Mississauga ON August 23rd 2010 10pm approx.

"Last night (August 23rd 2010) at about 10pm my neighbour and I had just come out of her house when I noticed an unusual object flying toward us from the east in a westerly (slightly northerly) direction. I ran inside for my camera that happened to be close to my hallway but by the time I got back out the object had travelled so far that it was too small and far away. It had a look like the shield of a space shuttle (if it's called that) because it had a look like a skirt at the bottom with an extremely bright light beneath. The top was very small. If I could draw I would. The bottom that looked like a skirt was brightly lit up so it looked white. It definitely was not an aircraft that flies over us all the time here as it had no sound and it was too far up and going too fast until it disappeared high in the west. It was not a meteor either as I've seen those too and they don't go up they go down. It was strange. My neighbour said it looked like a kite."
