Ontario UFO Sightings 2004
Update to report below:
Guelph ON Dec. 16th 7:45am
I was out shovelling driveway
Thursday Dec 16th 7:45 am and noticed what I thought was a large bird. At first I thought it was an eagle but there are no eagles around here.
The sky was shining lots of different colours so I thought it was my eyes. The object appeared to reflect light and was greyish at times. It made me feel weird, viewed in for about 10 minutes then went inside house. Military helicopter and two small planes flew over neighbourhood about 9:30.
We have since had a third witness come forward. We would like to thank all those who have contacted us thus far.
Guelph ON Dec. 16th 7:40am
I was on my way to work yesterday (Dec 16 at about 7:40 am in the North end of Guelph, ON) when I looked to the South
east sky I saw a small white object. At first it looked like the cloud left behind a jet, but it didn't get any bigger. As we (my car pool driver) drove farther south it became very large and diamond shaped. It was silvery
white, very shiny and had a dark slit in the center. The driver was looking too and crossed the center line a couple of times trying to get a better look. I say it looked like a buckwheat seed shape. We turned the corner at
Vitoria and Clair Rd going west. This is where is seemed the largest. When I got to work about 5 mins later the object was gone. This incident lasted about 20 mins total. I was a little scared, but calm. It was so beautiful.
But last night I was so worried I was actually sick."
Our thanks to the witness for this report. We would like to hear from anyone else whom may have seen something similar at this date and time or location.
Acton ON Dec. 5th 7:15pm
On Monday, December 5, 2004, at 7:15 p.m., eyewitness C.C. "was
sitting outside on the deck with my dog" at her home in Acton, Ontario (population 6,975) when she was startled by a strange UFO encounter. "I live in a new housing development in Acton, and the treeline is actually
behind an air base," she reported, "On the other side of the trees lies a grocery store and a small plaza. The sky was clear, and out of nowhere dropped two oval-shaped lights. They dropped straight down
over the treeline and went straight over my house.
The two objects were very quiet and came to a brief stop as they dropped out of nowhere and then went straight over my house. I didn't notice how my dog reacted--a soft-coated Wheaten terrier--as she was doing her business, and I was looking up into the sky. The two objects were almost triangle-shaped and bright, silver looking, and they made
no noise at all. This all happened in a matter of five to ten seconds. We live about one hour northwest of Pearson International Airport in Toronto. I could see clearly the planes going over that night. They
fly southeast over our house. These objects descended out of nowhere, straight down, hesitated and then straight over my house."

Strathroy ON Dec. 5th 10pm
Returning home a brighter than normal light appeared in the distance at an abnormally low height. From a distance the light seemed very
bright and white. As we drove closer, the craft remained on a steady path, and began to look not like any normal aircraft. Once we were close enough to see that it had outer bright white lights on the tips of what seemed to be
a triangle or diamond shape; it was difficult to determine as it was dark. In addition to the white lights, there where blue and red sort of scrolling lights in between the white light tipped outer corners of the craft. We
stopped the car and got out and listened and watched. It was very quite this night, the craft flew almost directly over top of where we had stopped and emitted no sound whatsoever. We watched at this time the craft just drift
over and then away from us in virtually the same direction the entire time. I would like to point out that the craft was drifting at a speed that was too slow for any airplane, but at a constant rate. I would guess 50-70
km/hour.

North Bay ON Nov. 30th 5am
My husband and I were in bed trying to convince the little one to go back to sleep and as I was rocking her
in my arms I happened to look out the window across from our bed and there was this bright light in the shape of a plus sign or diamond , I became focused on it and remember thinking that the north star wasn't usually that
bright. I remember thinking it must have been a star because it wasn't moving.I didn't think anything unusual about it other than the intensity of the light(lack of sleep, sick with cold, restless baby were factors )Then, I
looked away and almost immeditely my husband was in a panic and started freaking out , baby starts crying, and my husband said, Did u see that? did you see that? and i said what the light? and he said yeah, i looked to where i
seen the "bright star" and it was gone. It was a clear night and and i could see other stars in the sky where it had been but dim in light by comparison. I had just missed it when i looked away to tend to our baby.my
husband who seen this bright diamond light come directly toward us in the sky and lit up our bedroom the silence fell among us and we could feel and hear these rythmetic vibrations (whommm... whommm... whomm) I will now turn
the commentary to my husband, Here is what my husband has to say from the time i looked away (I hadn't told him of the "bright star): we had both seen the bright lite but my wife was unable to stay focused on it due to
rockin the baby back to sleep. I had become fixiated on the bright, twinkling object that had now begun moving in a fast 'swirling' motion-like a merry go round with bright lights that were the color of candles with a purple
twinge to it. At this point maybe 5 min. had passed. As my wife looked away the object then dashed toward out house at an exceptionally fast speed, with the bottom of the object looking like a lit up honeycomb with lights. Then
it was gone.

Kanata ON Nov 19th 11:30pm approx.
It was the evening of Nov 19, 2004, approximately 11:30 p.m., and my friend and
I were driving home to Renfrew, Ontario from Ottawa, Ontario.
We were just past Kanata (West end of Ottawa) and we were driving along, singing to the radio and chatting. There was about a ten minute time period where we both went completely quiet and stared into the sky. I finally noticed that my friend had also spotted the same thing I did, so I asked her what she thought it was. As we drove along, I stared at the object which was hovering over the trees (quite a bit higher to the trees, but not small looking to the eye) to the left side of the highway. It had three lights on it and it just hovered there, the lights facing us. We watched it for 15 minutes until it disappeared out of view but it just hovered over the trees, unmoving. Both of us had a strange, eerie feeling the whole time driving by the object and every time we head into the city at night, we always look for the object but have yet to see it again. We're not sure what it was, but it was certainly not an aircraft as it had three lights on it and they faced us at all times. Anyway, just thought I would post this to let you know what we saw...

Delta ON Nov. 9th 8:15pm
Very bright orange orb 2x size and brightness of Venus At first it hung in
the sky above treelines then slowly moved in a northerly track parallel to county rd 8. and at about near ((name deleted)) my daughter and I noticed there were two objects .
We stopped to watch and listen and heard no sound.

