"UFO details report: Hi. I believe my family and I saw 3 UFO's hovering over Canada's Wonderland tonight. We arrived to a school located just outside of Canada's Wonderland off of Rutherford Rd at about 9:40 pm where we sat waiting for the fireworks display to begin, at around 9:50 pm we noticed a red light hovering over Canada's Wonderland. We watched this light go side to side and up and down, it quickly shot to the west, we could still see it in the distance, it hovered lower then a few moments later it went back up and shot back to the east and stopped right over the fireworks display. Right as the display started another red light appeared to the east, this one stayed in one spot through the display, part way through the fireworks another red light appeared to the east, fairly close to the other one. It made movements towards the fireworks and back near the other object in the sky. Meanwhile the first red light remained over the fireworks display and continued to move up and down and side to side, the movements were quick yet smooth. Just before the fireworks came to an end the 3 red lights formed a triangle, once the fireworks finished they separated, one to the east, one to the north and the other to the west. We watched all 3 till they disappeared. I don't know if these were UFO's or just Drones but I believe they were UFO's just by watching their movements. It was a very cool experience, even more entertaining then the fireworks. "
Webmaster's note: Canada's Wonderland has a very strict no drone policy over their park "All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) all Cedar Fair parks, including Canada's Wonderland, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Canada's Wonderland will be reported to Transportation Canada and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Transportation Canada Guidelines."
I have noted that there are a handful of Youtubes online of amateur drone operators that have recorded in Wonderland. Clearly it is illegal and dangerous hopefully the drone operators will be governing themselves accordingly.
