Strathroy Ontario June 20th - July 1st 2008 various times

We have seen 3 weird objects in the sky, they all looked the same.  The first time we thought it was a hot air balloon, the fire and it was raising rapidly up into the sky, then there was smoke, the fire was out and it began to fall and drift as it was falling.  We got binoculars and it looked like a big rock or bag or something and it was tumbling as it was falling.  We were terrified because we thought it was a hot air balloon and someone was in it.  My son and daughter got in the car and went all over where it looked like it fell but there was nothing/noone anywhere.  We contacted our radio station and asked if they had heard anything and they hadn't.  Some fishing around and they found a police officer and his wife that saw the same thing.  It was Friday night(June 20th) first night of  the Turkey Festival, so we figured it had something to do with that and never gave it much thought after that.  Then 2 more times we have seen it, the last time being Canada Day night when we were doing fireworks.  It is weird because all 3 times, it followed the same path but these last 2 times, it did not fall or smoke, we could see the fire and it just kept traveling across the sky until we couldn't see it anymore and it was between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Update July 18th 2008

July 18, 2008.  On July 17, 2008 we saw the 4th weird object in the sky, they all looked the same.  The first time we thought it was a hot air balloon, the fire and it was raising rapidly up into the sky, then there was smoke, the fire was out and it began to fall and drift as it was falling.  We got binoculars and it looked like a big rock or bag or something and it was tumbling as it was falling.  We were terrified because we thought it was a hot air balloon and someone was in it.  My son and daughter got in the car and went all over where it looked like it fell but there was nothing/noone anywhere.  We contacted our radio station and asked if they had heard anything and they hadn't.  Some fishing around and they found a police officer and his wife that saw the same thing.  It was Friday night(June 20th) first night of  the Turkey Festival, so we figured it had something to do with that and never gave it much thought after that.  Then 3 more times, we have seen it,  Canada Day night(July 1,2008) when we were doing fireworks and last night July 17,2008.  It is weird because 3 times, it followed the same path but 2 times, it did not fall or smoke, we could see the fire and it just kept travelling across the sky until we couldn't see it anymore and it was between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.  Last night July 17 it was falling from a complete different direction.  I am still trying to find out if anyone has heard anything.  My daughter and friend saw it also and they live a street behind me.
