We received the following report in 2016, but the actual event occurred in 2014. We are looking for further information and would like to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience or has heard of any ghost legends in this location.

"Two summers ago (July 2014) I was working as a security guard at the wild fire golf resort with several other guards. For convenience we car pooled to the site so 3 of us were in the car at the time of the incident. My manager and I are looking out the right side windows and we gasp and brace for impact as I see the driver almost side swipe a motorcycle on our right. Within seconds the bike was out of view and my manager was losing it thinking we had run this poor fellow off the road in the company car. We found nothing, the driver saw no motorcycle and probably thought we needed sleep after that. This motorcycle n rider were as clear and solid as this screen, we naturally reported this to the police in case we actually did injure someone and no signs of an accident were located on scene.

I have no idea, I had mentioned it to my step father when he was alive and he said he had heard of the ghost rider but more often in the Scugog region so I'm  unsure if they are one in the same."

Webmaster's note: Although I do not believe the two to be related here is a link to our Scugog Island investigation.

Our thanks goes out to the witness for sharing this experience with us.
