Dundas ON December 7th approx 9pm
I was sitting on our TV room floor at home, and we have a large window
with curtains that faces in the city of Hamilton. We are halfway up the escarpment. I noticed what I thought was a really bright star. Or maybe a planet, it was so bright. White, and twinkly.I was trying to find my
favourite TV show and got bored doing it, so I kept watching the star. After a few mins (10?) I noticed it was in a different position that it had been - I could tell by how close it appeared to our window sill. I then watched
it move very very slowly more to the right, then back to where it was.
As it was moving, i noticed a set of 3 very small white lights rotate on the left hand side. It then moved to the left hand side again, in a very
slow fashion.
My daughter called out to me so I went upstairs to check on her, she was fine - her movie was over and i turned it back on. I went downstairs about 5 mins later and I could not see the star anymore. This
was around 9:30pm.
I thought the object was a star. Then since it moved, I thought it was a new satellite (most of the ones I've seen move very fast across the sky, but this star did not look like a plane, so I thought
of a satellite.)
While this was going on, I tried to call my next door neighbour who is a pilot, i tried to call my husband, and afterwards my brother to tell them about the star and I could not get through to any of
them. I was not scared, I just thought it was really neat. I remember feeling irked that I couldn't get through to anyone to share the what I saw, so I made a note of it and planned to call Mac's planetarium to inquire about
satellites and to get a star map for the winter sky.
Dundas ON December 8th 12: 40 am
My husband who works in stoney creek, came home and woke me up to
show me something outside. To me, he appeared excited and curious. I noticed this as he is usually not fazed by much. He shut all the lights off as i left some on for him when he got home. The house was completely dark. I saw
our usual panoramic view of the city of Hamilton (which includes the bay - far off, stelco, mcmaster u and the ancaster hill). What was new was the hundreds (i did not count them all, but there were very very many) of lights,
straight up into the air, white and unmoving. They were all the same width, length. They all stopped at the same point in the sky. Where they stopped, the night was clear, and there were no stars above the lights to see. On the
left side of our view, after the last light column, I could see the big dipper.
During this time, I noticed 3 planes (we live near the Hamilton airport, this is not unusual to see planes) flying. The time would be around
1am. The planes were not all together, but one after the other. They did not seem "together." My husband found our camera and tried to take pics, but nothing showed up on the camera. Normally there is a
lot of smog and smoke from the steel plant, there was this night as well, as the plant was still on.
The night was generally really clear, all but a few small wispy clouds. We watched these lights until they were gone,
which I noticed at about 120am. I awoke several times throughout the night to check the view and the sky was cloudy.
From the time I fist saw these lights, I was amazed. I still am. I am literally dumbfounded that
nobody else reported seeing them. I was not afraid, I was really curious and amazed! I could not describe what I thought the lights were. I had/have absolutely no idea. They could not have been search lights as
they were not moving. That is all and as close as I could compare anything to.
I lost sight of the lights as they faded away and stopped at about 120am. I can not give you an exact moment but I was staring at them and
then just seemed to dissipate and then they were gone.
The next morning I made various inquiries to people/places.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing this report with us and some photos of the general area.
Phone calls to the local airport and planetarium produced inconclusive results.
Belle River ON October 12th
On the night of October 12 I was sitting in hottub stargazing as I always do. I had had a couple of sightings a couple
weeks back so I was hopeful to see something else as I had not seen anything for a couple weeks. I would like to mention that although I have always had a fascination with others reports of sightings I could never claim
to have seen anything myself until this past month. I was staring toward the east when I noticed a bright light moving southward. No blinking lights were present as the object continued on its path. I
sat back and prepared myself mentally to continue to focus on what I was seeing and not to lose sight of it.
I was astounded as I continued to observe that said object began heading specifically toward where I was. As I watched it glided steadily along and seemed to come closer to the earth. I would say that as it came toward me it could not have been higher that 700 feet in the air.
I watched transfixed as it began to pass over between the neighbours and our roof.
It continued to glow but it seemed to dim and brighten as it got closer and it also seemed to change shape. When it was closest to our house the light effects of it seemed to shift and its shape became visible to me to be a cigarish shaped grey or white object. I lost sight of it as it continued over our houses. Another thing about it was that it really seemed to glide. I could compare the way it glided to how a stone that is thrown by someone trying to skip it on the water's surface, fast but with a kind of slight up and down rythm. From where I initially spotted to when I lost sight of it took about 15 seconds. It was beyond my comprehension it could have been.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing this second report! Please see first below dated Sept. 26th.
Callander ON October 9th approx 8pm
As driving east toward home, noticed blinking red light in eastern sky. Object
appeared to hover, climb and decend very rapidly. As a flight instructor, I am very used to observing aircraft in flight, this moved unlike anything I have seen. This appeared to climb at several thousand feet per minute
verticaly, then decend just as fast and return almost instantly to a hover with little or no visible deceleration. After arriving home and continuing to observe the object, myself and the other witness began to drive toward the
object in a car to investigate. Parked in a nearby field, we witnessed it continued hovering stationary for aprox 5 min before travelling northward at aprox 200+ kts and disappearing over the horizon.

