My girlfriend lived there with her 2 boys, 10 and 13 for a few months, from September to May 2000. She took the small apartment over from a girlfriend of hers who moved into another apartment on the top floor. We later found out that this girl and her boyfriend had a few disturbances in this apartment,
which she failed to mention prior to my girlfriend moving in.

During her time there both her boys felt they we're being watched and wouldn't even close the bathroom door when in use. Same with my girlfriend, she would never stay alone when her boys went to stay with their father. All three of them had nightmares almost nightly. I never had a bad feeling or thought in that apartment and had stayed hours by myself - nothing.  I figured they we stressed-out with Toronto life; they had moved from Brantford, On.

UNTIL...  The second weekend in Jan. 2000, Saturday night. I became a believer!

Her kids were with their father. It was about 1am, it was snowing hard outside. We were lying in bed, lights out, except for a 2 candles in the living room. She was telling me about the 'thing' again in her apartment. I told her she was "full of it, there are no ghost's in this apartment building!"

I had no sooner finished my sentence when we heard and felt 2 loud bangs underneath the metal-framed bed. The bed collapsed inward!

WE ran in the living room, we were both laughing, breathing hard and goose bumps! I said to her "no way!" She didn't even have a chance to respond when the, thick glass, foot high, candle holder shattered above the TV wall unit! She put the candle out, burned the carpet, we put all the lights on, got dressed ASAP and took off to my apartment - only to return the next day!

She never told her boys what had happened to us until after they moved out. She and her boys continued to live there until May, the only other experience had was when the oldest boy felt a "hand" push him from behind and knocked him down in his room, while my girlfriend and her younger guy were doing laundry.