Ottawa ON November 7th 5:30pm
I just stepped outside on a routine outing, and suddenly noticed the object because it
looked unordinary compared to anything else that I had seen fly over the city after dark. When I had first noticed the object, I was certain that it could not have been anything explainable. My first action upon seeing the
object was to drop what I had first set out to do in order to try to find out what was going on, and later ran for the nearest doorway after seeing a real bright light come down from a fixed point in the sky. For most of the
time that the sighting lasted, the object was repeatedly flying around in a circle at a very high rate of speed, and I later lost sight of it when it flew away before I finally got back outside one hour after running inside.
Our thanks to the witness for sending us this report.
Tecumseh ON Nov. 6th 1:05pm
Sited shiny dark grey angular saucer pea sized UFO at arms length bobbing and wobbling in a
linnear easterly 70 mph vector 13:05 hrs.
I am a licensed electrician working for One of the big 3 automakers on 3 weeks vacation not drinking alcohol or taking any mind altering substance.
Talking with my father
on a portable phone with head set in the living room sitting on a lazy boy chair looking out south window at the sky talking about (I don't remember but was feeling calm and relaxed) when I noticed an object at about 50 degrees
up in the south south east sky that was about as big as a pea at arms length. It was bobbing up and down and wobbling back and forth and side to side all the while moving linearly from my right to left. It covered about 5 - 10
degrees of arc in that easterly vector. The surface of the craft was like polished black granite. The shape was circular about 30% high as wide and the sides seemed to be made of flat triangular sections that reflected the sun
in a clear blue sky as it bobbed and wobbled. After watching for about 20 seconds I left to get my binoculars for about 20 seconds and when I got back it was not visible. There was no audible sound from inside the house during
the siting.
Temperature outside was about 60 F. No wind. Slight haze on the horizon. No other visual observers present. Described the experience to my father as it was happening. Have always felt that I would one day see
a UFO out this window as I sat there. Was happy and excited to unexpectedly see it. Disappointed that it disappeared before seeing it through the binoculars.

St. Catharines ON October 21st 1:10am
2 Craft Flying side by side, no sound, no lights. Erratic movement by one of the objects, making 90 degree
turns/banks. Both triangle/diamond shape. appeared to be dark in colour against the night sky. Observed by two people.

Nobel ON October 10th
We were looking out our window when we
saw a red floating object (almost looks like mars when it was close to the earth) to the south-south-east. We got the telescope out and took a closer look... It had green and red and white lights spinning around it. We watched
it float in the sky for about 5 minutes and then it disappeared in less than a blink. Then it reappeared over Parry Sound for a second time. The approx. distance that it traveled it 10 kilometers in about. The strange thing was
that it took about 10 seconds to go between the two locations. This is why we are reporting it to you, (you dont get to see things like this everyday).
Kincardine ON October 6th 10:35pm
While sitting on a
quiet beach on Lake Huron, after dark, just star gazing, we noticed a series of four lights in a straight line just above the horizon. These lights did not move, but just appeared, and flashed in a sequence. They were like spot
lights, orange and red in colour. After about thirty seconds, they just disappeared. About five minutes later, another light appeared higher in the sky, same colour, but this one moved in an upward direction, like a flare. Only
it originated high in the sky. A second light appeared almost immediately, slightly lower. With the same motion upward, they both disappeared. At this point, the lake is about sixty miles wide and there are no obstructions. I
often see numerous jets and planes, but none have ever looked like this. The night was totally clear, with a slight wind. There were some waves so I didn't notice any sounds. I was with a friend and he saw the same thing.

Thorold ON October 6th 8pm approx.
It had 3 lights, like a triangle. It Stopped n mid air for 5 miutes right over where we were playing football, then went NorthWest at speeds of 100-500 MPH. My one friend
said it was a plane, but it had no blinking lights or anything and i could just see the ship outline. when it went at top speeds, we saw 3 little (looked like airpalnes) chase the "UFO" but couldnt catch it.
Ottawa ON October 3rd 7:30pm
The objects in question seen were of oval or orb shape. Both were orange. My first impression was that it was air craft since I live near one. But the flight path of both
objects seemed irratic as they seem to move from one direction to another , left to right , and could change elevation rapidly. Both objects then moved in opposit dirctions and sometimes would come close to each other and
repeat the action again. Sight of both objects was lost as they moved out behind some clouds. I looked for as much as 15 more minutes to see if i they could be found again but to no avail.
Toronto ON - October 1st 6:15 a.m
It was this morning at around 6 in the morning that I went on my balcony to look at the stars, as they were particularly
bright and you don't see that often in Toronto. My balcony faces south and the first thing I did was look to my left(west)to see the stars. Then I looked to the East and instantly noticed these 3 bright orange balls shaped in a
triangle! And it was a perfect triangle too. These 'balls' didn't move, they just stayed in one spot so I knew it couldn't be a plane. It lasted that way for about five minutes or so. I was in a state of shock and must've stood
there for about at least a minute, just staring, afraid to run inside to get my camera, fearing the 'balls' would dissapear. I did it anyway and got about 4 digital pics. It was still fairly dark, and my camera doesn't take
very good pics in the dark, but I got it needless to say. I was just wondering if anyone else witnessed this? I know they aren't stars either, i'm an avid star gazer and i've never seen anything like this before in my life!
Please note that the witness has kindly sent in the photos taken at the time of the sighting.

London ON - September 26th 5:20am
Looked up to sky noticed a triangular shaped object with red lights on each point of the triangle flying from north to south like
an arrow pointing as it flew. It was hard to tell how fast it was going but it passed overhead and was gone in 10 to 15 seconds. Quite faster than any plane creeping by. The object seemed extremely large by assuming each light
on it was plane sized and it covered quite a bit of sky.I tried to point it out to others around me but it happened too quickly. I wished I had a laser pointer or some form of light to get its attention like it got mine!

