North York ON Approx. Summer 1978
I was around 12 years of age and old enough to know better (1978 approx). Living in a apartment complex on the
corner of Don Mills and Van Horne Avenue in North York Ontario, myself and a bunch of kids had finished our dinner and as usual ran outside to enjoy the last few hours of the day we had.
This particular evening was warm,
it was summer time, the sky was clear and the time was approximately 6:00 pm, remember the position of the sun.
I noticed something a object coming down from the sky, once myself and the other kids realized this was not
a plane we gathered to a fence that was around the parimeter of the building so we could get closer.
The object in the sky came as low as the height of 3 apartment buildings (I remember studying the building while the
craft was hoovering). Peering up at the object that was hoovering had pulsating lights around it. The object was saucer like in structure, and the bottom centre had a bit of a buldge. The metal was shinny and was purley metal
from what I could see. Of course could not see the top of the craft, we were bascially not far from being underneath the craft. It hoovered for what seemed like eternity and though I don't know if time stoped because I ran to
the intercome of the building, buzzed my parents who were entertaining friends and they couldn't make out what I was saying, also my parents balcony was on the other side of the apartment building. I then ran to the
superintendants window and no one was home.
As I ran back to where the other kids were, the craft hoovered and moved sideways a few times. We ran across the street in order to get closer underneath the craft (crazy eh!),
then all of the sudden the craft started to move a little more and lifted off straight out of the atmosphere with speed that was unbelievable.
I have to note further up the street is a heavy area of hydro transformers beside Seneca College.
I have always wondered if others saw the craft in this area and if there were any documentation of a craft hooving in the
same area.
Our thanks to the witness for this report. If you have seen this object or have any further information please contact us at

Lake Scugog ON
I have witnessed UFOs on three separate occasions. I also experienced something very alien. My first sighting occurred when I was in my teens shortly after
our family had moved to a small town on the edge of a lake North of the city (Lake Scugog). One cool summer night my father, younger brother, and myself, had gone outside to rescue the cat from a fight with another
cat. After breaking up the fight we were commenting on how crystal clear the stars looked. At this point we noticed a bright object moving from South to North. It should be noted that my father had been an
aircraft controller in Scotland. This did not looked like an aircraft. It had no flashing lights. My father figured it was a satellite. He had just finished saying this when the object suddenly traveled in zig
zag pattern covering the great distance in an East/West direction at a great speed. Then it returned to its original direction at a very slow speed and vanished.
The second sighting took place at night during the winter. My parents had gone out for the evening so I was baby-sitting my younger brother and sister who were
in bed. My friend Larry was there also. After we had just finished watching the hockey game, Larry started to fall asleep. He wanted me to wake him up after the late news because there was some movie we wanted
to watch. After the news I woke up Larry and walked over to the television to change the channel. As I passed by the living room window I noticed it seemed to be very bright out for the middle of the
night. Then I noticed the shadows of the trees around the house were moving across the snow. When I looked up I could see a large object moving slowly over and away from the house. The object was glowing green
with an orange rim. I called for Larry to come to the window. As he got there the object moved away. We waited for a second and then we could see the object again high in the sky about quarter mile away. It
suddenly came down out of the sky toward the ground at a very high-speed. We thought it was going to crash into the ground, but as it got closer to the ground it slowed to a hover and then landed behind the trees.
We could see it glowing through the trees for some time. Larry and I contemplated whether or not to go out and see what it was. We knew the snow in the fields where the object had landed was hip deep, so we decided
against going out to investigate at night. By this time the object was gone. The next day Larry and myself waded through the snow to the spot where the object had landed. It had been snowing all morning and we found
nothing.