Belle River ON September 26th 11pm
While soaking in hot tub with husband after working a long day. We spotted an
UFO. It was beautiful and clear with many stars. I spotted what I thought was a satellite (which I have seen many times before). I excitedly told my husband where to look so he could see.
It ended up being unlike anything I have ever observed during many years of stargazing. My husband said that he saw it right away. As we watched we saw that it was different. It seemed to be a round light, slow moving, definitely not a plane or a shooting star as it suddenly changed directions. It moved and suddenly and quickly shifted about 45 degrees and kept going and then seemed to disappear(although it could have just gone behind a cloud). We were quite excited about what we had just seen. A neighbour was chatting with us as well but she did not see it. About twenty minutes later my husband had gone inside. I witnessed a sphere of light pass over us unlike anything I have seen before except for twenty minutes earlier. This time what I saw was orangish pink and seemed almost translucent. It disappeared from sight obscured by the tree in my backyard. At this time my neighbour said she thought she saw something. The first object was heading southwest. the second east to west. The neighbours sighting would have been going north. She did not trust her own judgement however and said she was not sure if she saw something or not. I have been waiting to go back outside and see something else. Its been really cloudy these last few nights. I wished I would have stayed out longer last Tuesday I am certain I would have seen more.

Oshawa/Whitby ON August 9th 2:45pm
This just happened five minutes ago. I just went outside to have a cigarette
and as I glanced up into the clear blue sky to the southwest for one split second I saw a silver cigar shaped object, clearly far away in the distant pretty high up, just all of a sudden vanish into thin air.
It could
have been visible for longer I have no idea, but as soon as I glanced up and saw it, it seemed to have vanished into nothing or disappear into the upper atmosphere. This is odd as right when I went to go outside I was reading
the recent report on here about someone seeing a 6 story tall object here in Oshawa back in 1991.
The front of my house faces exactly south towards the lake so it was definitely in the southwestern sky. My heart is
jumping as I type this. I live very close to the Oshawa/Whitby border so it may have been south Whitby. I am at a loss for words and my friend whom just arrived and heard my story thinks I am crazy but I know what I saw.
I hope someone else saw it as right now there is not a cloud in the sky and it is a great day out.

Ottawa ON July 6th 6:20pm
I saw a round grey object up in the sky above the city of Ottawa
yesterday(Thursday July 6, 2006) around 6:20pm. I live in the west end around Merivale rd and I saw it while standing looking east just in front of my house. It just caught my eye because it kind of looked like a satellite but
I didn't think you could see them during the day. It had no exhaust trail and then it just disappeared from the sky. Maybe someone else saw it too?
Our thanks to the witness for this report. We would be very interested

Full Description of event/sighting: On July 6th, I was upstairs in my home, and was looking to the south through a large window. I noticed a very large bright orange ball. At first I thought it was a flare or someone lighting
off a firework left over from Canada Day, it was that bright. It very low on the horizon, so this added to the thought of it being a firework.
Then when it didn't move or go out I kept watching it, not sure what it was.
I watched it for about 10 seconds, then it began to move. It was dead south of me and began heading west picking up speed and flattening out becoming a disk. I watched it as it headed west moving faster and it began
disappearing and reappearing. It did this about 4 times, always picking up speed, the when it got to a hill just southwest of the house, it did a flash of speed and took of strait west in about half a second. The whole thing
took about 40 seconds.