Mississauga ON - September 23rd 9:40pm
Three dull orange lights of constant luminescence each the size of a pencil eraser held at arms length, in a more or less straight line formation. The formation was at an angle of
between 10 to 30 degrees off the line of travel, varying that angle over the duration of the sighting.Formation length was about the length of observers thumb as seen at arms length. Line of travel was from the north west to
the south east. This corresponds to the direction from toronto int'l airport to lake ontario. There are many aircraft in the air space in the duration of the day where observation took place. None take this flight path. There
was no sound coming from the formation, at least not audible by the observer. Sky was clear with no wind. Light of formation could have been the reflection caused by city street lighting, if the object(s)were of a reflective
material such as polished aluminum. Observer watches night/day sky often and has come to know the difference between known aircraft or birds and for example this observation. It was not the first time. People look up at the
sky, you'll be amazed
Oshawa ON - September 19th 4pm
At 4:00PM, in a clear blue sky, I saw 2 bright white lights travelling north->south direction in the sky, the 2 lights were very bright, moving in the same
direction at equa-distance separation. At one point the first light seemed to stop moving completly and the 2nd light approached the first, then eventually passed it.

Kanata ON - September 18th 10pm
In the hot
tub looking up at the stars when this "huge" shadow, shaped like the brackets sign on your computer " } " flew right over our yard. It seemed very high and was completely silent, moving from northeast to the
southwest. Compared to a comercial planes that regularly fly over our home, this thing was at least 10 times wider. All you could see was a grey shape gliding over our house against the darker sky and stars. There were no
lights on this object but it had a glow like moonlight does on a cloud. When I first saw it I pointed and started to say look, look, look and my wife looked up and saw the exact same thing. This was no flying saucer, it was
chevron shaped, and it was no cloud!!

The following was sent to us on October 27th:
"I am forwarding a photograph that was taken on 12-Sep-04 @ 4:18 pm
by my son. This picture was taken facing E over Oshawa from Brooklin (which is a hamlet of Whitby) in Ontario Canada. The picture shows two objects that were NOT noticed by any one at the time. I only noticed it, when I decided
to down load the images on to the computer. These pictures were not altered in any way what so ever. My son was taking a picture of his friend at the time. I don't know what they are, I have used Micro-soft Image
Preview to zoom in on the objects to see if I could figure out what they are. I sent (via email) a copy of the picture to a friend, and he noticed not only the two larger objects (one just off of the middle, and the other to
the far right, duller in colour and farther away), but two more in the sky, in the clouds that seem very far away."

London ON - September 11th 3 a.m
I saw one bright object hover above the trees far off in the distance from my
bathroom window, facing north. Tonight is very clear, and there are a few stars. The object was stationary, though it weaved left and right in short jerky movements. It had white and blue lights, and none were red like a
passenger jet. There was a strange high pitch sound. I can assure you from years of observances at the night sky, I have never seen anything like it. I was very shaken up by it.
London ON - September 10th 10pm
I was looking out the window speaking on the telephone this evening when I heard what sounded like a plane. As I looked up out of the window to see it, I saw a triangle shaped aircraft or something? flying across my range of
vision traveling in a south-easterly direction. Although it was quite fast, I have never seen an aircraft with triangular lighting? To the best of my recollection, the craft had red, blue and yellow lights on it and none were
flashing. I am a bit of a UFO buff, and realize that most of these triangular shaped craft are silent but this was not?? Im not sure what to make of it but thought I should report it. Maybe someone else saw it as well?
Thunder Bay ON - September 7th 12:30 a.m
It was a triangle, a long triangle of 3 stars, moving in one direction. We thought "satellite" at first cause we can see them on clear nights, but we have never
seen 3 of them move in complete unison. Then we thought it was a plane but I know there is no aircraft that is that large to be seen that high in the sky. I have seen many planes in the sky at night and none have ever even come
close to that size. It would've appeared at least 5 times smaller, but these 3 stars we saw moving were very high in the sky and were clearly not a plane. I don't know of any plane that has 3 stars attached to it at perfect
angles. It moved for about one minute then just stopped. The night was still clear and you could see all the other stars, but the 3 stars we saw stopped completely and we didn't see them again.
((NUFORC Note: We wonder
whether the witnesses might have observed the three satellites that frequently are reported to our Center. They are thought to be a "triplet of satellites, which may be associated with the U. S. Navy "NOSS"
satellite system. PD))

2 adults and 2 children(ages 9/10yrs). We were driving along a busy road and I spotted a silver oval craft. We pulled over and watched it disapear, then we saw the second one to the
right of the car going the same way as the first....Then when the second craft disapeared we saw a third comming from the right side of the car again just above us(but a little forward as we could see them through the
windshield)and it also went in the same direction as the previous two, then disapeared as well…
((NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness, and we found her to be seemingly quite objective in her description of the event.
We suspect she and the other parties are reliable witnesses. PD))

Omemee ON August 29th 7:35pm
At aprox. 7:35pm my wife and I were sitting on the end of our
dock, my wife fishing and myself just sitting there waiting to admire a sun set. My dock faces almost straight north and our property is at the south end of Pigeon Lake looking down the lake, not accross it. The sky to the
north was fairly cloud covered and to the north east it looked as though a thunder storm was brewing. As I looked north towards a couple of boats fishing about 200 meters from our shore I spotted what looked like a dark cloud
very low in the sky moving quickly from west to east in the distance behind the boats. As I was just about to point it out to my wife, it suddenly stopped and changed direction and began moving east to west, after a short
distance it changed direction again to travel west to east. At this time my wife saw it to and we watched it continue east and out of sight. I ran to the house and got my digital camera but after an half an hour or so of
waiting and watching nothing appeared. My wife and both agree we have never seen anything like this before and are at a loss to explain it. I am useally a logical person and believe that all things can be explained but I'm
stomped. I would glady take a lie detector test to recount what I saw. An explaination would greatly be appriciated. Thanks.

Belleville ON August 24th 2:30 am
Last night around 2:30 or 3 am my oldest son and I were watching
the Starsky and Hutch movie. All of a sudden I saw what I woulda swore was a huge plane landing in this filed out back of our house behind a set of woods. It was huge and had blue, red, green, and yellow flashing lights. We
watched it for a second, dumb founded wondering why the hell would such a large plane be landing back there unless it was in trouble. So we ran upstairs to my office to get a better view over the trees and saw the thing rise up
real quick then just kinda hover then bam it shot off to the north and was gone. Then about 15 minutes after that this big bright white light just appeared further off in the distance and stayed there for a bit and then started
moving to the left and right then it shot up a ways, sat there, and then bam it too was gone. During the time the large craft was in our sight our satellite television kept screwing up, the picture going all frazzled. When the
bright white light appeared later our Satellite went out again.
I'm going up on our roof tonight with our video camera as I have spoken to two other people who have seen this that didn't know of my experience before
telling me theirs. Hopefully I can catch something on tape.

