Niagara ON     April 21st 2011 9:20 - 9:30pm

"I have my doubts that this was anything significant, but I'll throw it out there in case anyone else saw it too. Last Thursday (April 21), between 9:20 and 9:30 pm, driving north on Niagara Stone Road/HWY 55 near Virgil, I saw (twice) a series of really bright lights in the sky to the east/north-east. Looked like a tight formation of maybe 5 white lights on a 45-degree angle.

I observed them for a couple of seconds, turned my attention back to the road, then looked back and they seemed to have disappeared. I kept checking back in the same direction as I drove, but didn't see them...until they reappeared a few minutes later. Again, they only seemed to last a few seconds and were gone once more.

There IS a very small airport near Virgil, so perhaps I simply caught a glimpse of a plane banking (twice), but at the time (and in retrospect) they really didn't look like any small aircraft's landing lights that I've seen before. I take this route on a daily basis, and haven't noticed anything like it before...but I'll be paying more attention henceforth! "
