St Thomas ON August 17th 2011 9:55pm

"Around 9:55pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, I went out to my balcony and immediately spotted a line of silent, orange-red slowly pulsing orbs traveling from low on the horizon (which was obscured by buildings); their direction was South West to North East. They followed one another at a steady speed, making a slight arc from left to right until they were out of sight. I grabbed my camera, and by the time I was able to turn it on and find the objects, I was able to capture the last three for about 50 seconds. I'm accustomed to the sight of passenger aircraft in the night sky - but these display red and white blinking lights and generally move (slower), are much smaller, and usually travel from East - West, or West - East. I lived less than 2km from Cold Lake AFB in Alberta, and I've seen every imaginable type of aircraft - these objects were not aircraft in my opinion. Closer inspection of the video will confirm that. I recorded the sight until I was unable to capture any more - the balcony above and the building obscured them as they moved northward. I was unable to include any references (buildings, etc.) because in my excitement, I tried zooming in on the last two objects - difficult to do in low light with a zoom. Stars are visible in the video though, and there is a description of the event from my girlfriend, who immediately called a neighbour when we saw the lights."