Cambridge, ON August 20th 10:38pm
Full Description of
event/sighting: I went out side on our patio for a smoke. Was just watching the sky when 2 objects went flying by very fast. They were flying parallel to each other, but seemed to be weaving back and forth. It was kind of hazy
and made them look orange in colour. They flew extremely fast and I only saw them for about 5 seconds. Thought they might be a meteor, but they didn't go quite as fast like meteors go through the sky and the fact they were
together makes me wonder.
There was no sound like there usually is when a plane flies over.
Additional Information:
Q. - Can you please describe the weather. Was it Overcast? Raining? A clear night? Full
moon?
A. - No Full moon. The weather was nice. No rain, though it seemed a bit hazy. It seemed clear above our house as I was gazing at the stars.
Q. - In what part of the sky was the UFO located? North, South,
East, West? On the horizon or straight overhead or somewhere in between?
A. - There was two of them going north to south.
Q. - Describe the appearance of the UFO: shape, size, distance, color, texture, sound. The
reason why i left the question in about the sound was, I noticed you mentioned that the objects didn't make a noise like aircraft do, but wondering was there any noise at all, and if so would you be able to describe it for me
please ?
A. - They had wings. Shaped almost like a plane. No sound at all that I can recall. We have planes going over all the time and they make sound. The both appears orange in colour. That may have been due to the
haze.
Q. - Describe the area in which you made the sighting. Is it near an airport? An Air Force Base? A military or research installation of any kind.
A. - There is a small municipal airport. We are about 1 hour
southwest of the Toronto Airport and an hour or so from the Hamilton airport. Not aware of any military installations.
Q. - Also did you happen to see any aircraft in the area at the time of the sighting ?
A. -
There was a couple of airplanes. One flying east and one going south west. The two objects were much higher in the sky. The planes I could see clearly, including their lights.
Q. - Did you happen to notice if there was a trail or tail following behind them ?
A. - No tail or trail that I noticed.
Q. - Did any of the objects have lights on them ?
A. - No lights. They were just illuminated an orange colour.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Wardsville ON August 13th 3:45 am
Another sighting...2 nights after the last one I reported to you. Aug.13- 3:45 a.m.
Same light, motionless, soundless, bright flickering white ball of light, size of a grape, at arms length. East-75 degrees in the
horizon.
It seemed to be closer...and much brighter than the other night. So much brighter, I was able to snap some pictures of it. I also saw a passenger jet fly very close to it, I'm sure the pilot must have seen it.
The light lasted for about 20 minutes the stars moved, but the light remained in its stationary position. It was still there in the sky when I went back to bed.
I know this is not a star...because it is not out
every night...and much to bright...and sometimes motionless???
I wish the pictures were better...but I'm surprised it captured it at all....my cheap digital camera does not do well with night shots....it has to be
bright, or nothing.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Sioux Lookout ON July 30th 10-11pm
Full Description of event/sighting: I had my glasses on so I
wasn't seeing things. There were three light colored objects which were very low flying. I thought they were seagulls at first but they stayed in a perfect triangle the whole time and flew in a exact straight line. They went
from north to south and had no lights what so ever, so I ruled out planes. I waited for a sound of a jet or plane as well, you know cause the sound usually comes a little later. There was no sound. So that's my story and I'm
sticking to it. Who ever reads this, just wanted to let you know because I just read the Dryden paper and apparently there has been a few sightings there. They are only an hour away. I told a few other people as well the night
of so I have verbal witnesses, but no one else actually saw them.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
HBCC UFO
WestHill ON August 3rd 10pm
I was sitting on the deck, having my evening tea and a chat with my
fiance. We face north, and we have a clear view of east to west sky. We loked up to the right towards the Big Dipper, and he pointed out a "shooting star", only to instantly realize that it was not a star or comet. We
both realized it at the same time. We saw a round glowing object, moving from east to west (rt to lt ) direction, fairly quick, much quicker than any plane. there was no sound made. Same (or similar) object re- appeared within
a minute, and passed over our heads. This repeated about 3 more times, with 1 minute or so inter vals. We first both thought that it was an UFo, and later, my partner was insisting that it was a weather baloon. I do not see
how, since it was late and very dark, and no baloons could move this fast. The night was very calm, and even if there were any crosswind at the altitude, I do not see how any baloon could move this fast and /or be visible at
all. It was Aug 03/2004 around 10 pm. Calm weather, with very few clouds. Also, first 3 to 4 times it was a single object, with next one appearing as a single and then mulitplying into 3 and then to 4 objects of sdame size
and shape, round glowing circles. I watched this for about 1 hr. They kept reapearing as single sometimes 2 single object moving across the sky..

Guelph ON July 2pm
I was driving home to Waterloo after work in Toronto late at night around 2:00 am on the 401 Westbound.
I had just passed Highway 6 South when I saw what seemed to move like a meteorite at first, fall straight down from approx. 1/2 way up the horizon to about 1/4 up the horizon where it at that point changed direction within what was a fraction of a second and moved up again approx. 120 degrees from it's original trajectory to 1/3 up the horizon and disappeared. I at first thought it was a meteorite until I saw it change direction like that, and the colour of it was green on it's way down and then blue after it changed direction until it disappeared. It moved extremely fast, the whole sighting lasted only 3 seconds. the light didn't seem to stop at all nor make a gradual turn to move in the opposite direction, it just seem to suddenly be moving up instead of down. Why the object disappeared I can't say it just suddenly wasn't visible. Unfortunalty because it was at night it is difficult to give approximate values to how high it was at any point or the speed of it (seemed extremely fast) or or the size of it there was little to compare it to.
Our thanks to the witness for this report.
Southampton ON July 19th Approx. 9pm
Sitting outside in my neighbours back yard around 9 pm Monday July 19, 2004. He
all of a sudden yelled, "hey look at that, what is that"! We all looked up right above us, a little to the west to see a big bright object moving across the sky at a fairly good clip, heading north. It was as bright
as a street light. My neighbour who flew helicopters estimated it was about 2,000 feet above the ground. We followed it in the sky for a few minutes then noticed flames or sparkes coming from it. It seemed to fade for a moment
then light up again then in an instant it was gone! It did not fall to the ground, it stayed travelling north straight, and steady till it dissappeared. There was no sound coming from it. There was no sign of wings, red or
green lights. We were very excited speculating what this object could be. It was so obvious in the sky we are sure others must have seen it also. We would be very interested in hearing from you as to an explaination to this ufo.