Location of Sighting: Backyard sky Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circle/ flat disk. Full
Description of event/sighting: I saw a light, firstly thinking it to be a falling star but it didn't fade. Then thought a meteor but the same, it didn't fade either. Passing over the property it just seemed like a flat disk,
coloured mottled amber/orange as if the setting sun was illuminating it. There was no sun though. I couldn't tell how high it was, so I have no estimation of it's size.
It travelled at a steady speed, no sound. on a
northerly to southerly course. As It passed over I lost sight from a tree, so I stood and turned as it had by now passed over, and saw it again for a moment. Lost visual again completely, to see it reappear slightly and then it
was gone.

Manitoulin Island ON July 12:20am approx.
It was this past summer up on Manitoulin Island in a tiny place called Meldrum Bay. My cousin (15 years old)
and I (16 years old) had just left my friend's house at around 12:20 a.m. ish and were walking back to my grandparents. The road that we were taking has no street lights and passes right beside the lake (in fact there is only
one single street light in the whole town so it was very dark and the sky was perfectly clear, you could see every star) so anyways we were really close to the waters edge when I saw something out of the corner of my eye so I
turned to look and directly across the bay right above the tree line there was this extremely bright white light which was bigger than any object in the sky and brighter and it was just hovering (making no sound whatsoever, you
could have heard a pin drop) then it started to move to the right and thats when I noticed that it was casting a beam of light across the entire bay..but the thing about the light was that it was of equal width (no more than
15-20cm) for the entire length, it stopped right at my cousin and my feet and you couldn't see the water through the light, it was so bright it looked like you could walk across it..like it was a solid white plank of some sort
that stretched across the entire bay...I thought that maybe it was a helicopter or a plane but anything that big and close in the sky would have been making some sort of a noise and it would have taken an EXTREMELY powerful
light to cast a beam that bright so I ruled out those options ...after that I don't really remember any specifics neither does my cousin, we just remember watching it move ever so slowly across the horizon then all of a sudden
it dissapeared along with the beam of light. It felt like we'd been watching it for hours, but it was probably no more then a few minutes. My cousin and I then looked at each other and basically said what the hell was that..we
were both extremely scared so we ran all the way home holding on to each other for dear life..when we got back we grabbed some lawn chairs and sat completely silent scared out of our wits watching the sky when I noticed a red
light way up in the sky moving horizontally but at a very fast speed ..I figured it was a plane or something but then it shot straight up in the sky (about the length of my hand if I put it up to the sky) then it started to
move horizontally ...I pointed it out to my cousin and we both started to watch it..a few seconds later it shot up on a weird angle and then dissapeared.....at that point my cousin and I had had enough so we started to yell and
try to wake up my grandparents. Ever since that day I always have nightmares about it.

Toronto ON June 16th (approx. time dusk)
Inglewood Heights Public School playground with my children. As they played, I lounged on a bench and simply gazed up at
the sky. To my amazement, I noticed a silver disc-like shape slowly moving to the east. It moved slow enough for me to be absolutely certain that I wasn't looking at a high fling bird or small conventional aircraft. My
nine year-old daughter also witnessed it. It eventually gained speed and vanished off into the distance. Three minutes later, it reappeared, virtually in the same location where I first saw it, flying erratically in a circular
fashion - stopped - and then again accelerated towards the east.

Sudbury ON June 6th 11:15pm
June 6th, my husband and I were coming home from a late diner and noticed a cotton like object suspended just west of the moon.
It was way to big to be a star and looked almost like that comet we had pass by earth a few years back just way bigger. After taking a few pictures it misteriously disapeared.

Solid like a star, no blinking lights, no sound at all. Shooting star?????........NO WAY!
It was like the brightest star we see everynight, but it moved slow like a com jet with no blinking lights.
I can only
guess it was about 20,000 feet above and then like a dimmer light it just faded and vanished.

My father and I walked to the city transit bus stop. The sun was setting, and the
sky was darkening. We had been waiting there for approximately 5 minutes. When my father pointed out something strange in the sky. I quickly looked to the east, and saw a horizontal oval shaped light, on a slant, descending
behind a house. It was moving at a steady pace, and there were no blinking lights on the object. The object disappeared from sight. After that incident I tried to find a logical explanation for what I had seen. I couldn't come

faint but not the color of any running lights of any aircraft I have ever seen and the entire crafts were glowing. They also went over so fast without a sound. Anything of this world would of had a sonic boom.Well faster then

