"I happened upon the object on July 4th around 12:15 pm. I was walking westward on a local bike path, on my way home for my lunch hour from work. I looked up to see a long white cylinder shaped object literally hovering directly in front and above me. The object was in plain sight, and not overly high up in the sky. Within an instance, it shot straight up north westward on an angle. There was no visible wings, tail or even jet stream. I was shocked to see the rate at which the object shot upward and the hovering maneuvers, that I immediately started to run the remaining 3 blocks to my home. I got home, still with the object in my sight (now, higher in the sky and still traveling north westward) I immediately called for my fiancée (who is also a witness) to grab the vid camera and start recording. We do have 2 mins of video of this object."