Bradford ON June 26th approx. 10:30 and 11:00 pm
My partner, family and I were returning to Toronto
from a day up north. About this time noted above, we were returning south on the stretch of highway #11 just after Bradford, a few moments past the Holland River bridge. I was sitting in the passenger seat, enjoying a somewhat
clear night sky when I caught a glimpse of 3 orange-bronze comet-head-like type objects "stream" in the sky directly to the right of me. They then became obscured by a ridge of trees.
I told my partner and we drove until the next small clear area on Hwy 11 maybe 5-10 seconds up the road, whereupon I lowered my window and my partner jumped out of the car to observe the objects yet surprisingly once again as they emerged from the tree line -- in a SE absolutely straight as an arrow formation. All three visibly equidistant to each other in formation and speed, their "tails" straight and narrow like pencil lines drawn behind them and not dissipating. We estimate the tails to be at least two to three fingers span. The middle object's head was brighter and larger than the two others each flanking the larger one and a bit back. Overall altitude and speed indeterminate but we were surprised to see them emerge from the tree line once we found a clear area. We lost sight of them again as they passed into another tree line. Because of the shape, colour, speed, surmised low altitude and very precision flight path/equidistant spacing of these objects, we do not believe they to be part of any tri-satellite formation one may see from time to time in the nightsky, nor a meteor cluster

I live in the Spadina/Dupont area of downtown Toronto. My roommate and I were
sitting on our patio when I noticed a base-ball sized dimly glowing object in the sky directly above my house (My patio is on the roof). I immediately told my roomate to look up, he saw it instantly as it was clearly visible to
the both of us.
The object was circular, glowing a very dim white light. I couldn't make out any other physical details other than its circular shape. It passed directly over us, moving in a westwardly direction along
dupont avenue making a number of amazing turning maneouvers and moving at a seemingly incredible rate. After about 10-15 seconds it was on the western horizon no longer visible.
This thing made absolutely no sound. When
I first caught a glipse of it in my periphery, I assumed that it was a bird or something similar, because of the way it was gently flopping around in the sky and thelack of noise. However, after fixing my gaze on it I
immediately realized that this was something I had never seen before.

I was star-gazing with my boyfriend in his back yard -- I'm a pharmacy

sky. I also saw a shooting star (only one) in between our satelite viewings.
We were starring in the section of the sky where the Northern Cross lies when all of a sudden four balls of red light dashed across the sky in
front of us. I saw four lights, my boyfriend saw three -- the fourth was somewhat behind the others and farther up in the sky). The objects came from the south and were spred across the sky, they were not flying close together.
They dashed in front of us, then slowed down to a stop before they darted off in a right angled turn towards the east and disappeared. I started laughing when they came to a stop because all I could think of was "Oh my
God, they are flying in "military V" formation!!" Well..it wasn't a complete V shape but it was close. It might sound strange, but the lights seemed to me to be....translucent.

A circular light similar to a single vehicle headlight was heading in our direction very much the speed of a small plane but
higher then you would expect to see a plane or a jet. Suddenly it stopped and just stayed in one spot. After a few minutes it shifted wright went in reverse and up at an extreme speed and then we did not see it for a few
minutes but then after that we noticed in the same area travelling a short distance and dissappeatr again. This was seen by myself as well as my 17yr. old son as we were sitting in our back yard at a campfire.

Gazing almost directly overhead I observed an object slightly to the south, travelling in a straight horizontal direction from east to west. I would
estimate the object to be travelling at an altitude of 2km with a rate of speed simillar to that of a small airplane. The object made no sound, had no lights, and had no contrail. It's colour was white-ish/ silver and the sun
did reflect off of it. This was observed under a blue sky with zero cloud cover and no wind.

June 5, 2004 at
23:53 my wife, my sister and I were out with a telescope that we got at Christmas. We were in Charing Park in the Craig Henry area of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The night was partly cloudy, mostly clear skies. We were
facing directly at Jupiter, we had been viewing it with the telescope. I just now checked the evening sky map at skymaps.com and found Jupiter to have been due west of us. Earlier, I called the hotline to report our sighting,
and I reported on the phone that the object was Northwest of us, but I did say that it was righ next to Jupiter. I correct myself here, for the record, it appeared just a few degrees South of due West.
All three of us
were facing the right direction, at the right time. I can't speak for the other two, but I'm sure I was looking right at it the moment it appeared. It was a bright object, moving from South to North by Northwest OR from South
to North with slight declination. It seemed to be moving in a slight arc, but that may have been an illusion created by its trajectory. It first appeared brighter and bigger by far than any of the stars in the sky. It appeared
in the sky about as big as the eraser on the back of a pencil, held at arms length. We estimate that it was 30 to 45 degrees above the horizon, we all slightly disagree on this, but I think it's a small enough range to consider
it an accurate estimate. We all agreed that it travelled a handspan (at arms length) avross the sky, ending one fingers width south and two fingers widths below Jupiter. During this time it flared brightly three times, bright
enough to illuminate a small portion of the clouds with each flare. I have been told that a bright flare from an object close above the clouds will light up a large area of cloudcover, but a bright flare from high altitudes
will illuminate a smaller area in a 'beam'. This was probably the latter. It did not die out in one of the flares. It appeared, in the first instant, a constant intensity, flared, returned to original intensity, flared brighter
(I think), back to original intensity, had its third flare, then a distinct period of slightly lower intensity tham at the start, before vanishing without a trace.
Two more observations that we made, but I think are
suspect. We all thought it slowed down as it flared, BUT that could easily have been an illusion created by the flares. My other thought on that, and I'm not educated in this, so don't take my word for it, but maybe if it was
something breaking up in the atmosphere it actually would slow down with each flare. We also thought that it may have slightly changed trajectory, its angle descending slightly with each flare, but again, perhaps an illusion.
In shape, I suppose one could call it a "fireball". It had no tail, no debris could be seen coming off as it flared, but maybe if it had been daylight we would hae seen debris, or a tail. The colour, though,
we had to discuss. After the event, we tried to note all the details right away, but none of us ever said "What colour was it?" So now, 3 hours later, I remember it being red and green, when it flared it was more red
with yellow. The other two remember it as being blue/green and flaring just brighter blue/green.
So this was all very exciting, seeing a "UFO", filling out this report, talking to the guy at the UFO report
center. But in the end, I really don't know what we saw. I've seen pleanty of shooting stars in my life, and this was worlds apart from a shooting star. This moved way too slow, it was way too big, bright, and flashy!! On the
other hand, I have no reason to thinks it's an "unexplainable phenomena" or a flying saucer. It made no maneuvers, no course change significant enough to be sure of, nothing to indicate that it was controlled. Though
on a side note - if AVRO built an actual flying saucer that successfully lifted off, hovered and maneuvered a little then had a rough landing FIFTY YEARS AGO, imagine what 50 years of development would have done. SO I do
believe in flying saucers, but not necessarily aliens. I'm pretty sure that what we saw was not a flying saucer, but we did see something. It wasn't a shooting star, it wasn't an iridium satellite flare (which I just learned
about at heavens-above.com). So what was it? I gave this organization permission to contact me, so if you have any suggestions, or if you witnessed the event, report it to this website and they can contact me. I'd love to get a
reasonable explanation.
OH! I almost forgot! Two last details, there was no sound associated with the sighting, air traffic seemed heavy in the area in the hours before the sighting.