Well you asked for it. When I say Alien I don’t mean extraterrestrial. I don’t know what it was. It was just strange. I was out one night, on my bicycle, taking the dog
for a run. We lived at the end of a road, south of the village. I had just come to the last corner before the short stretch home, when the dog, a large black lab, took off ahead of me growling and barking. He headed for the
opening to a cottage driveway. I could then see what he was after. At first I thought it was a big white cat but then it appeared just like a white shape. I got off my bike to stop the dog from attacking it. While I was
shouting at the dog it moved towards a bunch of cedar trees and then stopped. I thought this was strange. If it was a cat why did it not go up the tree? Now this dog was pretty fearless and stubborn. Just as he was about
to pounce on it, “IT” stood up. “IT” was about three feet tall, with long willowy arms and a large head. My first thought “IT” was a big white monkey. Then came a sound that I have a hard time describing. It was
like a very loud sub-sonic grunt or blast. I don’t think the sound came from “IT”, I felt surrounded by the sound. I could feel it over my entire body. The dog stopped in its tracks, turned, and ran behind me with its tail
between its legs. I was so scared; I could not get on my bike. I ran down the road with the dog, pushing the bicycle ahead of me. When I got home, my parents had guests over, so I went to bed. They came into my room to ask me
if I was all right. I said yes and tried to go to sleep. I did not tell my parents what had happened till the next day. They said they could tell that something was wrong and with the look on my face that I was not lying. This
happened twenty-five years ago but I remember “IT” like it was yesterday. Courtesy Ian Harper
*UFO Encounter Fall 1971
For what it's worth, in the Fall of 1971 I had an intense encounter in Ontario, Canada about 75 miles from anywhere. We were on a road that had about a 150 mile stretch
between major towns (a couple of really small towns were here and there, but they were really far apart). It was an incredibly clear night, no moon, no lights from civilization to disrupt the view. We were bored. There were
four of us in the car. My husband of the time was driving, I was sitting in the middle and our friend Yvonne was sitting beside the passenger window. Our friend Darryl was laying in the back seat taking a nap.
Since
Yvonne was bored, she was watching the sky. She saw two objects that were quite bright and seemed to be chasing each other. She pointed them out. All of us started to watch these objects (we woke up Darryl in the back seat).
There were clearly disc shaped and made no discernible sound. It was like they were playing tag or having a dog fight. They did impossible things. I saw one go forward incredibly fast, stop instantaneously, and then back up
going as fast as it had gone forward. I saw the other one make a ninety degree turn without slowing down.
Rumors about UFOs had been spreading and we had heard about them. (I was born in 1950.) There were various
stories. Up until that night I had thought it would be really neat to see one and wasn't afraid of the sky or the night or the stars. We felt some kind of connection with the objects (like in our minds, telepathy). One of the
objects left very quickly. It was as if it had completely left our known universe, or solar system, in an instant. When it sped off, I could feel it inside my body (perhaps a low frequency sound wave that can be felt but not
heard?). The other craft stayed in the area. At this point I could "hear" myself talking to the occupants and I told them that I had heard about them and that some of them were good and some of them were bad and
wondered what kind they were. I clearly heard a "Don't worry. We're just here to watch." I thought back, "Okay. You watch us and we'll watch you." It then came down to just above the treetop level and
matched our car speed (which by then was probably around 40). I could see the outline of the trees against the light of the craft. It was clearly a saucer-shaped object and it was spinning. Again there was no sound, even though
it was now so close, but again I could "feel" it inside my body.
Did I mention that it was around 2 am or so when we first sighted these objects and that it was 75 miles to the next town?
At that
point, my conscious memory picks up when we are approaching the next town and the sun is coming up. We are all four quite wide awake and talking about what we just witnessed and trying to decide what, if anything, we should do
about it. We thought about going to the police, then figured that a) they wouldn't believe us and think we were crazy or on drugs (which we weren't at the time), or b) if they did believe us and went to check it out it was so
far away, and the craft was so fast, there was little likelihood that it would still be there, so there would be nothing for them to find, and then we would be back to a. So, we didn't tell anyone.
