UFO Phenomena 1970s Ontario UFO Sighting Reports Cambridge Report 1978
Cambridge Ontario August 12th 1978
UFO details report: I'm 15 years old at the time It was Saturday August 12 1978 at around 8:45-9:pm. I was watching TV in the living room and my Dad let out our dog a poodle out for his evening bathroom time to the backyard. The back door was on the living room outside wall facing the back yard.Behind our backyard was a hilly area made from when they pushed the dirt to build the townhouses. My Dad calls to me to come here and says what is that? I said nothing I was watching TV he says it again to me so I get up off the couch and look out the opened back door and see it and say what the hell is that thing? It was around 15-18feet long shaped like a football glowing red moving slowly about 10 km in speed 2-3 feet above the ground without a sound. Our yards were only 35 ft wide and 40ft long so we were about 50feet from it. We watched for 2 mins as it slowly moved forward above the ground. Just before it was about to collide into a neighbours house it stops has a little bounce and without a sound it goes straight up into the sky at lightning speed and vanishes in a second. I was completely terrified through this entire encounter and am still amazed how the planet is being lied to daily. This was my second sighting in Cambridge the first was with 14 other neighbours in 1976