this thing was travelling north to south and the wind was out of the southwest. it was a dull metallic grey (not shiny) moved in a jerky line basically staying at the same height which was hard to judge because of the blue sky
background. originally i figured it to be about 200 feet or so high, however it disappeared behind some light clouds for a few seconds, reappeared, then disappeared behind heavier clouds, cloud ceiling was approximately 2500
ft. a guess at size would be substantial, in order for me to see it that high and for that long.

Tuesday, May 27th, 2004. 5:00AM After watching a movie on
my computer, I went upstairs to the back porch to have a cigarette. I was standing, facing away from the house, looking up at a "star" which I believed to be the planet Mars because it had a reddish tint to it.
I was distracted by an object moving diagonally and downwards, coming in over the neighbor's roof to my left, possibly 1000 or so feet off the ground. At fisrt I thought it was a bat or some sort of bird. It was moving quite
quickly and was about to go behind the tree in my backyard when I got a better look at it.
The object was almost translucent. It looked as though it had the texture of smoke, or a cloud, yet it retained its shape
perfectly, as it flew threw the air. I would define its shape as an arc, a sort of more rounded boomerang. The object then went behind the tree, and was temporarily out of view. I saw it come out the other side, only to change
direction, and head in an almost downwardly only direction.
I realized then, that what I was looking at was not a bird or bad or smoke or cloud or any terrestrial craft I have ever seen. Then the object simply disapeared.
I was, and still am, in a heavy state of panic and awe. I was in tears at the overwhelming site of the unknown. (I'm not crazy, it sounds weird, I know, but what would you do if you saw something you thought was from
another world.) I will be deeply moved for the rest of my life.
It should, however, be noted, that on this same day, I watched a special on TV with my housemate about UFO's, and have read numerous books about the
subject. But, I had remained more of a skeptic on the subject, and have seen dozens of shows and documenteries and yet have never seen anything this remotely unexplainable. I had always figured that if I ever saw something out
of the ordinary, it would be something similar to what I have been exposed to in films and television specials, and I would have doubts in my mind about the whole experience.
I am still shaking terribly and there are shivers down my spine. I have no doubts.

As we drove closer, the
object appeared to change shape from a V to an oval shape. It also picked up speed and started travelling in the same direction that we were going (east) and by this time it appeared to be quite far off.
I wasn't sure if
I was seeing things right - I thought perhaps that these lights were a reflection on the windshield or something but my boyfriend verified what I saw. I was still doubting what I was seeing so I stuck my head out the window
because I wanted to see the object with my bare eyes. As we were turning into our driveway, the flying object seemed to stop abruptly and then started to approach out direction (west) and as it was doing so, got much closer to
the ground (I'm not sure how low). We got out of the car and stood at the end of the driveway to watch to see where it was going. It hovered and its pattern of lights were changing now from random and extremely fast flashing to
5 bright white lights.
It was really hard to tell how far away the object was at this point but we both new that it was a lot closer than before. It did not appear that the lights were attached by any one object; rather,
it was as though they were together in a group formation. As it was hovering it was "pacing" north and south very slowly. As we walked closer to the door a red/pink light appeared and it seemed as though it were
trying to hide from our sight now. Then as we were walking in the door, it hovered back into our view. I absolutely could not believe what i was seeing. My boyfriend's witnessing to it was the same as mine.