This happened in
September, around labor day. Up north. At that time of year, the sun is starting to come up later in the day. We were only 75 miles away from the next town when the experience started. At the beginning we were doing average
highway speeds (around 55). No matter how I calculate it, I have some missing time...at the minimum several hours. The fact that everything was so clear up to the moment that the craft matched our car speed, and then there is
this huge gap (we never saw it leave, it just suddenly wasn't there anymore) is highly suspicious. From that night on, I started years of nightmares about being trapped on a spaceship trying to hide and not having anywhere to
go. I was terrified of the night sky. I definitely did NOT like the idea of EVER seeing one of those objects ever again.
Through hypnosis (I finally couldn't stand it anymore) I recreated/recaptured the events that I
could not consciously remember. Of course, I will always wonder whether those recaptured memories are accurate or not, since my conscious mind did not have those memory patterns. But considering the event, the loss of time, and
the ensuing nightmares and fear, I can only assume that some traumatic event took place that night.
My opinion is that there is, without a doubt, something going on, and it frustrates me that we have people who think
it's "funny" to create fake evidence and fool us (like we're all stupid for believing them) and people who aren't willing to look at what evidence there is and try and figure out what is actually going on. I, from my
experience, do not believe that this is a benign phenomena. Whatever it is, whether it's beings from another planet, another plane of reality, the future us, a manifestation of our subconscious that has infected the human race,
it was not a pleasant or beneficial experience for me, or for a lot of ordinary people out there. We need to know more.
For what it's worth, though, I do believe that something happened to me. I have no hidden agenda. I
know what I saw, and there was no moon, or clouds, or swamp gas, or drugs, or reason for us to make up such an encounter. I have driven on deserted roads in the dark before and since and not seen a thing.
*Amherstview Ontario Fall 1979
I was a teenage girl and I lived in Amherstview, Ontario. (just a small sub-division west of Kingston, Ontario...along Lake Ontario.) It was Fall, as I remember
the air being chilly and it was really windy and the leaves were blowing off the trees as we walked. My girl friend and I, had eatin supper and were on our way to the stores to 'hang-around' with our friends. We'd
just left my house, walked up our street hill, went through a fenced pathway and were walking towards the park. (South towards Lake Ontario, You can see the Lake across the highway from where I was.) I was listening
to her talk and was watching the ground as I walked, thinking I wished I had of stayed home cause it was chilly out when....the weirdest feeling came over me, everything went silent (accept her)...and this big shadow cast came
overtop of us...I was filled with fear to look up..as I knew something was above us...I looked up and saw it, I was stunned for a minute, in shock! I looked around us then, (there's a row of the 'backs' of houses up on a
hill backing unto the park)...I could see a family eating their supper around their kitchen table, I thought...'turn around you idiot's, look at this', and I could see the trees still blowing, but where I stood, everything was
still...I then stopped, and Robin stopped talking by then too and she was looking up in amazement...(her mouth dropped open). Above us was an enormous round space craft? It was huge it covered the whole park and was just
above the trees, it made no noise at all...I like to describe it as being a Mica colour, (like the rock called Mica), almost iridescent or glowing, there was a dome like 'belly' in the middle that was a darker colour and all
along the top of it were red blinking lights...digital lights, like on a digital clock, you know? This flying craft was actually 'hovering' over us, as though it were looking at us while we stood stunned looking at it.
