10-15 km/hr. As the two lights approached it looked like big bus headlights in the sky. I thought to myself, "What kind of a plane or helicopter has two white lights like that?" I'm not too knowledgeable about aircraft, but I'd never heard of anything with two big white lights. Then I noticed that there was a smaller red light blinking between the two white lights. It started on the inside of the left light and "blinked" its way to the right light, and continued this pattern back and forth. At closer look, I realized that there was also one small red light that stayed consistently lit next to the right white light.

The object was flying slowly and just over the treeline (approximately 2-3 telephone poles high). I quickly checked for traffic again, and then flicked on the high beams of my car, because I thought it might help me get a better look at this thing. I didn't stop the car, but I was driving so slowly I was barely moving. I couldn't believe my eyes; it was a black equilateral triangle right ahead of me above the road. The triangle was exactly even and equal in length on all three sides and each of the three angles. There was a large white dome light steadily 'glowing' at each of the three points. Each of these round dome lights were about the size of a half-volleyball. None of the lights were actually shining a beam of light on anything, or even casting a radiant light for that matter. I could no longer see the red blinking lights at all, and I wasn't sure if these glowing dome-lights were the same lights as the headlights or not.

I quickly put my window down and stuck my head out. As it passed over my car I got a very good look at the bottom of the craft. It was flying point-first towards the Kingston Mills Locks area. The black triangle was actually very dark grey and almost shadow like above a very distinct 3-Dimensional black shape directly attached to and under the triangle. It looked like something out of a Star Trek movie! It actually had arrow-like points at each of the three corners. After the point, the shape made something like a small inward rectangle, then outward to a larger rectangle shape, back to a small inward rectangle, and then to the next point. Each side was exactly symmetrical to itself and to each other side. It struck me how slowly it was moving (maybe 40 km/hr), how low it was, and how small it was... it would easily fit in a school gymnasium.

The next thing that crossed my mind was that perhaps it was some sort of military stealth-like plane. I thought whoever that is, is so close they can probably hear "Dream a little Dream" playing on my stereo. I considered turning the radio off, but I didn't bother. Maybe it would draw their attention to me; then another thought crossed my mind; would that be a good thing or a bad thing? What about a real UFO; and possible abduction? I didn't feel scared, though, especially since none of those "stereotypical" things happened to my car. No stalling, or dimming of lights, or weird radio noise. I noticed two sets of car headlights coming towards me from around the next corner of the highway. I thought, "Good, those people have got to be able to see this thing too!" I felt better that I probably wasn't alone in the "sighting" and I just continued around the corner. The strange craft never stopped or hovered, just continued slowly on its course towards the area of Kingston Mills Locks. I did not see the craft from behind. I looked at the clock in my car, and it read 6:21. Since my clock is set exactly 8 minutes fast, it would actually have been 6:13 pm. I noticed the next street sign that read "Isle of Man Road". The whole incident probably lasted less than two minutes.

I was very excited about what I had seen, so I explained it and sketched it out for friends immediately. They asked me what it sounded like. Sound had never crossed my mind. I told them that I did have my stereo on, but I didn't notice any sound at all coming from the aircraft. I also made note that I hadn't noticed any sort of big wind or anything like that. It was certainly a bizarre experience, and I will certainly never forget it.

This account was written on Monday, January 27th, 2003 (3 days after sighting) and the diagrams were computer drawn on Tuesday, January 28th, 2003 from memory and from the sketches I made immediately after sighting.

Please note that drawings are approximate renditions only. Stars in sky are not accurate, just representation of stars. The third diagram is a drawing of the craft from directly underneath. (I am aware that the perspective of this drawing is a little off.) The pattern of the black underneath of the craft is as similar as I could make it, but I'm sure it is definitely not exact.

NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness at length, and found her to be an exceptional witness. Her recollection of the event seemed quite precise, and she was quite eloquent in describing it. She sounded sincere, and quite credible. She prefers no additional publicity about the event, beyond her written report here. PD))