He saw what he thought was a 'falling star' and pointed for me to look. When I looked up from the telescope, I thought it was a falling star too but then noticed it was three lights in a triangular formation. We watched then it faded away after a couple of seconds. This happened at aproximately 10:40 pm. He said when he first noticed the lights, they were in a straigt line then switched to a triangular formation then turned quickly before just fading away. We were both amazed. The lights looked like stars, moved about as fast as metors, which made us initally think they were a falling star. They made no sound. They had no blinking lights. They left no jet streams. They headed south to north...passed right by polaris. Stayed outside a while longer because I was determined to see the comet. Scarborough ON May 15th (approx 7:50-8:00pm)
Full Description of event/sighting: At dusk (approx 7:50-8:00pm) on May 15 2004, from my home in East Scarborough near Lake Ontario, looking south towards the lake, some
moving lights in the sky caught my attention. They were confined to a fairly small area of the sky and seemed to be at about cloud level. My guess is the lights were moving about perhaps a few miles off our shoreline, and would
likely have been high enough and far enough over the lake to also have been visible from the US side of the lake. It had been an overcast day and the sky at this time was clearing. It wasn't nearly dark enough yet to observe
any stars.
At first I saw one small pink-red light at cloud level traveling parallel to the ground and in a straight line moving from East to West at about the same rate as I'd expect to see planes travel. This light
flashed on and off with a regular rhythm like an aircraft and was about the same size as an aircraft light seen at such a distance. It seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, then traveled west for perhaps 5 seconds and
disappeared. I thought I had seen and then lost sight of a plane.
Suddenly from the very same place in the sky that the light originally appeared, and only seconds after the first light vanished, another light appeared.
It was the same colour and behaved exactly like the first light, even traveling in the very same line. It too disappeared in the same manner as the first light. This behavior of a light appearing, traveling for a few seconds
across the sky and then disappearing repeated 6-10 times. After a few passes the reappearing light ceased flashing as it moved across the sky. It glowed a reddish pink colour and without blinking as it moved.
The
behaviour of the light then changed. Suddenly the light was moving from west to east and towards the end of the sighting it seemed that there might have been more than one light in play. Just as one vanished another appeared.
The direction of flight changed to a sweeping arc. The flight started parallel to the ground and then curved steeply upwards and seemed to accelerate just before disappearing. There seemed to be a distinct repetitive pattern to
the flight of the light(s). As one light moved from east to west, arcing at the end of its flight, another light mirrored that pattern by flying west to east and then arced upwards at the end. The area the lights were
"playing" in the sky drifted higher and a little to the east as the sighting continued. It also seemed that the activity of the lights became more intense towards the end. They appeared and disappeared more quickly
and the flight pattern became more energetic. The best thought that comes to mind is it appeared that they were growing increasingly excited about something as the activity became quite hectic towards the end. The display of
these lights lasted about 5 minutes and was witnessed by a friend with me at the time. His impression was that the lights were chasing each other, as in a dogfight.
The flight pattern reminded me of when you see a
powerful spot light beamed in the sky circling and moving about, starting and finishing its routine in the same place every time. These lights were a lot like what you see when you use a red laser pointer, except the colour of
the lights in the sky were less intense red than a laser, rather being an almost pink sort of colour. Since the cloud cover was quite thin at this time it's unlikely that some sort of laser was beaming around on the cloud cover
(If it was an extremely powerful laser I would have seen the lights fade in and out as the beam struck thin patches of clouds. The lights I saw held intensity as they flew across the sky before vanishing suddenly.)
There
was no sound accompanying this sighting and I think the flight behavior was too radical for normal aircraft. The speed and turns were not something I've ever seen planes capable of doing, particularly without making sound. The
regular flashing of the lights in the beginning was aircraft-like, but the reddish-pink colour was unusual. I got the feeling while watching the lights that I was seeing glowing objects, something without mass (like the spot
made by a laser) rather than a solid aircraft.
In such an urban area as this I can't imagine that my friend and I were the only two people to have seen this blatant display of something quite unusual right out in the
open and in daylight. Surely our beaches and boardwalks, which provide a perfect view of the southern sky, were busy on Saturday after dinner and many people could have seen this event. I've checked into all the major local
news sources, newspapers, radio and local TV news and haven't seen a mention of this event. I hope to learn what it was that we saw, or at least hear accounts from other witnesses.

wasn't a meteorite - it was arrow-shaped with a blunt nose and resembled a military aircraft but it was completely silent. There were no flashing lights but cast a dull reddish-bronze light which illuminated the entire
underside. I could see the general shape only because of this glow.
It was travelling at high speed. It did not turn, nor change direction but continued to fly in a straight trajectory overhead, towards the north. It
appeared to be flying at a low altitude.

(Looking towards Acton) Another call came in from a fellow who again witnessed something that looked out of place in the sky and
he also shot some footage of what he witnessed. The man and his wife had some family members over to their home. The witness had been telling his sisters boyfriend about what they saw on April 24, 2004. The witnesses sisters
boyfriend looked out the window and commented, "it wouldn't be the light on the tower over there?" The witness said, what tower ! The witness looked out the window and there again was something flying around the sky.
There is no tower in the area where the sisters boyfriend was pointing out.
This time the witness grabbed his video camera and started to take some footage. Now he admits that he is a ammeter photographer and just doing
his best to get a shot of what they were observing in the sky. With the excitement of seeing something strange he admits there is shake when viewing the footage, but all of the family members who watched the film says it is
very interesting to watch and the fellow still gets the shot.
There was no multiple lights seen this time, only one object that shoots off at a fast rate of speed across the sky. The man who is filming this object, puts
the camera down for a brief second as he was discussing what he was seeing with his sisters boyfriend. When he looked up again, the light/object was back where it originally was, or when the witness first saw it. Like the man
said, it seemed impossible for something to move so quickly across the sky and return to the spot from where it came from.
When viewing the tape back at a slow speed the fellow says you can almost see the outline of the
thing, the classic saucer shaped craft. Also still viewing the tape on the slow speed they tell me you can see a burst of color, purple pinkish.
We will see what the investigator who will be visiting the witnesses comes up with.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
One thing I would like to add. It was quick thinking that the witness thought to grab
his video camera. I would suggest that folks keep a camera of some sort with them, or close by. One never knows when something like this will happen to them.

A witness called to file a report on what he and his wife saw back on April 24, 2004 at 8:30
p.m. The witnesses also said they took photos of what was witnessed which was numerous lights flying around the sky in an unusual formation.. The gentleman's wife was the first to spot the strange lights from an upstairs
window. The lady called to her husband and when he got to the window she asked, "what is that"? The husband first thought it was an airplane a fair distance away from them but moving closer towards their direction.
What started the couple thinking, was that whatever it was, moved along the horizon and eventfully passed from their line of sight due to a large pine tree which got in the way. Shortly after they lost sight of it, it came
back into their view and again sat stationary. Six to seven minutes later the object still remaining stationary the two witnesses noticed two more smaller lights which appeared on either side of the larger light which they had
already been observing. Seeing this was turning out to be really unusual the couple jumped into their car to see if they might be able to get a better look at the objects. They eventually reached a good location as to where
they could watch the lights. They had pulled off the highway beside a farmers field and this is when they started taking the photos of the objects. The fellow told me at this point he is a bit of a skeptic when it comes to
these matters, but after watching the strange lights in the sky he is re-thinking the whole topic on UFOs.
Still observing the three lights, one of the smaller objects shot off away from the larger object at a incredible
rate of speed. While still watching, another light which was sitting stationary, started to flicker out. Then all of a sudden in about 2 seconds it was in another location of the sky hovering. Another light appeared, taking the
place of the light that just had flickered out. In total there were 5 to 6 lights sitting in the sky at one time. The fellow said it certainly was a formation of lights, one large one and all the rest were smaller in size. The
large light was extremely bright and the other smaller ones were a lot dimmer.
The couple were certainly baffled over what they were seeing.