Then the silence was broken with Robin letting out the most deafening scream...she started running towards the lake, I didn't know what to do, so I ran behind her..that's when I noticed the aircraft was moving slowly now
also in the same direction we were running and I came to my senses..."Robin, I yelled, turn around, where are you going?, turn around, lets run back...she finally turned around and we started running back towards the
pathway's to my house...The flying craft kept going towards the lake but extremely slow...My heart was just pounding with excitement and I was running as fast as I could because I figured I could show it to my parents before if
flew out of sight...Robin was in hysterics, bawling and crying and totally out of breath when we reached my house. I plowed through our kitchen door and convinced my parents to come out in the backyard...Dad, Dad, I seen a
flying saucer...Dad come here, quick! Look do you see it??? See the red lights?? Do you see them?? Well that's 'all' both my parents were able to make out was the red lights flashing. (As by then the craft was through the
park across the highway and over Lake Ontario just to the left of Fairfield National Park). My Father then decided to call Kingston’s Airport and ask if anything was 'flying' at the moment in that area..(as the Airport is in
that direction)..We figured they must be able to see it out there window...but the guy on the phone said "He doesn't see anything, and nothings in that area, that maybe your daughter saw a star twinkling...sometimes people
mistake stars for UFO's". (What a jerk). Then he also called the local radio station to see if anyone else reported anything unusual, but they said "Nope", and hung up. It was quite the
experience...and I'm still trying to talk myself out of what I saw, cause how could that be? For several years later, I experienced some weird dreams, I blamed on the 'experience.' One where I'm in this bright room
standing alone and above me are 2 men with pale white skin and big dark eyes and wearing long ivory robes, they are standing on some balcony, peering at me over a railing of some kind...they don't speak, but I know what they're
saying....one is a 'good' man and one is mean, the good man demands for them to release me 'because she's one of the good ones' but the mean man is not too pleased about the decision to release me...then I wake up! The
other dreams are pretty scary....of 'them' attacking earth and so on. Well I hope you 'believe' my story, I'd be willing to take a lie detector test. As for Robin...I've lost contact with her over the years...after that
night things weren't the same with us. She, for instance, told me she never wants to discuss this 'flying' thing ever again, and if I tell anyone and they ask her, she'll deny seeing anything. (I don't understand
why she wouldn't want to discuss it...who cares what others think, I know I'm not crazy...I KNOW WHAT I SAW and I will never forget it!!
**Ottawa Ontario Aug. 31,1979.
Dear Sir,
On Aug. 17, 1979, I was flying from St. Jovite, Que., to Arnprior, Ont; heading 270~. I was in a single prop, fixed wing, white with blue markings, 1974,
Cherokee Warrior aircraft. I was sitting beside the pilot in the cockpit. The two passenger seats behind us were not occupied. Please note: neither myself or the pilot were under the influence of alcohol or
drugs...[text faded on bottom of page]... We are both healthy, stable, cool, calculating individuals, not given to halucinations or hysteria. We have known each other over 25 yrs. I am, by profession, a
medical
technologist. The pilot is, by profession, a police officer of approximately 16 yrs. experience. He is also a cattle farmer, and has good fortune in the stock and bond exchange over the past 30 yrs. He is a pilot of many years experience, and owns the aircraft we were flying in... No. C-GOUD. We were cruising at an altitude of...[text faded on bottom of page]... Ottawa. We were above the Gatineau hills, approximately 40 miles N.E. of Ottawa. Visibility was excellent - maximum, approximately 40 miles or more, minimum , 25 miles. The time of the following experience was 2100 hrs. The pilot's watch stopped at 2100 hrs, mine was not affected. I looked out of my window and observed the (R) wing becoming red in color. I then looked to my left, past the pilot's head, and observed the the (L) wing was also red in color. I mentioned my observation to...[text faded on bottom of page]... performance of the aircraft. The pilot said to me, "the aircraft is slowing down - our airspeed is "0" - the instruments are behaving strangely." I said to the pilot "take it down 1000 ft.".He replied, "I can't, I can't control the aircraft; the controls are jammed or something - we should be falling yet we aren't". I said, "there is something out there - it must be exactly overhead; I can't see it" - The pilot agreed. At that point we both felt the aircraft being pulled upwards...