From my school's yard, where there must've been more than 100 people, but they did not
pay as much attention to the sky as I did, and may have took the ufo as a plane..
The ufo was silver and never made any sounds, and if it was a plane, then I would have heard a sharp noise, but I didn't. It was far in
the distance and was faster than a plane, and much more silent, no noises. It looked like shiny dark silver, was hovering in high altitude and was completely silent, it was flying at a high speed, as if it was flying faster
than a plane in the same hight above ground.
The disk was more sharp looking than a plain one, kind of like it had another part to it rather than a disk as whole. It flashed a sun like light once and another after a few
seconds again, then when my friend caught my attention, I looked back but it was gone.
The school yard had more than 100 people on it, there was 2 basketball courts on the left side where people played, there was trees
on the left side around the corner of the school, there were houses infront of my followed by a forest like area, and the sky was mostly sunny and clear with only a few light, thin clouds.
The shape was a disk, kind of
like a cigar, but looked more like a disk, and like there was some type of other parts to it sticking from the sides, it was silver, and shiny. It flashed lights 2 times. It hovered over in the distance, from right to left, and
then disappeared. There was only 1 of them. It didn't make any sound, and was silent the whole time. It was going at a faster speed than an airplane, and smoother, plus there wasn't any type of trace of fuel coming out the
back, such as the while gas/line an airplane leaves in the sky, but this object didn't leave a trail such as that.

Hey, my name is ((deleted)). I live in hamilton ontario canada. I have witnessed 3 UFO sittings, over
the past couple of months over Lake Ontario. In hamilton there is a street called burlington street which goes straight towards the lake, so you can see a full view of lake ontario while you are driving, i drive this was every
morning around 7:30 - 7:45ish. My first sighting happened about 3 months ago, when me and my friend were driving down burlington street at 7:45, there was clouds covering the lower part of the lake, but it was a bright sky
above the clouds, now all these sightings have happen while i was driving, so we only caught glimplses of them. all of a sudden we saw something shot through the clouds and into the sky, leaving behind a straight line in the
clouds. we thought it was really weird.. the second sighting happen at the same time 7:45 while were driving on burlington street again, it was a clear sky, and we saw just a little swiggle in the sky, and it was not moving
just sitting there, and i have seen video of the exact same sighting before, it was very weird. But todays sighting topped everything, as we were again driving down burlington street, looking at the view of the lake.. i thought
i saw a bird glidding into the wind, but then i relized, it wasnt moving, me and my buddy started to take a closer look, it was a craft!! hovering over the lake, in a disk shaped form!! just sitting there watching all the cars
going by on the highway. i know what i saw and it was for sure a disk. I know that there is alot of sighting over lake ontario, know i know why. Ive witnessed 3 of them. If you have any questions please get back to me.

As I was driving west (note, this is correction: first submission I indicated east) on 401, I made my first sighting of a UFO, which crossed
the highway some distance in front of me (not a good judge of distance) and disappeared into the trees on the other side, to the south.
It was grey, with a darker grey circular top and looked very much like what one
might have as an image of a "flying saucer" - it moved smoothly and quickly. There were no lights.
Initially, I thought it was a remote control device but quickly realized it was way too large, then considered
whether it was a military test vehicle of some sort and finally, that it may be a UFO.
Unfortunately, I was on the 401 being passed by transports and could not look to the side when I passed the spot it it had crossed,
but thought I would pass the info along in the event someone else saw it.
None of the characteristics below apply. Windows were up, so no info re sound. This is about all I can say.

While riding public transit I spotted a silver sphere like craft moving quickly then slowing right down in skies north of Peterborough. My roommate who was also a
witness didn't see what I was talking about at first until one of the objects gave off a bright reflection. I then spotted another similar craft further towards the horizon. We got off the bus at the 7/11 on lansdowne street
west to get a better look. The closest object at this time appeared to be hovering then a change in its reflection (brighter) then it started moving towards the west horizon very quickly. We heard no noise, saw no lights.
Perhaps weather balloons but I don't believe they can stop in mid air like these objects did. All to strange for me, this is not the first time I have seen stange craft in this region of ontario either.

