UFO details report: was kayaking on kahshe lake late afternoon yesterday, approx 5;30. Sky was nice, light puffy clouds. Noticed a plane flying over (cruising altitude),,then along the same view area I thought I saw two birds flying extremely high, for several minutes. I was trying to calculate how high they were but with no reference point, I was figuring 500 or 600 feet high, or higher... They were coasting more than flying as I could not distinguish and wings ,,, to me they looked white and blue, almost the same colour as the clouds and sky itself. I really thought these were birds except throughout it was odd that i couldn't see the wings,,, they were coasting in a circular and figure 8 type of maneuver like high flying birds often do... Then all of a sudden both of these objects started moving straight together and sped quickly up and then then got even faster and disappeared. I was trying to think that these birds were in a free-fall attach or something but I could no longer follow their flight and it looked like they just disappearing in a straight line, and fast and into the clouds...this is my first report ever."

In further correspondence the witness adds the following to the report:

"Just so you know, I've never reported a UFO sighting before. What I saw was so out of context with what is the norm I can't stop thinking about it, trying to explain to myself that these were just birds, but I cannot come to that conclusion because of the way they departed so fast  and in uniform.

I've looked for various videos on birds or UFO's and can't find anything similar.

I am so hoping that someone else saw this, but nothing would have appeared as being strange until one would see how the things went out of sight, or if they kept looking. It was after about 2 minutes of looking at these things that I became perplexed because they appeared so high, and I really could not see their wings flapping, maybe not a big deal because they were coasting in the high winds, but they coasted so smoothly and in such unison that I could not take my eyes off.

I've even ruled out a drone type of device or flying RC because the direction it flew in  in over uninhabited 'conservation land" and this time of year the mosquitoes and bugs are so bad you'd never dream of going hiking in this area. I kept looking in this area for 10 - 15 minutes looking for any clue of where these things went, and there was not another bird to be seen in the area. I went back in the kayak yesterday trying to recall everything as accurately as i could, and I recall that these two objects after flying around, similar to birds coasting at a higher altitude with the wind, but then they started in a complete straight line and then simply sped up and disappeared. I was thinking if these were birds of prey and they were in a super fast dive I would have seen them get closer to the ground but they simply sped off in a straight line, together, superfast. because it was late in the day, with the sun behind me, I was in the perfect position to see whatever it was. Bad time to forget my phone /camera, but then agian i don't usually take it kayaking with me, and usually I go with my wife,  but she was working, figures!

According to Google Earth this are the coordinates:

44°50'24.03"N

79°18'13.65"W

Judging from Google earth the plane I saw was flying from a northwest to South west direction, and the only reason I looked up was because I saw the plane.

So if records exist as to what flights were cruising overhead at that time, you could pin point a more exact time. The airport near us have no bearing on this, as it's a small airport and planes that use this airport are flying at a very low altitude."

Webmaster's note: Kahshe Lake is a lake situated in the Muskoka region in Ontario, Canada. It is one of the main cottaging lakes in the region and is the fourth largest of these lakes by area. There are approximately 600 cottages on the lake. Hopefully someone else may have seen these "bird-like objects" either on the date and time in question or at another point in time.

Our thanks goes out to the witness for sharing this experience with us.