[text faded on bottom of page]... appeared to be stationary in the sky, was being drawn upwards. The pilot looked out the right window and said to me, "My God, look at the size of it; it must be close to 300 ft. in diameter." When I looked, I saw a gigantic red ball of energy, close to the right wing and close to the aircraft. It sped away rapidly and as it did it appeared to be white light on the reverse side. The depth of it was approximately 50 ft. It disappeared into a large dark gray cloud to the west of us, only to re-appear in the same cloud rolling towards the orange ...[text faded on bottom of page]... it rolled, we saw it's red radiant side then its white radiant side, as it rolled along the cloud exposed to our view. When it sped away from our aircraft, we had a falling sen- sation. The aircraft was returning to normal. The altimeter read 5000 ft. We estimated that we must have fallen 1000 ft. before we got this reading. In total we estimated that we had been drawn upwards 2000 ft. at least. At 4000 ft., we were flying once again, right on course, just as it had been before this experience. The temperature ...[text faded on bottom of page]... This experience lasted 5-8 min. approximately... by my watch. We ruled out St. Elmos fire because of the duration of the experience, plus "its" re-appearance in the distant cloud. As we descended to land at Arnprior airport, the rolling, red and white, energy ball, disappeared into the orange sky of the sunset. I am reporting this to you as I feel it is my duty to do so. You may keep this for your records. We feel that we were very fortunate. This thing could have ...[text faded at bottom of page] be so fortunate. The pilot is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, Ont; telephone XXXXXXXX He can usually be reached mornings 9 a.m. to 12 noon, with the exception of Wed and Sat and Sun. Should you wish to contact him regarding this matter, please use discretions, as his young wife is insanely jealous of him, and very protective of 2 young children. She does not respect him or his rights. She opens his mail and interferes with his phone calls. Try to speak ...[text faded at bottom of page]... for the time being at least, should you not be able to speak with him privately. If he cannot speak freely, leave your name and number and he will return your call. Or better still, phone or write me, and I will relay your message to him. This later (sic) method would be more reliable. The pilot has hesitated informing you of this sighting due to his marital set up. He is presently proceeding with divorce proceedings however that is not yet completed. Your co-ordination would be most [text faded at bottom of page]. At the advice of my personal physician, here in Arnprior, I requested that screening tests be done to determine whether or not,the pilot and myself were exposed to excess radiations, and absorbed same. I made this request Mon, Aug. 20th, to Dr. Wate of Radiation Protection Bureau 998-4708 under the Federal Health and Welfare Dep't. 996-4950, by telephone, and I must say that he was less than helpful, or co-operative. He claimed our case to be "beyond his realm of experience, and let the matter drop at that.”

Bruce’s Mill Summer 1977
In the summer of 1977, I was attending a sleep over camp at Bruce's Mill
(YMCA), which is located near Major Mack and Woodbine Ave. During our campfire, we noticed blue and red flashing lights over a farmers field. We went to bed after the campfire and heard some noises. A large group of us crossed over a small hill, and saw in a field that a silver metallic ship had landed. It's hatch or door was open, everyone screamed and ran back to their tents scared. A councillor said that he had been chased by something, but could not confirm. The next morning we checked where the object had landed and there were visible marks where the craft had landed. There were alot of witnesses, since I was very young I didn't follow up on this occurance. but I would like to know if anyone else had this experience that attended the camp during the summer of '77.
Our thanks to the witness for this report.
Cambridge ON March 12th, 1978
It was so long ago, but I do remember the date, it was March 12/78 I believe it was a Wednesday night around 8:15pm at night. It was in the town of Cambridge,
Ontario. I was hoping maybe someone else might have seen this object too. I do not wish to have my name published though. I find the UFO scenerio very interesting, because there have been so many sightings all over the
world, people are finally starting to at least have an open mind about it.
Please note: The witness saw the object to the North approx. 1/4 of the way up from the
horizon. The witness is interested in hearing of any other potential sightings from this area and time frame. You may contact us with possible further information via ufos@pararesearchers.org and we shall pass these along to the witness.