While locking up the house at approx 2235 hrs, I noticed a bright orange light over the roof of my neighbours residence. I was'nt surprised by this since our
area is in the flight path of he local airport. At this hour though, it is typically courier flights inbound from the US. One other oddity was the fact that the oblect was going paralell to the flight path normally used by the
aircraft. The orange light was moving away from my position, slowly and did not appear to change altitude. I did not see anyother craft at first and would estimate that it was around 2 miles from my position. As I watched,
another orange light approached from the south and flew paralell to the first object. The two craft then changed color to a dull red and seemed to elongate into an oval shape befor they sped off out of sight within seconds. The
red effect trailed out behind them and appeared to, "wave" as if in turbulance, (sic). The sky was cloudly with an outside temperature of ) degrees celsius. I watched the news and heard nothing of anyother reports in

This event happened on the Friday evening of February 24, 2006. I was
returning from a museum visit with my girlfriend when I noticed a couple of strange white lights close to the horizon. I glanced at that a few times and noticed that they didn’t look normal at all. My girlfriend noticed them as
well and we were trying our best to figure out what they were. They looked like two almost straight lines, close to a crescent moon maybe and they were extremely bright. They were moving a little back and forth in the sky and
they looked like they were very far away, but looked very large. There were a few dark clouds above them, very thin in an otherwise crystal clear sky. We went through a drive-thru to get a coffee and I phoned my brother to go
outside and take some pictures. While I got my coffee the objects were out of sight and we could not see them for about five minutes max. When we were back on the road one of them had disappeared, completely. The sky was a dark
blue all around and we could see no trace. One was still there however, still bright as it was previously. As we drove westward towards my home we saw the object slowly move up towards the thin piece of patchy dark cloud above.
It moved slowly towards it until it vanished behind. (The cloud was very sparse and very thin, yet the brightness completely vanished.) I continued to watch it and suddenly my girlfriend pointed out an object which was rising
from the top of the cloud. This object was not bright however like the previous one, it was black and looked like it was extremely high and moving extremely fast. It looked like a giant 'V' shaped object and was moving higher
and higher above the clouds. It was still slightly light outside at the point, enough to see the object fairly well. It did not look like a plane, maybe it was, but I still wrestled with its shape and the apparent speed in my
mind. I got to my home and ran inside to get a camera as my girlfriend kept watch. My brother had not seen it, he looked in the completely wrong direction! Either way, I ran outside with the camera and it had just vanished. My
girlfriend said it looked like it just went so high it was out of view. We both are still trying to look at this rationally but the objects we so strange looked and acted so strangely we are having a hard time arriving at any
concrete conclusion. If anyone else in Cornwall has seen this I would more than love to compare our experience, it truly was odd.

Quiet strange large lights hovering in the sky. I
was driving back home on Heron Road. I noticed lights in the sky but they looked strange. I see planes often because I live near an airport but it was too big and had too many lights to be one. And it was also quite low and it
wasn't moving. It was almost like hovering. I tried to get a better view but I was driving. Then it started moving slowly north. This thing I saw had white and red lights. It looked just like a row of lights but it was very
long. There were for sure two bigger red lights in the middle...I can't remember if there was a third one in the centre and a bit higher then the other two red lights. Then there were a bunch of smaller white lights on the
sides lined up beside the red lights. So basically it looked like straight white lights on the endsand in the centre were the red lights. I couldn't tell the shape of this object because it was dark. All I saw were the lights
and they were just a straight line. And it was big and quite low. It had too many lights to be a plane.

and house. The light was a blue green again. I decided not to call my husband and talk about it because of the first incident. I went to sleep and the next morning asked him if he had turned out the outside light before turning
on the downstairs TV.
He then asked me if I had seen the flashing lights? I was thrilled because now I wasn't alone. The lights came from the east and lit up the entire house enough for him to see them from a wee little
window in my office on the east side of the house, which shone though to our living room to catch his eye. My husband is a very down to earth, logical and grounded kind of a guy and he couldn't explain it either. We have lived
up here for 20 years and could almost rattle off the flight patterns of all the planes from Montreal to Toronto because that's all we can see at night from our windows.
Friday night January 6, at 9:00 pm my husband was
standing out on the deck because the power had gone out in our area and he saw another flash in the north east direction again! He says it was like a spot light compared to the previous flood of light. We both began to wonder
if we've seen that many unusual things in just a month, how many things we have missed by sleeping through it?"
We would like to thank the witness for their report. Please note that this area of Durham has been the
location of several strange events over the years. We would appreciate hearing from anyone else who may have experienced something similar particularly in this location and time frame.
Sudbury ON January 1st 5am
Very bright light falling on an angle. I saw a bright light that looked kind of like a flare. But it fell on an angle, and a little
faster than a flare. Then it disapeard aprox 1000 feet from the surface. It did not flicker like a flare or a star, it looked pretty solid. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD))