the sky directly above me. I am familiar with most types of commercial and private aircraft since my home falls within normal flight paths of air traffic (incoming and outgoing aircraft) for Ottawa international Airport. The
light I saw displayed none of the usual flashing navigational, running, collision lights and moved quickly and steadily from west to east. It was a steady white light, with no pulsing or flashing, no noise and maintained it's
course and speed during the entire event. I just checked out Heavens Above.com and a satellite tracking link there and found that what I am 99% sure is what I a saw was the ISS (International Space Station). The information

remember. I decided to go to the backroad of Ottawa Airport since the ball was seen going toward it. No sign of the event but a few cars driving around the airport in the same direction. I'm sure lot of people saw it, this is a
very clear night, cristal clear with a few light clouds floating quickly pushed by the strong wind. I'm sure the Airport radar caught it and the Canadian Forces station Letrim too, these two being very close from the place we
were at the moment. Two big commercial airplanes size of a Airbus 320 arrived at the moment I was on the airport backroad Letrim and there were some more on approach from a distance.

no explanation. The object was going too slowly to be a meteriod. It went as quickly as it came and in seconds was out of sight under timhortons.

Thunder Bay ON End Of February (exact date not given)
About 2 to 3 weeks ago i was in parking lot one evening, in Thunder Bay Ontario,
and looked up in the dark sky. I saw four lights moving together. They were too far away to be planes, yet too close to be falling stars, or satelites. They traveled in the same direction, yet moved individually. I couldnt
believe my eyes because i have always been a firm believer in people who see ufo's must be ummm, well, crazy. I told my family and listened to the news to see if anyone would mention it, but no one did. This happened in the
middle of the city, in the early evening so i was sure i would not be the only one to see this.
Our thanks to the witness for this report. We would appreciate hearing from anybody whom may have also witnessed these.
Hawksbury ON February 28th 8:35pm
Date: February 28, 2004 Time: evening ? Several people in the Vankleek Hill region (west of
Hawkwsbury Ontario) saw green and red lights hovering in the sky for several hours. A high speed plane came around and left, but the lights just seemed to stay there for a long time, sort of flashing. The witnesses are to shy
to call you about this but I know that they are very credible people from the region. They actually called one another and witnessed the same thing simultaneously . Could this have been something like a weather balloon ?
Someone said it could have been a space station, but I said why would it have lights on it ? One of the witnesses is my father (name deleted) I tried to explain that you guys can help explain the mystery and it is often very
simple but they are afraid to look crazy I guess ! thank you ! Thank you to the person for the report.

Monkland ON February 19th 7:30pm
My Husband and I are commuters from Ottawa to our rural home in Monkland, I am a medical research
technician specializing in oncology and my husband is a financial advisor. This particular evening I spotted a very bright light in the sky that was fading in and out of brightness (white light with blue and red flashes that
seemed to go in the same shape as the craft) It was a chevron shape and stayed in one spot hovering for over 30 minutes until it finally dissappeared. The strange thing about this is that it simply hovered in the same spot and
literally would light up very bright and then dissappear from our sight only to reappear in the same place. Every so often it would move slightly from one side to another, but it seemed pretty localized to that one area. As we
drove closer to our home it seemed as though we were also moving closer to it. Once we arrived home my husband and I watched it hover (it made no sound ) light up and then dissappear. We observed this phemomena for another 10
minutes until it dissappeared completely.

Durham ON February 14-15th 9:30pm
My buddy and I live in Durham Region by Lake Ontario and we went up north for someting to do.
Anyway, on the way home we noticed some strange lights, intense lights about 5-10 inches in the far distance above the horizon. There were about 3 or four scattered over the sky, some of them got intense and then faded for a
while and re-appeared, and some would stay in a particlar position and then all of a sudden jump from one spot to another. You could see them moving very quickly, quicker than any plane that I have ever seen. Maybe they were
just planes in the far distance, but one followed my car home from Lindsay and periodically lit up and went out. Today's date is Feb 15, 2004 the timespan between the first sighting until now was 9:00pm-10:30pm.

thanks to the witness for this report. We would appreciate hearing from anybody whom may have also witnessed these.
Toronto ON February 4th 8:30pm
I was standing on my front porch looking up at the Orions Belt constelation when I saw a light in the corner of my
eyes. I thougt nothing of it at first and that it was just a plane. However when I focused on it, it was very strange. It appeared to be flying at a lower altitude than a commercial airplane would be flying and was completely
silent and moving very quickly across the sky. It was three dim circles with no center ( white light) in a triangle formation appeared to be all one craft. It was much to quick and silent to be any plane as well as the lights
were not of that that you would see on any regular aircraft. It definately was not a comet or any bird. It was very strange and interesting.

Smiths Falls ON January 29th 12pm
I looked out my
window facing South-West and this long, almond shaped object appeared out of nowhere and began to move across the sky. It looked metalic and the sun shining off of it was so bright it hurt my eyes to watch. It took about five
seconds for it to move from one side of the visible sky to the other. I tried to follow it but just as I was about to move to the next room it blurred slightly and I could no longer see it. But I could hear it. It made a very
high-pitched humming sound, but it was very quiet. I had to strain to hear it.
Then I saw another craft, but it was human. I could tell because of the slow movement and the trail of white smoke from behind. It followed
almost the same path, but went past the spot the craft had vanished at. After a while anothercame by from a different angle, and another after that. They seemed to be trying to locate it.

Thunder Bay ON January 3rd 9pm
Spotted 5 or more UFOs in Thunder Bay, ON. Now, apparently up to 12 or more.
We first spotted two main blue disks that were pulsating. It
appears white lights were going towards these two main craft. Then, it would pulse red and send out these bright white lights. There appeared to be some immense shape right in the middle of the two main blue disks. It was like
a shadowy fog sometimes, but flash red occasionally.
((NUFORC Note: The witness does not indicate a date of the sighting, although we believe a date of January 03, 2004, is implied. Witness elects to remain totally
anonymous. We do not know if this is a serious report. PD))