Niagara Falls ON January 1st 1971 1am
In van driving home. Van stalled beside Winery. One block ahead, hovering over an old schoolhouse was bright lights - Red and white circling and pulsating green light on the bottom. Van would not restart.
Then gradually five more crafts joined the first and they took off into clear sky in V formation. Then just vanished. Van started as soon as they took off.
At
1 a.m. as my boyfriend and I were traveling home from the Falls. We were at Chateau Gai Winery and the Ford Econoline Van stalled. I immediately noticed some bright lights about 300 feet in front of us and at first commented "What is a helicopter doing out here at this time of night?" As I focussed more closely (my boyfriend was frantically trying to restart the van that has never stalled prior) I realized that it was disc shaped - some kind of bubble on top with white and red lights swirling around the middle. On the bottom was a pulsing green light. I was in awe and wanted to go closer. The petrified boyfriend wouldn't allow me to get out of the vehicle (held my arm tight). A moment later another object joined the first, then another, and another until there were five crafts in all hovering above this old school house. They seemed to steady themselves and then propelled into the sky in a V-formation. My boyfriend again tried to start the van - in hopes of following. It ignited immediately. But within seconds of this the crafts just vanished from sight. It was a cloudless sky - clear, crisp night with lots of stars visible. (New Years Eve) Neither of us had taken anything intoxicating (I was 17 and he was 23). Eleven years later I went back to the sight with a sister and niece to see about the crop circle phenomenon. The old school house was replaced with a Community Centre. Behind it was a barbed wire fence that separated the property from the Hydro Power lines (Sir Adam Beck Generating Station). We hopped the fence and were amazed to discover 5 perfect areas, about 20 feet in diameter, where the grass was growing flat on the ground in a circular fashion. It was electric!
Ottawa ON Mid - Summer 1975
While returning home about midnight in mid summer 1975, I turned the
corner in a suburban district of Ottawa and I say a spherical object about a meter in diameter hovering about 3 meters above the center of the street. The object was bobbing around slightly and it surface seemed to be radiating multi-coloured light that was rotating around its perimeter. The light was of very pure colors of orange, blue, red and white and seemed to be rotating in patches all over its surface. I stopped to observe it for a few seconds and then began to approach slowly in my vehicle. I got to within about 60 feet and the object began to rise slightly and move off toward the right side of the street. It floated behind a tree and between two houses in the direction of the next street over. I went around the block and once again saw it hovering above the middle of the next street. This time as I approached slowly, it moved immediately in the same manner and direction without letting me get closer than about 150 feet. Once again it floated between houses in the direction of the next street. Again I went around the block and for a third time it was hovering over the middle of the street. This time I accelerated towards it and it took off like a shot. I have been present at military live fire trials at night where tracer rounds were being fired and this object moved considerably faster than a bullet. It was out of sight in a fraction of a second. I have never seen anything move that fast. There was no noise or any other affect that I could sense from this object.

Brantford ON May 30th 1970
While watching the eclipse of the moon I noticed a light far out in the heavens that was quite larger and brighter then the other stars that were visable at the time. I have seen aircraft with the sun shining on them
and it was not this situation at all. the shape of the light was perfectly round and seemed like it was coming straight down towards earth. After watching it's approach for about an half hour I went in the house for what I
would say was another half hour to do some things . The unusualness of this light that was coming from from the heavens was still on my mind so as soon as I was finished doing what I had to do I went back outside. I no sooner
got out the door and onto the lawn when two little old ladies that were standing on the corner, waiting for a bus, reported to me ."Look at the helicopter over your head!" I looked up and saw this disk shaped object
hovering , maybe 50 feet over my head. I said to the ladies that I didn't think It was a helicopter because there was no absolutly no noise There were lights all around the perimeter that seem to alternate red, green and white.
