UFO details report: I was in my basement, relaxing with video games/music and I went to close the window blinds. Looking out, I noticed a metallic, cylindrical object with a metal beam with rivets around the midsection. It was above power lines, behind trees and a lamp post from my view. It was around the size of a car, although it seemed like more of a probe than a vehicle.I stepped back in disbelief and fear, and decided I needed to get a good look at it and memorize every detail I could about it. I moved back to the window and I saw it hovering there for 20 or so seconds.During that time the bottom portion opened up in a sideways manner to reveal a conical cavity in the bottom  that was emitting multicoloured, spinning lights that were initially green, with some colours swirling in it, and eventually settled on solid yellow. After this, an orange glow was subsequently emitted out of the top. The top section wasn't visible from my view. When the lights were emitted, the sky around it turned black, like it was night time around it. The rest of the sky was normal-grey overcast. It promptly closed up after a few seconds and then it slowly floated away westward, slow acceleration, out of my field of view. When it closed up, the sky around it went back to normal.Afterwards I felt overwhelming shock and fear. I saw something I wasn't supposed to see. I had the feeling it was watching me, and when it realized I could see it, it left. In hindsight, it seems like it was absorbing energy from the power lines, and even the light energy from around it.
