Port Dover ON July 3rd 2011 10:40pm

"It was Sunday night July 3rd 2011 at about 10:40pm.I couldn't sleep so i was headed down to the basement where it was cooler, for some reason instead i went into the living room. I noticed a weird light in the sky to the west over the hard ball diamond. This object was heading east over the Mill Store in Port Dover Ontario. It was moving slowly, a orangey red colour, bigger oval light at the bottom and a small light on top and the top light was flickering a bit but not all the time.It was moving in a straight horizontal line north west to south east.I could not believe it so i went and got my wife out of bed to see this so i would have another opinion and people would not think I'm nuts. When we went out on our rear deck to watch it more we noticed that there was no noise at all. Planes go over once in a while and you can hear them for ever.After a few seconds it seem to take off quickly.Because we live on the shore of Lake Erie over the years you see all different planes, helicopter hang gliders and search and rescue things but nothing like this."