I'm sure if I picked up a stone and threw it I could have hit it. The u.f.o. stayed still for close to five minutes without making a sound then slowly turn as if on an axis and moved away at a leisurely pace. The reason for
writting this letter is to find out if anybody else has seen the direction from which these obects come from. Although it has been many years since this incidence has occured I still can walk out and point to the exact position
and path that the object came from in the heavens.

Update to above report: Received Nov. 2005
While living in Branford around that time I had an encounter while driving home along near the Chapel of the Mohawks at about midnight.
I pulled over because I
believed I was being stopped by the police, although I had not noticed any other lights behind me, all of a sudden there were flashing white and red lights right behind me bright enough to light up the interior of the vehicle.
I assumed a police cruiser was stopping me.
After I pulled over (it is a deserted stretch of road) The lights seemed to go out yet the flashing effect was still evident around me. I exited the vehicle and was amazed
to see a "conventional UFO" shaped disk object with a bubble top right above me and not very high ( I am sure I could have hit it with a rock).
I estimate it to be about 30' in diameter and it had rotating
white, red and green lights "travelling" counter clockwise around the perimeter. It looked very wobbly although stationary. For some reason I was not afraid of it and stared at it for several minutes, then I did feel
apprehensive so jumped back in the vehicle and sped for home about two minutes away.
The object followed and took station above our home. I rushed up stairs to the bedroom and looked out the window at it. It
travelled very slowly and gradually drifted off and out of sight.
I am sure the Brantford Expositor printed a story about a city worker who was buzzed by it while he was working a piece of city equipment, also there
was a story of residents in an apartment complex who called the authorities because the object was over the complex and the TV signals were being jammed. If I remember they reported that the police and fire department attended
the complaint.
I did see the object on the next two consecutive nights after while driving along hwy 2/52 from Ancaster to Brantford, it travelled parallel to the highway at about 50 mph.
I recollect the
article cited both incidents I have noted although they may have been different articles in the same time frame.
In particular the city worker was apparently operating a piece of equipment in the early morning hours, it
had a yellow flashing light on it. If memory serves, the same object as I encountered earlier in the morning "buzzed" his vehicle and caused him to abandon it in favour of being in it. His description of the object
was very close to mine and happened later on the same date.
It is the date that would be validated by the Expositor articles (I am not sure at all of the date from memory although I lived in Brantford from 1966 until
1977). In the case of the apartment complex episode, I believe the story in the Expositor appeared the same week as the "city" worker incident.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing the above. We have contacted the Brantford Expositor twice in regards to archived issues and have to date received no response from
them. If anyone has any further information we would like to hear from you. uforeports@pararesearchers.org
Niagara ON June 1973
Heading back to T.O from Niagara along the Q.E highway on a clear June afternoon. I observed an opaque silver-grey sphere hovering above a field to my right. I asked my husband to pull over. I walked as close as
possible, it was perhaps 40' up, stationary, no sound nor lights. Estimated size was 20 to 30' in diameter. It's color now had a more translucent pearl sheen. My husband retreated back to the outside of the car. I was very
curious and observed it for at least 5 minutes more when my husband suddenly demanded I come away and get into the car. As I backed away slowly, I found myself yanked and shoved into the car by my now panic stricken
husband.(Unusual behaviour) He literally burned rubber down the highway. Shocked with his behaviour, he insisted that because we didn't know what it was that we should not stay. He was clearly shaken but it set me off to
investigate UFOs, something I had previously no interest in. An interesting footnote: He had denied this experience for a decade saying I must have been with someone else, then suddenly began to tell the story. He truly didn't
recall ever denying the story. Although our sighting was not as dramatic as many, it is an honest account of an object unknown and the unusual change of color.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing this report with us. Webmaster's note: The husband's reaction and later lack of recall is actually not that uncommon for those who have
had such a close range sighting. I have read many similar reports over the years.
