Utopia Ontario Summer Possibly 1988-1990

UFO details report: I can't remember the exact date or year. It was approximately 1988 to 1990 I was in public school and it was summer break. I left my house for a bike ride roughly 6:00pm it was warm and clear and sunny.   I only got about 500 m down the road from the house heading north when I seen something just above the hydro wires, I stopped and stood beside my bicycle and watched in awe. It had a flat bottom and was a wedge shape side profile like a Lamborghini,the color was flat earthy brown and the surface had lines grooved over it like the way they mill the pavement on the road before re paving. I felt a low vibration like a distant fright train shaking the ground and could hear a low faint hum. Then slight vertical lines or bars of light started to shimmer from the front to back in different rhythms. The craft was roughly 20 feet in front of me and maybe 30 feet off the ground  and was stationary now, I was frozen standing there overwhelmed then the lights switched from lines to oval and were faint and looked as if they were projected onto it. Then the light went off and the craft started to move slowly in a straight line northeast direction towards Barrie and when it was about a kilometer away it light up and looked like a star in the night sky the sun was set now so I think I must of watched it for a long time. I turned around and ran home an told my parents. They checked me over and said it was probably a helicopter from Base Borden lol.
