Investigation of Pet Burial Site January 2008
This audio clip was taken in a rural area in Ontario where a spirit of a dog has been reportedly seen. Some of the noise in the background can be attributed to passing cars, from a nearby road, and possibly snow mobiles. The investigator's voice, heard in the clip, called out to the dog and can be heard saying 'that's a good boy, that's a good boy'. What sounds like singing was not heard by the investigator at the time and does not seem to be caused by the road or the snow mobiles.

Please note this is located in a privately owned area, and we have been asked to not give a specific location or directions. The owners do not want to attract the attention of ghost hunters that may trespass or cause problems at the site.
We may follow up at this location during the warmer months. If so, we will update this page with our findings.
We do not support the idea that spirits haunt locations where they have died in general rather where they lived, played, and worked as a rule. Therefore I think it is important to note that where the dog’s spirit has been reported is in a place he enjoyed running, and playing with his owner when alive.