Amherstview ON Fall 1978 Approx. 1:45 am
"During the fall of 1978, I can't recall the date, I was with some friends drinking at a bar. We closed the bar and were heading to Bath Ontario. While travelling west on Highway #33 west of Amherstview a bright
light shone into the car through the back window. The driver of the car pulled over and stopped as we thought that a police car was behind us. We looked out the rear window and saw two very bright lights in the sky. The lights
were side by side about halfway up the horizon. All of a sudden the lights gained altitude very quickly and at about the height of 3/4 of the horizon the lights travelled away from each other in a north south direction. I have
never seen aircraft move that quickly and I am sure that they were not any kind of airplane. When we reached the house we talked for a few minutes and didn't think that anyone would believe us, but we phoned the police anyway.
The police said that the sighting had already been reported by a resident on Amherst Island. I am sorry that I don't have any more information, but it was a long time ago and at the time I wasn't really interested in UFO
phenomenon. Thank you.
Our thanks to the witness for sharing this report with us.
Mississauga ON 1970's
"For what it's worth....It was sometime in the late seventies, sorry the exact date or even year I forget.
I was living in Mississauga Ontario (Fieldgate and Bloor) on the ninth floor. It was sometime after
midnight, while lying in bed through my open window I heard a faint hum. I thought to myself what is that a UFO? The hum got a little louder I then thought if you are a UFO come take me, I want to know. I then felt a warmth
cast over me and the hum got very loud. I then got very scared and thought, no I don't want to go. Well the hum instantly just disappeared. At this time I
would like to mention my eyes were closed the entire time. I finally fell asleep and in the morning I thought about the events and surmised I must have been dreaming. I didn't tell anyone about this and the day went by normally. The day after that however I was reading a newspaper (The Toronto Sun) I couldn't believe what I was reading. The small 1 paragraph article simply stated "Two girls claim to have spotted a low hovering UFO around 1am in the Fielgate and Bloor area." It made me a believer and until now I have told this story only to my family. My son is a non believer and simply sums it up to a coincidence...but after reading that article I knew it was real."
Our thanks to the witness for sharing their experience with us. We will attempt to locate the original article.
Updated 2007: I grew up Fieldgate / Bloor in the 70's - 90's and remeber this incident as well. Friends and I remember seeing bright colour lights in the
sky. They seemed to be moving towards centenial hill park. I also recall the clouds seemed to be moving really fast in the sky yet there was no wind.
Thank you to the witness who wrote in on this.
Uxbridge ON Mid 1970's Approx. 8pm
It was in the mid 1970's and 8 of us had gone to a friends farm for cross country skiing. Time was around 8 pm. The farm was located just a few miles west of the town of Uxbridge and a few hundred yards south of the
east/west highway which ran directly in to main street Uxbridge. After dinner we put on our skis and went out west of the farm house. One member was further ahead of our group and sighted something in the sky north of our
location. When we reached him, he said look over there, which was due north. Approx 1/2 mile north of our location. Very close.
Over the years I personally have looked into the skys since the early 1950's and have
sighted many unusual objects but this was the grand slam. It was classic saucer shaped and huge.
It must have been about 100 feet wide and 30 feet high in dimensions with multi coloured lights circling around it's
beltline. It would periodically move up and down and left and right leaving a star dust trail on each movement. I prayed it would come towards us but it finally started to slowly move to the north east direction silently and in
about 30 seconds it accelerated like a rocket and disappeared almost immediately. I read a book by Von Dinigin (not correct spelling) that mentioned sightings were common on Wed. and Sat. nights especially around heavy magnetic
fields.
I went to the Ontario Legislative bldg. at Queens Park, Toronto and researched a book of maps showing magnetic fields in Ontario and low and behold all the various sighting I have seen over all the years were in
the these areas. It appeared that while it was hovering near Uxbridge it seemed as if it was intensly drawing up someting from the earth. It was unbelievebly facinating. All 8 of us witness this awesome sight on a cold winter
night in February....eight witnesses.
Our thanks to the witness for this report.
